This period of the Stones is brought to you by Brian Jones
During the Civil War in 1864, I saw these guys at a USO show for the troops. Amazing Band!!
keep off that stuff
Can you explain the joke please?
Hey look at that, the Rolling Stones were actually young at one point.
Amazing they're still playing this song 100 years later.
CaptainCaptainZach I thought I set my alarm for 8:55 PM, guess I had the hour and year buttons messed up again.
With Keith the corpse.
empire Yeah, they're still playing this song. They probably wish to hell they didn't have to play it anymore. I saw them play it in 1981, and they looked like it caused them pain to still be playing it then.
*346 years
666 years now
What is scary (or amazing) is that these guys are still doing this 50 years later!
60 now bro
@@e4325 lol
2023, September, putting out a new album in October with new songs. Still the best!
Not all of them...
A bit closer, you 'd view his over-worked goolies..he is really bad lad.
NO JONES NO STONES
Mick said he doesn't want to sing this song when he's 42 years old. Soon he will be 84 years old and will surely be singing it then too.
The Stones are on tour right now so yeah he's singing this song.
My boyfriend just saw them last night. You bet they played this song!
@@WordyGirl90Yes, they always play that song. But I said what Mick said when he was young that he didn't want to play that song at 42. It's funny to say the least as he's almost 42 years over that age. So you misunderstood me. Of course they play their biggest hits every time. But they are no longer good live at all. I think most of them sound really damn bad, and I say that as someone who has had them as my favorite band for 42 years, funnily enough.
The "rebels" even wore suites back then BUILD ME A FUCKING TIME MACHINE
I don't wanna be one of those "born in the wrong generation" people but I wish people would still dress like this!
People aren't just going to magically start dressing like this... start the trend!
Could they get closer on Mick's face. I couldn't quite see his tonsils.
I know, right?
Kinda looks like Luke Skywalker
It's Elvis Presley. The showed an extreme close-up of his face because, in those days, a man shaking his hips on TV was scandalous.
@@MrSpartyhawk This was broadcast in 1966. Not 1956.
@@Igaveyoumyfakename Reading for comprehension clearly isn't one of your strengths. I didn't say Mick did this in 1956. What I meant was that because Elvis Presley shook his hips and there was outrage in the '50s, the artists who followed were shot above the waist if they were dancing. That mentality still was in effect in the early and mid '60s among TV censors. I'm guessing you weren't around then.
I can't get no satisfaction....enjoying the video,...then Ed says "goodnight".
Wtf happened 😂
He kept telling them to 'clean-up the words, wash their hair, change their clothes, or else, no show.
What are you talking about? The rolling stones are a living legend! One direction releases songs and they're forgotten after a month!!!
Mick Jagger=Luke Skywalker
so fucking true
kkkkk is real
I thought the same thing when I was younger
Allen Klein = ?
hahahahahahahaha
This is the first time I am seeing Mike Jagger so young 😂😂 without wrinkles
Good lord, the hair styles haha. True rock and roll! X)
What you mean? Mick still has the same one
50 years later selling out STADIUMS for multi nights...the greatest band of all time?Id say yes.
After the Beatles.
@ElyC West Yes
and the beach boys, and the beatles, and the doors.
@@slepey_never forget queen
Ithot Bryan aren't the same for me
A MONSTER hit in the spring of 1965
They are actually playing the song live here. The CBS-TV producers refused to mix Keith's guitar at the thunderous volume of the record; it would have thrown their teevee audio equipment into chaos.
Love this song and the one called, “Some Girls.”
They Rolling Stones remind of this cartoon I used to watch as little kid , the impossibles 😮😢
I can't get no satisfaction from this song with all that shrill screaming.
...get it?
The girls were actually screaming louder here than they were for the Beatles in their legendary 1964 appearance, but Ed Sullivan had the audience's volume levels turned way down due to the lesson learned from that legendary Beatles gig.
There's no point in lying, we all know the Beatles are superior
@@GiampieroRusso You are lying. Ed Sullivan said that he had to turn down the volume. But both bands had merely average musicians. Yet, the overall sound was great from both. The Beatles have sold triple the albums as per RIAA, even though the Stones released many times the issues.
@@gmail4218 The Beatles innovated, experimented and enchanted. The Rolling Stones none of that
@@gmail4218 Also if they were merely then who are the good ones to you? Ahhaha you are a great comedian
@@GiampieroRusso The Stones did all of those things, too. But they were not nearly as big as The Beatles in influence or sales per album.
Amazing
Actually playing live. I'm impressed.
Oh man, haven't seen this clip in years. The bags have already formed under Brian's eyes. Archival color footage of this stage of the group's career is relatively rare. Jagger's eyes, I'm straight man but they are beautiful.
Cocaine's a helluva drug.
FELICES 80, MIKE !!!
I love this song it is a great classic .😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
the crowd went wild when they came on
mainly the girls though
Satisfaction❤
MJagger always was like,
'I jus don' give a Damn!!'
OLD ED, he was right out of his way with the modern rush of pop music, fashions and attitudes, flooding in from Britain
Yes!
This is probably the time where Bill Wyman looked most excited.
Gracias.
Privilegio
They young as fuck.
awesom
Holy crap, you could see it all the way back then. Mick had it even all the way back then. That stage presence.
Aaww!!!! This wouldn't been perfect with distortion!!!!
If I think about it he kinda looks like like Luke hamill when he played young Luke in starwars
mick jagger has 0 chill, it's great
LOL
facts
+Cassie Rosa that stare though
Right,his eyes 😍😋
I want 2 of what ever Mic Jagger was on when this was recorded lol
Surreal o quanto essa música fez sucesso...
Why?
God I love The Rolling Stones.
Brilliant 👏
The best
🤟🤘
Mick just owned that stage, even back then.
(A) Rolling Stones gathers no moss
Mick enjoyed playing with his microphone
No. 1 song of 1965! I heard that one of the Voyager space probes is carrying this song! Wow! Can you imagine an alien asking for "us"(earthngs) to send them more Rolling Stones songs?
=)
they were warned before hand not to play that song on the show, but did it anyway.
Reallyy? Source?
Nah. "Satisfaction" was a massive hit and it doesn't say anything overtly sexual (there are some double entendres). You're thinking of "Let's Spend The Night Together" in 1966.
No está el video completo???
Un verdadero crimen haberlo cortado ahí !!!
😡😡😡
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Great
I didn’t know Luke Skywalker is the frontman of the stones
wow i was only 6 years old
YOU CAN'T GET NO!
мои Друзья в1978-79 на Танцах играли Спасибо. Роллинг Стоунз. Сатисфекшн
"No Satisfaction"
My love life could use some traction
Have I lost my personality attraction
I seem to never ever get satisfaction
Flowers an my smiles get no reaction
All I really do need is some interaction
There I ruined it has a version on insta. 😂
Jagger's dancing, what? The only man in the world that gets away with that
AWL 💞 WAHHLLLLLaaaaaeaallllll!!!?❤
What band from the 50's/60's/early 70's WASN'T on The Ed Sullivan show?
The who, Santana, Jimi Hendrix
Could go on forever tbh😆
@@Reboundfifty Ooh.
All the good bands actually played live on TV. But even back then, musicians mimed to tracks
On TOP of the POPS, the BBC insisted that ALL stars mime to their records, because it took too long to change all the mikes cameras and other technical stuff, between performances. Only towards the end of ToTP , when the right gear was introduced did they allow a few BIG GUNS, to play live.
mick jagger is lit
Everyone in the band looked like the common 1980’s (Aunt)
The Welsh town and famous railway of Llandudno (clandidno) could launch a new tourism campaign by ever so slightly altering the chorus of this classic hit.
I think you get the picture...and some satisfaction
good celebrity
Czech out the close ups of the "Bad Boys". That is the healthiest they've probably ever been in their lives; clear eyes, rosy complexions. Guess they couldn't find any heroin up in Harlem before the show.
Keith was on with Howard Stern today. Paul Simon told Howard that the baseline in this song is perfection. Agree?
I can't get no satisfaction
Thanks for the upload! Is it me? I can barely hear Keith's famous guitar riff!
Mick and Keith got back the publishing rights to this song. True story.
Far out 🙂
Don’t be shy release the whole video
I bet Charlie was fine with the clip.
song was banned in nebraska. which of course made everyone go out and buy it. long time ago...
Very interesting. :)
Starman🤣
Brian looks like an albino!
I remember watching a little documentary and a black musician said MICK with his big lips and his hips done it better than us black folks😂
this performance can't touch the Beatles' one in 1964.
Sure cant!!
Too bad the fuzz box wasn't working.
@Fernando Cunha We can hear a piano, who play ? Ian Stewart ?
@Fernando Cunha Yes at 0:13
it's not Keith Richard's guitar, there is clearly a piano, but it must be off the stage
Does anyone know the exact name of Bill Wymans Bass here?
That's a framus star bass
A 5/149 to be precise
What happened to Ed Sullivan Introducing them.
the oldest looking 20 somethings I've ever seen. but everyone was a smoker back then and they were definitely up all night a lot playing shows, recording, drinking, etc
Arine..🤣
Please tell me I'm not he only one that thinks mick looks like Mark hamil
Mick was just using the force, that's all ;) lmao
El rubio es Brian Jones?
Yes, Brian was blonde
We should've seen rolling stones vs the Beatles band battle
Opportunity missed.
What a tease! It's not even the full song!
Was Keith’s fuzz box not working that night?
i found harry styles looks a bit like mick, thats just my very personal opinion ^^
Mee tooooo!
Mmm nel.
Alfie from Games of Thrones looks a lot like Jäger

mark hamil?
Those poor people being burned alive and no one is helping them… good performance though
What was Hammill then,an embryo? This was all new then.
WHY THE FUCK DID THIS SONG END SO BLOODY EARLY??????!!!!!! I WANTED A FULL ROLLINGSTONES SONG!!! THIS IS A HALF ASS JOB!!!!! WTF!!!!
Ed Sullivan owns this performance. You're lucky you're seeing this much of it for free. But rest assured Ed will be more than happy to sell you the full performance on DVD. Operators are standing by.

Actually... I think someone kinda wanted it buried because a certain member makes 2 glaring mistakes. The first one is right where this video cuts off.🎉
Show the entire clip, PLEASE!!
