  • Hearts are gross. They just are. So why has this internal organ become the universal symbol for all things romantic?

    My laughter was building up through the whole thing. I was choking and crying and then you said, "Follow your heart" and that thought sent me in stitches! I had to stop the video! XD

    Wow. You're new camera is amazing! *loves* And this video... Wow. It's awesome. I nearly spit out my smoothie because I was laughing at the squishy heart song. I always seem to have food or beverage in my mouth when I need to burst out laughing... Anywho! Great job on this one, guys! Loved it :) With all my intestines.

    This. Is. Awesome. The song is...fantastic. And the hat looks great on you.
    And yes, the video quality is really nice. I like it a lot. The lighting might be a little off...you look really pale, but your cheeks are pretty red, but otherwise it's perfect. And of course, funny as ever!

    Hahaha, I completely lost it at "I spleen you..."! The video quality seems to have definitely improved, but I might be a little biased...I'm a die-hard 60D fan. :)

    You seem to have a heart-as-love-symbol fixation.
    Also, the video looks really nice! I don't know anything about cameras so I can't give any advice, though. :P

    I have been thinking the same thing for years. although I can see why it is a good body part, because that is what keeps us going. and I do imagine having your Heart broken would be very painful.

    And yeah, we'll definitely be using the ladies more often now. ;)

    Another thing to think about is if the guy who received the heart transplant got a woman's heart would he love to shop? (It's assumed that woman love to shop.) Actually, it really happened to my Grandfather after his heart transplant (he received a woman's heart). For a month or longer after being dispatched from the hospital, he love to shop. So maybe the heart does have something to do with love.

    "It's a big, rubbery, pulsating mass of muscle..." Yes, definitely hilarious. I would personally have thought the appendix a good replacement for the famous symbol of romance, seeing as it isn't quite as important as the heart... :D

    In ancient times it was commonly thought that the heart was the center of our beings and therefore all thought came from there, rather than from our brains. (To be fair to our ancestors, hearts, with the constant beating and all, do demand more attention than our brains, so you would think it would be a more intelligent organ.) The concept of loving "from the heart" caught on from there and society just never dropped it.
    Pardon me for the long historical explanation, my homeschooler is showing.

    Moreover, "It's a big, rubbery, pulsating mass of muscle..." well, actually in Ezekiel 36:26 it is stated that "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." So before a person is a christian, they have a heart of stone. I really think your video was hilarious!!!!!! I love all the broken lens productions!!!!!!

    i liver your videos... ya that sounds awkward! but what about heart attacks! guess that would be a form of 'heart break' :o

  • @bethanyvictoryahf.415
    @bethanyvictoryahf.415 11 років тому

    In response to your statement about the heart being "intelligent," I couldn't agree more with you! However, when you compare the heart to the brain........Well......., I think it explains its self. I personally would rather use a more intellectual sounding organ as my symbol of love. Another thing to think about is if someone gets a heart transplant does he or she have to retrain that "new" heart to love again?
