Couldn't agree more with you, I thought that this one was a little more varied than the madness of Firepower but I think that's what makes it slightly better for me personally. Having said that though, I really do love Firepower haha! Thanks for checking the video out :)
Short and sweet. This album is an absolute monster dude. Mr Halford is in his 70s! Let that sink in when you listen to his performance. Painkiller style screams at 72, it's pretty incredible.
I know right?! I couldn't imagine being able to do that - I'm half his age and can barely hold a note haha! Are you enjoying the slightly shorter format? I find it very difficult because I love to blab but I'm actually finding it very enjoyable and means that I can cover a couple of things too!
Quality - I've always been on the sidelines with Priest, but this sounds like a total banger. It'll go nicely with the Saxon and Blaze Bayley albums that I've been listening to this year. Hope all is well buddy! S.
Oh mate, absolutely fantastic record! I'm really keen to see what you think of this one because I think you might be a big fan. Saxon were supporting them alongside Uriah Help when I saw them at Wembley and that Saxon record is definitely a dark horse for me! Excellent bands for different reasons but let me know what you think of Invincible Shield dude! Thanks for all the support as ever
Thanks so much mate! I thought that this record was more similar to the likes of Painkiller and Screaming For Vengeance with that level of technicality and melody - it just has a bit of an edge on Firepower but that being said, I really loved Firepower when it came out but for me it's all about a good, shredding guitar solo haha!
Totally understand that and it’s a small gap between them for me. This new one is brilliant. The other two you mention are among my favourites too. Painkiller is my favourite and the first time I saw them live on that tour.
Absolutely amazing record.
Couldn't agree more! 72 and still rocking out. It's the perfect combination of old and new here I think. What a fantastic band eh!
Fanstastic album, love both Firepower and this new one.

Great review and totally agree. Maybe not quite the behemoth Firepower was but bloody close. Amazing for a band so late in their career.

Killer album
a little-known indie band called Judas Priest. If you are not familiar with Judas Priest you live under a rock lol
Hahahaha yeah man that’s very true 🤣🤣
@@TheMetalTris i agree with what you said about Firepower it was good but a safe album in sound.
