Yep. If it wasn't for Tiger I'd never watch or get to know the object of the game. I used to take naps when I attempted to watch golf on tv but since Woods arrival past 21 yrs golf is a must watch event for me as any sport.
And let’s not forget the fact that he had the lead on the back 9 at the Open Championship, and also made a charge at Brooks in the PGA this same season. I’d love to see him win #83.
Tiger never gave up. He knew to listen to his body, knew when to withdraw and was objective of building himself up gradually. He looks like he is healing physically and emotionally. So thrilled for him and the game!

When we look back in years to come when tiger was injured and marvelling at his brilliance in the 00s. This is up I would say in the top 3 of his victories (#1 first win @ Augusta #2 hoylake with the aftermath of his father passing away and #3 this) I’m a huge TW so I know I’m bias but how many other sports have we seen a comeback like this? I can’t think of many. I have the utmost respect for The golden bear but this guy is just something else. Golf truly won on this day. With the level of talent and commitment this man has had to the game of golf. No man is perfect I’m not saying his past actions were right at all. But let’s admire a man who has single handily defined the way golf is played today. Congrats TW! Now hurry up, Sam & Jack are waiting for you :)

Didn’t Ben Hogan win majors after almost being killed in 1949? Broken pelvis, broken ribs, broken ankle, circulatory problems for the rest of his life. They were sure he would have a hard time walking again, let alone play golf, never mind at a PGA Tour level. In 1953 he only played 9 tournaments due to health issues......and won 3 majors that year. Big TW fan and what he has done is phenomenal but don’t diminish one of greatest comebacks of all time by one of the greatest golfers of all time.
It's truly unreal how rarely he actually makes a traditionally accepted divot. His impacts are perfect. No wasted energy to the ball. The sound his irons made whenever I saw him in person always made me laugh with amazement.
Watching the crowds go crazy at the end of the tournament, was crazy . It was a new Tiger not the one of 2000 who was head and shoulders better than everyone, but hats off to Tiger nearly 10 invasive surgeries and he found his way back, well done Tiger.

I’ve watched shots of his from tournaments earlier this year and there have been number of times Tiger would hit a shot that only Tiger could hit. The Tiger that dominated anytime he stepped on to the green, also his putt on the par 5 (18th) 😳 now if that wasn’t vintage Tiger MANNNNN!!!

There are some great players in the game today, there more talent than any other time in the game’s history.. Tiger just reminded us that he has a level of game and charisma that, when he’s rolling, nobody can match. It’s great to have him back.
But to be fair to them, even the medical doctors at that time never thought he could play at this level again either, so it was a legit thing to believe.
They must be regretted and full of disbelief. Tiger has proven to them they are deadly wrong in judging him and have written him off. Hope the punters have learned a valuable lesson for the rest of their life.

I knew something good was going to happen this weekend for Tiger after seeing the highlights for him for T,F and S. All those fairways and putts made just was showing he had figured it out. On Sunday I watched the coverage live and just sat there and watched the master at work. The one thing I noticed most of every day of this tournament was the touch in his putting and the speed of each putt, when you see a lot of his putts that pretty much die just as they reach the hole, you know he's avoiding bogies. I think this was the most putts i saw that had just enough to reach the hole, but not too much where he is looking at bogey. When you see every player he was paired with falter...Tiger was saving par, not just making birdies.
@@Recon-cv1fe you honestly think Jack is better? What you seem to forget is that Jack played in WAY more tournaments. His win percentage is way lower than Tiger's. I'd say win percentage is more indicative of who's better. Google the stats. Jack's win percentage isn't anything particularly amazing.
@@jhaz89 And you seem to forget the advantages Tiger had over Jack. Courses were not as pristine in Jack's era. They didn't have the advanced course management and grooming technology like Tiger had/has. Jack's golf equipment is stone age compared to Tiger's. Tiger also uses PED's; Jack did not.

Because that's by far the most relevant determinent to who is better. Is James Harden a better shooter than Steph Curry because Curry has been out basically the entire season? I mean Harden has made more three pointers this season so he must be a better shooter....right?

wonderful to see Tiger playing like this. and, he looked like he was swinging easy and not forcing anything. if he can stay fit then the major record is still attainable.

I live in Australia and the coverage was fine. I watched almost every bit of the final round.
Live, Monday AM; sure, but every week, every PGA event, every Monday night (for years), the final round is replayed in full. This event: final round replay was replaced with first round highlights.
