Cool vid, I have a 2427 Sekonda auto I want to service as the top capstone fell into the works and I also have stacks of wonky keyless works 2428's sitting in a tub where they have gotten stuck on time setting and can't be wound. I'm a Soviet watch collector but I grew up with mechanical Sekonda's and didn't fall to pieces like the crappy Timex's of the 70's did, wearing a Sekonda alarm right now, abs love the brand :) The biggie I want to do is my Chaika Stadium which was a brilliant timekeeper then suddenly started losing time, nudged it on the regulator but still going slow then normal then slow so guess something is gummed up in there and its unlikely its ever been serviced in its 40 plus years.
Nice vid Kaz, hoping to service one myself very soon. just wondering though, at about 1.34 you skipped the part where you attached the plate with a spring and lever assembly fitted to the underside. just before you added the date wheel? can you explain how you fit the spring and lever? also, is there any set up or alignment needed for the day date wheels? I've not serviced a day date watch yet. Thanks in advance

At about 49min 45 seconds approximately you skip forward a couple of stages!!!!!!!! Which did not help a beginner like myself who is using your video to rebuild a Slava 2428 for the first time!!! Lol... I'm sure I can work out them stages if nothing too technical was left out? Otherwise it was a helpful video so far..

Hi, i put a tiny amount of grease on the flat part of the lever and it stops it dropping off the plate.
