Lenovo needs to learn from Apple and Samsung: when you release a new product have your accessories such as keyboards and cases available when said product is released.
true, usually i buy their stuff and then they release a better version or one with keyboard right after i already bought one lol
@@FishBeeProductions Lenovo makes really nice products, not knocking them at all (just recevied my Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 last week and it's very good!) but they really need to get certain logistics ironed out if they really want to make a name for themselves in the Android tablet world. The only thing I was able to buy was the Precision Pen 3 and the Folio cover direct from China and it was for their version of the P11 Pro but still fits perfectly. I'm waiting on they keyboard case cover but no one stateside carries it.

What Lenovo has to learn from Apple and Samsung is how to promote their devices...one of greatest tablet of the market and nearly no tests in media!

I would like to ask you if the PC-Mode of your tablet is working correctly. Is it? I have been hearing some comments that people are having difficulties with the PC-Mode when up-dating to ZUI-14. I heard that it (PC-Mode) just disappears from the menu when you up-date the interface to ZUI-14. Have you heard anything like this?

Get a USB-C hub with HDMI and PD passthrough.
It supports TV out, but mouse is required for extended screen.
Precision Pen 2 is NOT supported.
P11 screen protector can be used

Precision Pen 3 is required if you'd like to use Precision Pen 2 (it can be used after the unit paired with Precision Pen 3)

Question about the Precision pen 3 with P11 gen 2. How often do you have to charge it? Does it wireless charge? Does it fit with the folio or keyboard pen slot?
Yes it charges on the back similar to s pen on Samsung. I don't have the folio or keyboard to test unfortunately.

Does the type cover from gen 1 works with this smaller gen 2 version or is there a type cover for gen 2? The Lenovo support is very bad for private customers.
It's different and not available yet from what I've seen
Gen 1 case can be used temporarily, but it's loose in height but gen2 is a bit thicker

hi there, does the unit come with a stylus pen off the box? and if not, does it natively support 3rd party pens? like does it have palm detection etc. kinda thingy? I want to get one but if I can't sketch on it properly then it's just going to be another big screened android phone for me.
doesn't come with one unfortunately, works good with precision pen 3, maybe not quite as good as an s pen from samsung but still better than capacitive stylus or active pen

Snapdragon 870 is better. You even pay extra on P11 Pro Gen 2 to get it.
@@ligametis it's true, 870 is a little more powerfull...maybe you will get 10% more FPS on a couple of games...nothing that will bother you that much. But Kompanio 1300T has hardware AV1 video decorder...that's a killing features for streaming! even 8+ Gen 1 or Apple A16 hasn't!... I wait some many time for such a tablet in my country!
@@gillest9432 there are many other benefits to sd870 version on that p11 pro. AV1 won't be important for 3-4 years to come while 870 is just smoother, even cpu performance is better.
On 870 you get 10bit screen support, 1300t doesn't have that. You get fingerprint reader, +2gb ram, better ufs 3.1 storage, faster charging.
I bet 870 will be enough for streaming. We won't suddenly jump to av1 if even 8 gen 1 doesn't support it.
1300t doesn't have optimised drivers, some games get like half fps.
@@ligametis I have a 8/256Go...I confirm screen is HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 100% DCI-P3...some have HDR10+ issues on UA-cam but it's only software (strangely, I haven't). I confirm storage is UFS3.1 too, tested over 1300MB/s...
I think 2022's model haven't fingerprint reader on both Kompanio and Snapdragon versions...2021's model has...but screen is known for it's lower quality.

AV1 support is not a detail, it is already heavilly spread...even if information isn't well spread by media.
You can find AV1 support nearly everywhere...on PC , nearly every TV since 2021, Chromebook, TV Box, TV Stick...
I repeat, nearly all TV since more than 1 year and a half!
Hardware solutions come from Intel (core i Gen 12), AMD (RX6600 and over), NVIDIA (RTX30xx), Realtek, Novatek, Broadcom, Amlogic, Rockchip, Mediatek, Samsung (Exynos 2100, 2200), Google (Tensor)...everybody except Apple and Qualcomm.
TV manufacturers aren't allowed to release TV without AV1 support with Android TV10 or higher.
Others TV OS support it (Vidaa on Hisense's, Tizen on Samsung's, webOS on LG).
Google will force support on devices released with Android 14 (they probably didn't it earlier because they need some LTE/5G licence from Qualcomm)
For 37.99€ you can find Fire TV Stick 4 Max that supports it, for 39.99€ Chromecast HD with Google TV supports it.
Chrome (and Chrome based Opera or Vivaldi), Firefox, Edge support it
UA-cam, Netflix already support.
This will explode as it's a free codec...streaming platforms will heavilly save costs.
I have never seen any format so massively support by so much companies...(even Apple is part of Alliance for Open Media...but they used to keep features for their future devices)
Qualcomm isolated and won't be able to stop anything...their partnership for MPEG5 (with patents) lead them to a defeat...they admit it with 8 Gen 2!

try to get it somewhere else, its the best one for this tablet and a capacitive stylus won't be as good

not that i noticed yet but it did have an issue with youtube opening what looked like a mobile version a couple times when in landscape mode, luckily it hasn't done that here recently

@@Ben-rf7yyJust tested my TB132FU with USB C to monitor and it worked. With an HDMI out through a hub it should work too. Make sure you get the Android 13 update (started rolling out today)

I have this P11 Pro Gen 2. I cannot tap and hold on open apps to get a split screen. All I get is "app info." What is the secret to getting the split screen?
if its been updated i believe you can go to recent apps and drag the app to one side or top/bottom to begin the split screen option and then choose another app

I really wish I knew the Chinese ROM doesn't support productivity mode before buying it. Instead it has study mode, which for me is far less useful...
hmm, haven't heard of that one but if it gets the new taskbar update like samsung (12L) that might be better (similar to my tab p12 pro video)
