Haha! I've been homeschooled my entire life and I love it!
Same!
Christian Taylor I plan to homeschool my 5 year old and I hope he still keeps his beautiful hair long like you by the time he hits your age.
I was homeschooled until a year ago and I want to kill myself.
Oh my gosh. The chemistry experiment mistaken for food almost happened at my house.
A fantastic comedic outlook. As a graduated homeschooler myself, I think this is awesome. Well done!
Great video! I am a proud home school alum who started college at 16 (no, those weren't high school classes taken in college), graduated when I was 20, went to grad school, started my career with the National Weather Service when I was 20 and am now happily married coming up on 10 years of service in the government. Everyone will tell you that I am the most social person they know and are shocked that I was home schooled. I thank my parents often for giving me the freedom of home schooling.
I can empathize with that story, though my teacher pushed me to the ground for not understanding math in grade 2.. That was in the 80's, but is still in the back of my mind.. My kids will begin HS soon, they will be far better off learning the valuable things in life and not distracted by the BS our society pushes on them. Home school may not be for everybody, but my kids will excel because of it.
I like the way that tiny boy says "Nope!" in his tiny voice! :)
As a first year homeschooling mom...I have to say I am glad you brought all of this to my attention. :)
Wow. So many in the comments missed the point of this video. They must be in public school.
Savagemister 😂😂😂😂😂😂
We love Homeschooling. This is a great little video. Made me smile. :)
Hahahahaha, well done, so well done and funny!!! Homeschooling is definitely 'hazardous' for a homeschooling mum like me too, because I don't get to share the same topic with the other mums who send their kids to public / private / Catholic schools. All they talk about is complaints about the school or the teachers which I naturally I don't have, and about the kids who behave badly due to peer pressures, which my kid doesn't have either. I miss out on these social topics due to homeschooling! Warning!
How am I just seeing this now?!
That little boy's "nope!" is so cute. Great video, nice humor.
If you're depressed and lonely, get out of your house and talk to people! My kids get out way more than kids that are in school.
It's not that easy luv. Not if you don't live in a neighborhood and are terrified of asking your parents to do anything. Your kids may be okay but a lot kids aren't.
Great video. Glad I decided to home school my twins. I hope they turn out as lovely as you guys obviously did with all the dangers you faced...ha ha.
I love it! I am homeschooling my 5 yr old and maybe one day she'll be doing great funny videos like this one! She actually is making lots of videos on the iPhone already... :)
Hey, that's an awesome start! Congrats on homeschooling, and congrats to your daughter for being homeschooled. ;)
Anna Sanclement I have a 5 year old too that will be homeschooling soon.
Awesome! Love your sense of humor on a very serious subject to the uneducated (probably public school education) population.
Love how she was absent-mindedly reading as she walked around and got "food" out. Used to do that all the time.
Just found your channel and it wasn't what I was expecting but was funny and entertaining. :)
Love BrokenLensProductions; keep it comin' guys!!
Braden! It was awesome! Just what I imagined! Can't wait for more. Sharing your link with all of our homeschooling friends (and those who have thought about it).
Braden, I've never commented before on your videos, but I want you to know that I've seen them all. You've got a great sense of humor.
Please help me understand, though, how someone who stays home and lounges around the house all day in his pajamas, rather than going to school, can be so smart and develop so much talent. Same goes for your siblings.
My children are two of your biggest fans, Braden! Keep up the AWESOME work!
Y'all always make me laugh!! Keep up the good work!
this is great! thanks for sharing your talent. I home school my grandchild.. so far awesome! Wish you well.
We read a lot of Charles Dickens. :p
Thanks, Mr. Kershaw! Glad you've enjoyed it.
I enjoyed watching this. Im a Homeschool mother of 5 children. You have a way of putting it. And yes, our lives can get this way sometimes.
Loved this video my dad watched it several times:) Also in response to someone saying homeschoolers are rich and spoiled, and parents not getting jobs, my dad works long and hard hours, and my mom puts a lot of time into doing this for us. And being a homeschooler I know that yes sometimes public schoolers are really smart, but it is true about us being able to talk to people outside of our own little age group.
That was super funny! I am homeschooled, and I get everything you said lol, but of course I would not trade it for almost anything :D
Wow. I never knew my lifestyle was so wrought with intense danger and possible humiliation! Thank you for enlightening me, Braden.
Great videos. Keep up the great work - you make us homeschoolers proud! :)
Great, great video! I love the together time for my family of boys - thanks for a fun video!
lol! love it! the sarcasm is funny! you can totally teach the kids at their own pace. so true, so true.
You are a hoot! thanks from a homeschool mom for a good laugh. Looking forward to more.
You made my day!!! Thank you :0)
Public school is a must....
Asking a total stranger for permission to use restroom....trains good reflexes in obedience to authority ...
LOVE it!!! I have three sons. We homeschool and always have. It's been a great experience and I love your humor about it being so "dangerous"! We laugh at such dangers....hahahaha *in my best villian voice*
That was awesome. Bravo sir, bravo!
I'm so glad I watched this vid about the dangers of homeschool
This video is so great. If no one can see the sarcasm, then watch again.
EXCELLENT Production!
Wow. Great use of satire! That was awesome. Good video. Subscribed!
20,000+ views! Congrats, Braden and company! Love your videos immensely.

Excellent, you're great!!
At first I took this video seriously.. I quickly learned that it was a spoof. Bravo! I enjoyed this!
as a homeschool mom I can tell you that just because we homeschool does not make us rich. I have learned a lot of interesting and ingenious ways of cutting corners financially to make it an option for me to keep my kids at home. I have also worked in the public schools and have a fairly good idea of how things work there and education that my kids would be getting there.
There are pros and cons to homeschooling. I personally love taking classes out of the house once a week and it definitely helps me learn how to handle my work. (And yes, I do get out of the house more then that). My brother goes to public school and enjoys it. Yes he has his troubles, and yes I have mine too. I may be slightly sheltered, but in a way I'm glad I was so I could get my beliefs and foundations set before entering this crazy world.
And really enjoyed the video, btw. :)
love this video thanks.
This is spectacular!!! :D
Love this!
I have 4 kids and have done private, religious, public, and cyberschooling and by far unschoolng has been the most fulfilling.. They are able to follow their interests until they are exhausted. Private school was the next in line but far too expensive for far less than they were able to do on their own. Imagine having a teacher who is concerned with you and your interests exclusively. There is nothing better than a teacher dedicated to only you and the world is your classroom.
Well, one of our recent videos, "Socialized = Girlfriends", sorta deals with that issue, although we may go more in depth on that subject later on. Thanks for watching!
I find that homeschoolers are often more outwardly social. They are more comfortable around groups of people that they don't know. I know, for me, I was able to adjust really well. I used to have crippling social anxiety.
Great!!! Loved it!!!
The acting is quite good...even with the little children! So cute!
Awesome! Love it.
I'm homeschooled, at the homeschooling sarcasm in this video...It's beyond words...
I'm homeschooled and this is sooooooo true I have 7 other siblings and it's so noisy all the time!!!!! But soon I'm starting public school!!!
Abigail Merritt good for you I'm a dumb homeschooler but am going public soon as well
Abigail Merritt but your smarter than me like everybody else
This is gold.
Excellent video!!
I'm homeschooled and can totally relate. This is so funny! And your little brother is adorable:)
You crack me up! thank you :-)
Awesome video, one of my favourites! :D All your funny videos are that awesome it warranted me adding UA-cam to my profile just so I could comment and say so. :D I'd love to see more homeschool related videos like these. And I was told Americans didn't get our humour... Could they have been more wrong? :D
This is awesome. I love it. =]
Love this! So funny!!
Exactly what determines education in public and private schools.
I love this!
This is so true. I switched to regular school in high school. best decision i ever made.
lol, I'm homeschooled too, its not all fun and games! This guy is funny
I think ya'll don't really know what it's like to be home-schooled. I have been home-school up 'till this year, and I was a year ahead. I hate public schools, they suck. I have a lot of friends, but public school doesn't give me enough time for them. I actually got to do a lot more when I was homeschooling than now when I go to public school. I have better grammar and vocabulary than at least most of the kids in my classes (I just chose to use North Carolina substitutes for this post). I future, I hope ya'll know what you're talking about before you start talking about it.
LOVE IT!!
You are actually very right.
Awesome!
Great video! Funny how people are so quick to assume that homeschoolers cannot get a good education. Sure maybe there are some parents out there that are not good at homeschooling but I had my fair share of teachers that had no idea how to teach or manage youth. Chances are if a parent is dedicating their time to homeschooling they are looking out for their kids best interest. I encountered many kids that couldn't socialize in the school system - I think that behavior is individual, not learned.
Love it!
Serious presentation style to argue non-serious considerations regarding a serious subject, the way i like it.
I also do K12, I got kicked out of school because I have behavior problems and K12 isn't making anything better! People tell me if you don't do education you have no future, Oh?! I can't even learn, I don't like it, I can't do it even if I sit down I won't listen and I don't give a care about stupid education that destroys ideas! I want to be an actor when I grow up and I hear they are many mentally ill actors that also did bad things in school! These people that say if you don't go to school you have no life should think again!
***** I am sorry you've had a hard time so far with learning. I think it is very important to learn but I also know how hard K12 online highschool can be.
Good luck for the future :)
Sean64550 good luck for your future but I personally believe that public school is best in the long run, and in most cases even in the present
Loved Your Video.
AWSOME!
️Hahaha that was great😂 I was homeschooled straight through and am well aware of the dangers😂😂😂
I can definitely see the dangers. haha. Especially the bullying. ;)
Very cute video, good points, and you are quite charismatic. Well done.
"nope!" d'awwwwww
Good job!
Really made me laugh! I homeschool my son and most of the time I'm exhausted but wouldn't trade it for anything!
I'm homeschooled, soon going public, but from experience homeschooling doesn't teach enough valuable skills, and though motivation is already kind of a problem in real school, it's an even BIGGER problem for the average homeschooler
Okay, first list the valuable skills you haven't learned. Second, motivation is solely based on your attitude about school. It's true that most people have motivation problems, but it's because we ourselves aren't really trying. I've learned a bunch of skills from homeschooling that I wouldn't have learned in public school. Honestly, if you like public school better and you think it's more beneficial then that's fine, but don't say that you haven't learned anything from it. I learned how to be more independent and set a schedule for myself. It was hard, and still is, but I'm still working to get better. It just takes time.
I don't feel I am better than everyone else. I'm not bullying anyone. I'm an autistic, dyslexic person. I fought hard to learn to read and produce proper grammar, not to mention spelling. I learned how to say what I want, and do it well. This qualifies me to bluntly say no one has the right to judge anyone.
Really liked your video and am sharing it on my hub page about homeschooling for less the $100/year
Where did you get that wonderful stove!? Feeding this small family of 8 is really hard on our little one and we are looking to upgrade :)
I'm glad you are understanding me. If you have to sacrifice grammar in order to get what you wish to say across, then you are not concise enough to tutor second graders. Science requires grammar skills to be done properly. Math does as well.
love it! (homeschool mom of 4 years)
My teen daughter is begging to be home schooled. As a parent it is much easier to drop her off at school and have the day to myself free from kids. I love my kid so I am seriously thinking about teaching her at home. I would rather she stay in school for my own sanity but why would it hurt to give a try and see if we can do it, who knows it might work out for the best. If not then back to school she goes. Never hurts to try a different method.
Also want to state that my daughter was copying in school from day one because she did not want to be kept in after class in her break. I call this bullying. Sadly not the schools fault because if they do not pass the school checks they are in serious trouble with the Council! She was making up words when forced to read outloud and felt ashamed. She was made fun of by her whole class because she did not know her tables. She was bullied because she was small for her age.
As far as expense for home school goes... Public schools receive 20k a year per student through local, state, federal, and homeowner taxes. I don't think it would be too much to ask for half of that amount to be given to parents every year who choose to home school for curriculum and field trips and other learning tools.
Haha! I love this video! So accurate.
Thank you for directing me to this site. I have reviewed the arguments on this blog (about Craig) and they all seem to hinge on one claim: that not all things that come into being have a cause. In this article the argument for his claim are fallacious. Saying that Scientist do not know that anything caused a certain atom to do something, and this means there is no cause, is an appeal to ignorance. His second claim is simply another of the same fallacy. This argument doesn't prove Craig wrong.
Yep, that's the face I make when Barney's on. THE HORROR.
LOVE IT :)
Great job! I think I know those shooters!!!
cont.
5. $10,000 per child per year for state schools-yes, that's #1 world wide for the cost of state education (primary and secondary, not college).
6. State aptitude scores average 50, homeschoolers mid 80s. (No advantage for "privileged", no disadvantage for "underprivileged".)
7. State educators are one of the top professions to private school their OWN children.
8. Yolk you and your family to like minded people-those who will succeed in life.
9. It costs you less in school clothes/etc.
She was laughed at for her asthma cough. I left school with no qualifications. I have owned three properties. I made my way up to Managing Directors PA. And now the Government demand I take some stupid qualification to get a job which of course costs money in their pocket. 15 years as a secretary is not good enough. Normal Schools should come with a health warning as it causes anxiety in children and even worse. Look at Amanda Todd and others. Education has not protected them!
Great video
