This anime is amazing! Gorgeous animation and art, a beautiful soundtrack, voice acting that is so professional and sounds so real, a wide cast of characters, and a lot of action. This is so perfect... they nailed it!

Never have I seen fan made anime series that looked professional.
Also, did you ever thought that maybe the reason they don't put voices is that they want to keep the fact that they don't have voices when they speak in all games. Except Reimu, Marisa and Remilia, as they appeared in Nendoroid Generation with voices.
I always thought it was because it was one dude who couldn't afford hiring someone to voice act and didn't know anyone who would do it for free. Besides that "A Summer's Day Dream" has a full, high quality, and professional voice cast.
spoofsrocks13 "A Summer's Day Dream" has it own charm. Each character got their own professional seiyuu despite the animation being amateur (stated by wikis, not me). While this one has the type of an "Anime-based-on-games" type with quality animation.

+spongebobfan78 thats true the games are silent, but its not cause ZUN cannot hire anyone to do the voices, rather placing the dialogues in text makes the games feel nostalgic and easier to translate for fans , since the games itself are 2D anyways it makes them look kinda like the ones made for arcade systems too.

It's remarkably funny, watching this now compared to before I knew anything about Touhou. It all makes a lot more sense now, at any rate, though it's amusing how the final scene is more funny than menacing now, knowing the context of what's going on.

Reisen Udongein Inaba is my favourite character, and seeing as her eyes are one of her main abilities, I had to have a profile picture centered about that.
I read it as bother anyway, my brain instantly linked it as such. There was no need to make that second comment, everyone makes mistakes. To be fair I also hate Autocorrect, and I hate it being enforced on my Skype.
There's a fair amount of characters with red eyes, but I think only Reisen has Lunatic Eyes. Koishi was actually voted the top character earlier this year I think, or last year. So she's the most popular with the fans.

basially, I think this is how this going: First was the Perfect Cherry Blossom incident, then EOSD was explained as a past event after Subterranean Animism. POFV / STB (the episode right now) is also being explained as a past event, as it continues on with the Moriya Shrine makings its appearance in episode 6 (it's out and I watched it, though I don't have a link). It is most likely that they will skip the events. Imperishable Night (there was an animated PV for these series that kind of depicted IN already), and so maybe, just possibly right after this story, the epic revival of Byakuren will continue on (Can't wait or that part!!! :D). We'll see later what really happens.
the current event right now is MoF after IN, but why though. Didn't Reimu have a good relationship with Moriya Shrine,
Not bad, but not much of anything happened, unlike in all other episodes which usually had action of some kind. The animation is beautiful as usual though. It's sad that Pika no longer does the dubs, but the new voice actress is all around pretty good. My only gripe is that Yuuka's voice is too high, it doesn't match her appearance or presence.
