- From the age of 7, when motorbikes enthralled her with their looks, sound and sense of freedom, Jodie made it her dream to surround herself with bikes.
Throughout her life bikes had always been there on the side, until she made the decision to make a career change.
This is the story of the pursuit of dreams.

"It's light, easy and starts everytime." - simple things but such valuable qualities in a bike...
How I feel about my Honda Grom
A. the bike is way cool. B. Jodie is beautiful. Not modern cheap beautiful, but deep soul beautiful. What an inspiring story. What an honest lovable spirit!

"I knew that I needed to get a house and I need to get a job to get a house..."
RESPECT!!!!
Right!! I have daughters and she is rad!!
right on man
pff, dude we are out there.
So few people dedicate their lives to doing what they love. It's been a long journey for you Jodi but you're finally there. Doing what you love and being who you are. Isn't that what we're here for? You rock girl!
Jodie's story is so rare for a young woman nowadays. Her passion and drive is highly motivating, and maybe needs to be shared amongst youth who have had it sucked out of them. And I love the expression that she's found a bike that she melds so completely with, that there's no need to continue populating her stable.
Well said Niall!
Bravo, she's hit a sweet spot in life. Cool ride, job she likes, good family, love. Everybody wants this.
Add in good health and really can't ask for more
I would like to thank you and Jodie for this Episode. The story is much more than just about a bike. Thank you guys. We are watching you. Ukraine, Kharkiv.
She reminds me my first girlfriend, back in 1990... the eyes, the smile, the color of the hair and the love for motorcycles.
Too bad i'd put her away from me when she was only trying to be my friend and help me, 23 years later... sorry about that, Vanessa, but some men (like me) are too stupid to see kindness.
All right, let's finish the soap opera...
Great video, and a great character too! Jodie is an example for many people.
That's the pure motorcycle feeling only bikers can understand, it makes me feel proud to ride
What a sweet little film. Isn't amazing this passion we all share who truly love motorcycles. I started my girls on honda 50's and they progressed all the way to 150's and I can totally see them riding for the rest of their lives. Its an amazing thing when you empower a girl with her own 'motorbike'. And to the kooks commenting...get over you stupid selves she is an amazing 'person'. Good on you girl from laguna Beach Ca!!!
Enjoyed this piece. True moto spirit here. My wife is considering the TU250X for her return to motorcycles. She rode cruisers before our son was born, and years later, seeing the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" got her thinking of having a bike again, but not a cruiser (yay! from me a sport-tour/ADV-touring moto dude). How Jodie modified her TU is really well thought out, and using oversized tires is intriguing. Trying to tip my wife over onto the 'get your moto' side of the fence: returning to two-wheels at 52 has some apprehensions (she's already survived two serious motor vehicle accidents, one was life threatening - both non motorcycle related; me, one major motorcycle crash with a coyote strike)... but the simplicity and 'charming' nature of the little TU250X gem, and Jodie's take on it, have been a very pleasant eye-opener. Thanks.
This was an amazing story, so genuine, very well produced and beautifully shot.
I came across this video simply looking for reviews on the Suzuki 250 and was hooked after the first few minutes and got so much more out of it than just a simple endorsement for the Suzuki, I actually feel inspired. We need more videos like this on UA-cam.
You don't have to be a motorcycle person to love this story !
Inspiring video: you don't need a big bike to develop a big grin; you need the right bike, the one you feel comfortable with.
im so glad for her! EVERYONE DESERVES to ride if they choose! :)
This video is like travelling back in times. This is the best story of a bike story it is a beautiful movie.
What a great video - I was very moved by your love of bikes - I have experienced similar feeling since first riding a BSA C11G over 50 years ago. Still get the same thrill. Good fortune with your journey through life Jodie
I'm getting a TU-250x as my first bike in a few weeks. Can't wait!
update please?
Amazing story of a strong woman. Thank you for sharing this unique story.
What a terrific story. As a rider of 25+ years, i totally understand Jodie's story. Well done.
I used to watch this channel a lot during college. Probably stopped after I realized I wouldn't be owning a bike anytime soon. Happy to be back with my own SV bike now.
1979 i was waiting for the bus, saw a guy going down north Avenue ..blue chopper feet were on the highway pegs ..forks extended..big sissy bar..I didnt take my eyes off him until i couldn't see him anymore..
I was 9..i never forgot that day..
Been riding ever since..
Great story and video..
good for u Jodie! Im an old guy{57 now} and have lived my years in western canada surrounded by cars, trucks and motorbikes and blue collar people.. Im happiest dreaming about ,cleaning them and driving or riding them..Enjoy ur life to the fullest, apologize for little and love those around u!!
I love how this series has developed. We have moved away from the overly 'hipsters' types who took themselves a bit too seriously in the earlier films to the 'real' people. Dream,, Romance and Backup are my favourites
Thanks Alan. The first few episodes, while being great guys, were also the only ones willing to give up their time and step in front of the camera for me. I'm now have folks approaching me with their stories and am almost at a point where I'm spoilt for choice on what to do next.
Stories of Bike
Keep these kinda stories coming! I really enjoyed Jodie's story and its just real and just plane human of what it is to fall in love with bikes. I cant stop watching this inspiring video. Ive repeated like 10 times :D Thank you!
wow I caught myself crying what a great story.
Very inspiring! Especially for a girl like me who loves motorcycles. Loved this story.
Its pretty aweful people are judging her for being a lesbian. Thats her business. Her story and her life journey is incredible. She fought to were she is today and is living her dream and I think people with negative opinions should keep it to themselves. Stories of Bike Thanks for these awesome stories, Im currently working on my first build, a cb360 and these videos truly motivate me and I hope I get as much enjoyment out of my bike when its finished, cheers!
Well it's really not uncommon to judge people for what's "their business" and she's obviously sharing this business with the whole world. I think people with positive opinions should keep them to themselves.
I love how she is very passionate about motorcycle. One of my favorites.
Brilliant. Dorsnt matter which continent we are on, the passion is the same. Going round the bike shops collecting the leaflets and flicking through them until they were in tatters. Think my Dads attic still has boxes of them. Brought back great memories, thanks!
Love this episode. Revisit it every so often. I have a TU (actually, 2 TU's!)
I do hope you still have that bike and your life is fun. Amazing video and I ride a 250, It makes me smile.❤
I love this story. Jodie is an inspiration. Takes guts and strength to make changes in your life for the pursuit of happiness. Thanks Jodie and the film makers.
The first motorcycle I ever rode was a TU-250x. I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's basic rider course, and there just happened to be one bike left...the TU-250x. It was love at first sight, and it made riding and learning so much more fun. You may think it's a silly exaggeration to say "love at first sight," but those of you who have bikes know that I'm totally serious.
Beautiful story, Jodie. Thank you for sharing yourself with us. :)
My first bike after 40 years of not riding is a TU250 - bought because it reminded me of the Triumphs of the 50s and 60s. Even though I have a Tiger 1050, I still love the Suzi!
Excellent........my fav so far........I love how she articulates her thoughts and feelings...........this girl was meant to ride!!!
Doing things you simply want are the coolest part of life.
I never get tired of these stories, I never know which is best. The vision, the camera work, focus control the music. This is really, really good work. Well done
Love seeing such videos. Makes me realize how fortunate it is to ride a bike and be extremely happy ...Nothing and Nothing coming in the way, lifes small pleasures
Lovely little bike, I am so envious of that sunshine and dry roads, so different to our rain, dirty roads and traffic everywhere.
I'm in Sydney and similarly envious of no traffic everywhere lol
Now that's passion. Love the sound of that bike.
Wow... Such an amazing story...
I found love for the bikes when i was 10 yrs old... That was my dad's bike... All in my life, i learned from him... Even the bike... I love him and wish him health and happiness forever...
This is my favorite one of these yet and they are all so good. It's interesting how extensively bikes have influenced her life and guides her career.
Love her bike, and really like her spirit. I would advise her to keep the bike. I bought one in 1987 that was just right for me. My friends used to ask when I was going to update to a new one, but the bike gave me what I wanted from a ride. So I kept it, and don't regret that decision at all.
So glad things have turned out for you Jodie, but most important, you are happy!! very inspiring and cool story. Cheers from México!!
Story is cool. Music is awesome. Put smile on my face. Thanks.
This is a special video compared to the others because it's so real. An individuals story is what makes a bike a bike.
This is the best FUCKING channel on UA-cam , bikes and motivation. what else do yo need
Loved every second of this video. Captivating story and narration. 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a good film and very moving story. I find it very inspiring to hear everyday people talk about their passions, and the things that motivate and make them happy.
I love this! Jodie is amazing! Way to stick to your dream!!
A very heartwarming story... This is a story that all women who ever privately aspired to own or ride a motorcycle should watch. Just do it. Excellent!!
This is my favorite episode, the story of Jodie is moving, a circle around the love for family and motorcycles. I also, as a child I was visually hit by a Triumph, parked outside an old palace of the times of viceroyalty in Downtown Mexico City, a vision that I treasure ever since. I ride bikes since 16, now I’m 56 is the passion of my life. In another order of ideas I would like to know something about the jacket that uses Jodie, it really is very nice, Gracias.
The TUX is my first bike. Nice seeing someone with so much experience enjoy theirs as much as I enjoy mine. Love all the mods she's made to the bike.
Keely and I are having a hard time picturing you on a motorcycle.
I'd imaginemyself living like that through out the video. it looks like a very cool way of living. Jodie is truly living passionately and deliberately not just spending her life like most of us do. She is unusually warm and honest.
Hope some day I could have a life like that...
Wouahou.. this episode make me smile... It's.. so beautiful...
This lady is rad!
Discovery: A story of Triumph Bonneville in New York City, is my favourite. I like this one too though...
I love the tu250x. That was the first bike a rode (at the msf course) very comfortable, fuel injected, not heavy at all, great style. I ended up buying a royal enfield continental gt 650, but I can say that my love for motorcycles started that day at the msf course on top of a Suzuki tu250x. Great video!!!!
I really fell in love with this bike. It's oh so beautiful! *.*
Great story. What a great lady. Funny how bikes can just take over our lives like this. Love the bike too. I thought it was a 500 single. Really nice for a 250.
Great story, great woman and her GREAT motorbike. Don't need a lot of money to turn a dream into reality. Thanks for this emotional video.
Man that bike is so awesome. Wish I had it. Love all its upgrades.
Probably the best video ever. You thoroughly understand bike passion.
It's all about the passion, everything else doesn't matter. Just keep on ride'n
Just passed by to watch my favorite episode. :)
A real sense of freedom and love for the motorcycle in your stories.
Mother nature got nice surprises in our life to make it live as memorable one. It is important for us to know what we are and what we been born for? Bikes are gifted machines. If u sit in a car you feel like watchin movie, but if u ride a bike on a road yet to discover you are starring in it.
Top chick, your story is inspiring... forever two wheels !!!
Haven’t watched in a while , popped up, still resonates so well. Beautiful film 🙏👍🏼👏🏻
what a wonderful story...
that's right, follow your heart...
get a bike, ride and be Free
I really enjoy all of your videos but think this one is the best. I've re-visited at least four times now, to get the link and share it with people I know will also enjoy it. I always find myself watching it again with each visit. Your work is spectacular.
I just love what you have done with your TU. It is stunning and very, very cool.
other episodes put me to sleep but not this one.. . dunno why ever since i discover this few days ago, i watched this at least 4-5 times a day. Jodie's story is so inspiring
I hear you. Her's is the longest episode we've made, yet it's the most watched. It says a lot about her determination and riding spirit.
this video made me get my own tu250x!
I wasn't even born in the 80s, but I love their old look, so much nicer than the streamlined designs of modern motorcycles
I love this girl and her bike..
Another crafted and creative film. Thank you Cam and your team.
this is my favorite story I've watched it four times already
I really appreciate your work and the time you take.
All your stuff just makes me happy.
coolest TU I've ever seen!
Congrats to Jodie!
Your Dream has carried you a long way , young Lady !
Your short films are beautiful pieces of work. This is not just a throw away internet comment, it makes me want to gear up and go every episode.
It's been a year since we posted Episode 10: Dream. Even with a bunch of mixed reactions, it's still one of, if not the most popular, episodes so far.
Have another watch and share what you you got from Jodie's story.
Hurry up with a new video, each video is great so far. Big fan
Cheers Sean. New episode coming soon, been tied up with a bunch of other work. Did you get your tee? Thanks for the support
Just showed up but I am working and haven't seen them yet
Stories of Bike - Just please don't make the music as loud in the future. It's hard to follow her story with the loud music in the ... foreground? =) Apart from that I really liked the film.
Masterfully crafted! Great job!
I just want to say that I love this Channel and how it portrays the bikers and biking culture.
It just has so much soul in it.
I mean there are a million videos out there about motorcycling but this channel is the most "human" I guess. I just fall in love with each and every story.
The editing is really good as well.
Thanks you so much for the kind words. You got it exactly right too. I couldn't find the story vids of motorcyclists that I wanted, so I thought I should make some myself.
Great story, I love my TU as well. Thanks for posting !
Awesome movie. Genuine, authentic and totally engaging for the viewer.
I have 15 bikes. Mopeds to litre bikes…..tomm I’m adding a 2012 TU250. Gonna drop some cool mods on it and have some thumper fun.
Love this video!!!
That's the spirit!
This is one of the most inspiring stories in the Stories of Bike series. Thank you for sharing this story!!
Dad was a ball turret gunner. 487th bomb group. I have to see that Mighty Eighth museum. Kermit Weeks had a turret in Miami before the hurricane dropped the roof in. Bless the restorers.
That was just brilliant. THAT is what bikes are all about. An awesome series. Thank you
I love your bike Jodie! Cool Bike!
That´s amazing to see (or watch) the love for your own bike. The happyness shines in her eyes. Congratulations for a beautiful video, just like the history.
Liked your enthusiasm about these machines.... Love from India
Best episode of the series. Major props and respect for Jodie! Cheers from this side of the Pacific!
i rode one of those in my MSF class a few weeks ago.. seriously made me rethink the bike i had already bought.
Sweet ! I started at 12 yo, 1st bike I owned was a 68 125 Honda Bentley,for $200.. Now own (14) I,love seeing life on 2wheeled lightning bolt !
Only just discovered this series, wow what a great story. Looking forward to viewing the rest of them.
I was so moved by this story thank you. It was also beautifully filmed. I am finally ready to start my journey as a motorcycle owner. I think the TU is the one for me..
Go for it!
Had tears in my eyes after watching your story
Brilliant story. Pure passion.
God this was beautiful. I don’t even have or ride a bike and watched this. It has nothing to do with having the same interest just seeing someone go for it is pretty cool.
