Great video. I opened up a seized pump from a 1958 Edsel Pacer today. Got the pump working by cleaning it. Motor brushes were fine, so I'll just try to find the correct size o-rings. Thanks for uploading this! It was very helpful.
Sir, as of today...knock on wood, the cylinders are not leaking. However, if they do I will be sure to video the repair process. I've never done it before but it can't be too difficult. thanks for watching...and sorry for the quality of that video...it sucked!!
If I understand u correctly, u could remove the bolt but accessing will be challenging. Also, if u remove the bolt then you’ve the fastener that holds the pump reservoir in place and it’s highly likely that it will separate from the pump and create a mess of oil/ trans fluid. I would suggest to simply remove be it. It’s easy and straight forward and I can replace the other o rings very easily.
It was a kit per se. I removed all the seals on the pump then Took them to my local Napa parts store and we matched each o ring individually. Cost me only a few dollars.
got it. my first ever video...My kids blasted me for it. hasn't happen since! thanks for watching the video. i hope it helped despite the poor quality. cheers!

Can I change the rubber washer that mounts to the main bolt with out removing the pump? My pump is leaking at the bolt.
