I've used the teleprompter premium app a lot with the front camera and it's great, but still the lesser quality of the camera sort of bugs me. Anyway, thanks again for all the content. Hello Justin, just found you tonight looking for MIC info. I was watching some of your 2 to 3 year old videos. Then I find this one, AND YOUR AUDIO SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER! What are you using now? Why does your audio sound SO much better than your older videos? I have a Mac Studio Ultra, UA apollo twin x for my audio interface, and will be using OBS to shoot three 4K cams and Final Cut Pro for editing. Looking to buy a Lav MIC setup this weekend, as the RODE NTG5 I'm trying picks up WAY too much of the outside noise. THANK YOU for your fantastic content... SUBSCRIBING!
Thank you! I’m constantly testing new gear but what I’m using right now is the RØDE videomic ntg. I’m not happy with the sound treatment and echo in the room so you can hear some of that coming through in the video but it’s not bad.

Exactly what I needed. Been using a different one (one that comes to the top when you go to the Play store), and it was great for awhile, and then sound started to be inconsistent, then voice/video sync.. and just today, the video itself is distorted. I'm a big fan of Teleprompter Premium. My only issue is, I typically have a production assistant run the teleprompter from a wireless keyboard. The left and right arrows adjust the speed, but if you hit the up arrow, it goes to the very top of the script. So if I need to back the script up just a little bit, either my assistant or I have to walk up to the camera and scroll back on the iPad itself, which gets really old. Is there a button that I don't know about that can move the script backward slowly?
I was cleaning out my Watch Later list on my phone last week. At the very end of the list (of over 400 videos!) was your earlier video about teleprompters from a while back. I had not thought about using my phone as a teleprompter but that video got me chasing it down. I downloaded a couple of the iPad apps (the camera on the Air 2 turned out to not be as clear as my Samsung S20) but I did spend a lot of time testing the iPad apps. I ended up settling with the Nano Teleprompter on my Android. The price for that app is WAY too low for the functionality it provides! It was an easy decision to spend the $3.99 for it.
Using a teleprompter has revolutionized my speed of producing a video. I created a nine-minute video for my website earlier this year without a teleprompter and it took HOURS to memorize the four-page script and get it recorded decently. The teleprompter frees my mind to easily add inflections and movement during the reading. The teleprompter is a tremendous time-saver!
I am so thankful I stumbled across this video! I can churn out scripts and get videos up on UA-cam much faster now! Thank you, Justin and team!
Ok - interesting software. But what about a mount and camera setup like we see you using? How much would it be for something like that?

The 2nd one has the main important feature, I'm sick of my teleprompter not being controllable. The remote doesn't work with the app that came with my teleprompter lol.
Do any of these have the option to import a text file from the device? Having to cop paste or retype the script is obnoxious when I'm reading a book.
Also wish there were prices for people that don't make money.... I don't mind $5, but certainly not $40 or $100! That's food money.
I love that there's a lot of different control and remote options for it too

I’m having issues with Teleprompter Premium. I have a DJI mic 2 and though it is connecting, the mic is not allowing me to record. Anyone know if DJI is compatible with this app?
Are there any IOS Teleprompter apps that have speed control that you can embed in the script itself?
But how do we use it? Don't need a sales pitch.
I'm trying to watch this video but it is not playing. Anyone knows why? It is not on my end because I can watch other videos, but this one shows as if I have finished watching it and won't play again (even though I've not watched it).
Is it still free? The website says free. It directs you to app store - which then asks for a tenner?
I tried to download Teleprompter Premium but it says i cant because it's made for an older version of Android

I want to use a teleprompter in a church service to see my PowerPoint slides and maintain eye contact. All using a webcam. The teleprompter needs it be about 19 inches in size. My monitor comes from a computer and not an iPad. I need the display to go to the mirror of the teleprompter. Ant ideas

Basically, the best is Nano Teleprompter, except if you are hooked to the Mac ecosystem.
How long since you checked prices. Not even in the ballpark for Teleprompter Premium $US59.99 yearly.

Unfortunately, Teleprompter Pro is now $59/year or $159 lifetime. Out of my price range and I’d love to have those features.
They did release a cheaper version under a different name too now.

Of course it doesn't occur to you that MOST people in the world will not speak English. So it doesn't even remotely occur to you mentioning what languages the promptsmart supports for voice
I'm here to help you narrow the options down to a few to make it easier for you. I cannot cover every feature or setting, or compatible language for that matter. I hope this video still helped you. If one of these sounds like a fit you can go to their websites to check extra stuff like language if yours is different to mine.

But the English language does not come by default to people, like walking or eating. See, I’m writing to you in English because it’s the only language you understand, unlike you who write to me in English because it’s “your /only/ language”. I hope you see a pattern here. The point is that you didn’t even make any mention of “English” in your video. So my suggestion would be: next time you cover something related with “language” or “voice” try to think proactively. You can’t treat language as something implicit like taste or colour. You need to be specific about the language. The fact you used the English language to carry the message should not preclude anything about the features of what you are describing.
