  • First real trail riding on my Fuji Jari 1.1 gravel bike set up with FSA NS 650b wheels running 1.9" Panaracer Gravelking SKs. Rough roots and rocks were a bit more sketchy riding in the drops, but climbing and cruising dirt was quite fun! Truly, this is an adventure bike.

Looks like fun. How is the clearance on the 48mm SK tires? I'm just waiting on a 15mm->12mm adaptor so I can try my SKs on a 650b wheelset I picked up.

it's pretty tight on the rear chainstays. You can see this at about 13 seconds in on the video. You won't be disappointed in the ride. The SKs are a little sketchy on wet roots and rocks and mud, but other than that, they roll so well. I have a pair of Terrene Elewood 650b tires that I won at Keystone Gravel this year. They have a bit more bite and side knob so that may be even better all around.

Besides the 650b tires & wheels what kind of set up do you have with this bike?

It's pretty much a mountain bike that can cruise like a road bike. I have no problem averaging 18-20 mph on roads with this set up.

Yes. The bike is capable of 700c X 40mm tires but with 650b it can accommodate up to 48mm tires. Fuji did a nice job of making a very capable bike at a great price point.
