Ryan Fears his current tone is fine in the studio, but live, not so much, partially because he doesn't mic his amps. And I think that his old setup blows the doors off his current one. And I don't understand why he didn't go back to his old setup with the Strats and Mesas and Marshalls when Blink got back together. Because, that setup fit Blink pretty well, and his setup with the Voxes and Fenders is more suitable for AVA
His guitar sounds like crap now since he runs straight to PA. He’s not getting the full tone of the AC 30 and because of that, and he is losing low end. Now it sounds like he is playing through a radio with a crappy mic the whole time. Some times so band that you can’t even hear the guitar.
