Tom quit the band to be with his family I really respect that. I couldn’t imagine not being around for the pregnancy, birth, early years of my daughter. He probably felt terrible because he wasn’t around enough for his daughter and when his wife was pregnant with his son the self titled album touring was over with and he didn’t want to jump in to start an album then the next 3 years he would be contracted for the album and then big tours. Plus blink was at the point where taking a year or 2 off would not matter at all they got to the level where they will never fall off so no reason to not take a break your kids are only young once.
idk i just feel like during this time period he was trying to convince himself of how happy he was with ava. hes said in multiple interviews during this time that hes the happiest hes ever been but usually you dont need to say that if ur truly happy. i think he was trying to convince himself ava was gonna be better than blink. i like ava theyre a good band but blink is literally legendary
so I wonder if he's already ready to see his family less again. Because both blink and AVA are the top of their game...and he has a bunch of things to take care of.I bet the thing is much more stressful now than it was back in 2005,but I guess Tom is much happier now too.
the guitar he is holding is his 3 and a half thousend dollar gibson signature. the epiphone has a darker and different shaped headstock. that is only 499.99
@testnumberone1 There two songwriters in blink mate, don't forget Mark. He still loves fast and dirty, he proved that in +44 and with the new blink single 'Hearts all gone'. There will still be fast stuff. Tom even said in a newer interview that they had not forgotten their punk rock roots. :)

@p00123456789 well theres a video somewhere where he is doing some moves, just small scenes. think u should look through the blink 182 road home by mtv. furthermore, there is a small vid where he does at least a 180 in a venue...before all is set up.
i kinda get the same thing as him i go to pop punk but when i listen to angels and airwaves i switch to that but if i listen to pop punk i switch back its weird lol

i think when youre happier you ONLY want to tell everyone. also AVA was so that he could spend more time with family, so he was prob happier

he plays a gibson. his line of signature guitars is on epiphone but his guitars are gibsons. But u can find gibson tom delonge guitars overseas.
