Hi, thx for the in depth introduction. I have a question. Is it possible to place a 11 inch iPad on the tray and even visible? Reading the specs I'm not very hopeful... I like this though because no other promoter is so practically foldable as this. Thanks for letting me know
I posted the image as seen with an iPad mini on my community posts page. With a larger iPad could see the reflection and depending on the weight of the case it should work but I fear the edges of the script would be off the side of the screen. This would work with any phone just fine though assuming the teleprompter app you chose has an ability to size the font up. I have a nice glide gear but due to size I reach for this thing 99% of the time
The audio (after treatment) sounds great. Please do a video on what you did to the room. And congrats on hitting 10K subscribers. Well done. Do you get a UA-cam plaque now?
There's not a recording studio here in Nashville that doesn't use a combo of COTS and DIY. I do think too many people focus on the video (pun intended) and pay short shrift to the quality of the sound. Yet viewers will put up with substandard video and bail if the audio is crap--particularly long form.
It really hasn't. I imagine if you have a loose fitting mount it would pull down on it. Nothing that is goign to cause a problem on the average camera though.
Doesn't the autofocus motor of the lens get affected due to the weight of the teleprompter. I read in a couple of reviews that this teleprompter affects the lens' functionality as the autofocus might struggle being fit into the larger ring, then into the teleprompter. Please share if you've experienced something similar.
Zero issue with Auto focus, typically with Aroll it's a static shot prefocused on the speaker. Haven' had it influence my shots and I've been using it for several years now. I have a very nice glide gear TMP100 but 99% of the time I just roll with the LensGo. Crazy I know but it really works that well :)
I am having difficulty finding the teleprompter app for the lensgo TC7 When I scan the QR code it doesn't work and when I type in the search it takes me somewhere crazy. What is the app you use?

@@johnsfilmsllc I'd like to rephrase the question. What's the maximum size of a tablet that would fit on the tray without losing the text on the sides? I see its smaller than the 11" M1 iPad, but it may work if the sides of the text wouldn't be cut at the edges. Have you tried with bigger display than a phone? The key improvement in this device is the foldability which is unique. Normally they are bulky and clumsy as you've shown. I wonder if the Chinese had enough brains to make a bigger model. So far I can't find such.

Thanks Henry!! No plaque till 100k :( I think a video on the treatments is a great idea. Especially since it's a combo of DIY and purchased tiles :)

Does it work with my 15-45 kit lens? And does the roof appear?
It should fit if the diameter of your particular lens is on the box. The roof appears on the wide end of my 16-35 but otherwise is not an issue

What is the remote used for?
It’s a standard Bluetooth remote you can pair with your phone and use to advance or scroll back the teleprompter software
Does this work witha 16mm or any wide angle lens, does the roof come on the view of thee 16mm?
With my 16-35gm I have to zoom in…you can def see it…

Does the glass affect the image quality?
In a case where you create high glare on the glass sure but I haven’t had any issues with IQ with it

Yep will work with any display you can flip and reflect. The app they suggest does both iPad and android
