LOL, this is so true. I always just go for the two-second front hug, with a little back pat, and then it's done, and since all the people I hug know that, it usually isn't awkward. There's just the occasional awkwardness of both of us putting our heads to the same side so our faces almost run into each other.

Haha, it's never awkward with me and my friends, because we pretty much have a system...girls can hug however we want, because we love each other and it's never awkward, guys usually do the high five into one-armed hug thing, and guys and girls always do cross hugs. It's a good system! :D
