I am a 6 foot 6 inch 325 pound Black man. I was stationed in Germany for a long time; so I missed the return of the Charger to America. I came back in 2004 and immediately got a Lincoln Town Car; basically because I was trying to break my addiction to Autobahn speeds. I needed something that would feel very comfortable going slow. In 2011 someone rear-ended me and the insurance rental was a Charger. I was AMAZED at how comfortable I was in a 'sports car'. It took me until 2016, but I am lovin every minute of it. Man they really made that charger something special now. When it first came out in the 2000s i thought it was butt ugly. Now with the drls, new fascia and sharp body lines, its gorgeous
Wish it was true to the original nameplate, but they already have the Challenger so I get it. Ended up being a pretty good option if you want something a bit sporty but need 4 doors.

I respect your choice. I see way too many Challengers very little Chargers but I definitely go clutch all the way and this is why I have a manual transmission.
I’ve had an 08 sxt awd and currently own a 2010 rt and have loved both they definitely aren’t the fastest cars but are still tons of fun and with it being a 4 door the insurance isn’t bad at all, definitely worth it!
Just five months ago I purchased a brand new 2023 "Last Call" Charger GT PLUS in that awesome color "Sinamon Stick". Had no need for a Hemi as this would be used as my daily driver. The 3600 V6 has a decent 300 hp which is more than enough for this cars intended purpose. It's actually pretty quick and it's good on gas. Alcantara/leather interior with plenty of comfort, luxury and room.Handles and brakes very well and the Sinamon Stick color seriously POPS in direct sunlight.I'm a semi-retired car mechanic and even though a Hemi would have been nice, this reliable, 87 octane burning V6 is the smoothest engine in any 4 wheeled vehicle I ever owned ( out of about 40 cars/trucks/ suvs since my first in 1973).I have no regrets. Love this car!
Dope bro I just got my 2020 charger sxt v6 and I’m loving it😊 can’t wait to put rims on it some tint probably a spoiler/wing …but yea I love the look of the chargers
Whole reason I got my Charger Hellcat was to be able to share my passion with my family. Kids love it, super comfortable, and making close to 800 wheel on 91 now, can't beat that 👍
In 2018 bought a 2018 Challenger SXT. Loved the look. In March of last year had the Challenger at Dodge for an oil change, decided to walk the lot. In 3 hrs, I traded in the Challenger and left with a 2019 Charger RT, 5.7 Hemi, sunroof, heated/cooled seats, leather, telescoping steering wheel, 8.4" screen, etc. Octane Red. Everywhere I go, gas stations, shopping, restaurants, jobsites, I have the same responses-everyone wants one. Fun car to drive, had it up to 120, on SC roads that's definitely not a smart thing. (too much debris & potholes). Can't wait to pay this one off to upgrade to the next one. Keep 'em coming, Dodge!

I have a 2018 Octane red Hellcat, daily drive it, 23,000 miles and no issues. Absolutely love driving this car. It’s a little thirsty but what isn’t with that horsepower. Worth every drop of fuel
I like the challenger more than the charger because it still has a that modern retro look to it, but there's something about the charger that makes it look more menacing than the challenger and I freaking love that. I'd pick the charger if I were to pick one
I have a family and purchased the 2019 scat pack Stars and Stripes edition. I traded in my Lexus. It’s a bad ass car. You are buying the engine and transmission. It’s a drivers car. I wanted a car that I could feel. Something that was visceral in nature.
I got a 06 charger RT. Intake, exhaust, and a tune. Pretty quick. Haven't been to the track since my tune but I was running a 14.7 on a quarter mile. Not too bad, but again, heavy car. Then again, I also got almost 240,000 miles on her. Got the car off the lot too, brand new.

Cons: interior quality is ok, not great, you feel the weight on canyon roads, gas mileage is hilarious, modification parts are expensive. Overall, great car!
As a Charger owner, my only real complaint and possible deterrent from buying another one is that power in the 5.7 HEMI (Eagle) has remained unchanged for 11 years now. At least the 6.4 (Apache) got a 15 horse bump a few years after coming to the market. It should also be noted that the aftermarket support is not as heavy as some of the 2 door options named in this video. And yes, its heavy. But, if you know what you are doing... these big girls (named mine Charlene) will dance for you. Bag my groceries... not my ride.

11-14 chargers will always be the best 4 DOOR charger, I got an rt myself and I love it way more than the new ones. Way mor aggressive and menacing looking.
Buying my Pontiac G8 Thursday! Wanted one since I was 14 and finally getting one. I'd love to see a short vid on wanting to own a G8 or holden commodore since it's the same thing lmao
9:54 yeah good luck with that. when I went to go buy my charger 393 scat pack, they wouldn't let me test drive it, even after they ran my credit and saw that I could afford it. It wasn't until I started to get cold feet, with all the paperwork printed out, all i had to do was sign it, as I was ready to back out, they let me take it for a spin but I wasn't allowed to step on it. This was true for 4 different dealers that I visited. They simply won't let you test drive them. Of course these were new that I was looking at, maybe used they might.
This opening gave me chills! Even just my 12 Charger R/T is a blast to drive. Sure, it may not be the fastest muscle car out there, but with headers and exhaust it's one of the meanest sounding and does do some pretty nice burnouts!
Parker Abrego not a whole lot of after market support for the challenger aside from the rims and tires. Got bored with my ‘15SRT after a year. Now I got that bmw 328i and this bitch is just a blast
The last time I liked Chrysler product was 1973. I was in the USAF and met a guy from Arkansas named Jody who own a mid 13s Cuda, painted butterscotch and I loved the sound of it. I'm from North Carolina and live about 40 miles north of Richard Petty and the Sox and Martin drag racing team. I love the Chrysler cars and their sound. I lived down the street from Bud Ziglers garage. When the big blocks started fitting into the midsize it was on. I turned 10 in 1964 so I got to see a lot of cars. Back to the Cuda, butterscotch. There were two auto maker's cars I had driven at that time, Chevy and Ford. I loved GM products and their steering, didn't like Ford. Jody let me drive his Cuda and once it drove it a bit, the thrill was gone. Like the Ford steering, too loose. There were also in my opinion a QC issues. Too many people I knew that had Chrysler products also had too many quality, break downs, parts falling off. My son in law has a 2017 Charger and at about 80,000 miles has had to have the 5.7 replaced. Love the sound but not the car.
@@FitmentIndustries well it’s all black with a red leather interior, so color is fine for now, I’m more looking to do a mid muffler delete, an FBO kit. Possibly forced induction in the future but obviously that’s far down the line of mods
My Dodge Charger was my very first car that I got about 2 years ago & still have to this very day, and I absolutely love it!! Totally worth the amount of work & money I put in for it..
Got the 2019 GT six months ago and love it ! Plenty of power for me on my commute to work, while saving gas money and looks so good. currently saving for a house. In a couple years I’ll upgrade to the scat or RT assuming that they remodel it in the next few years
Had my 2019 Dodge Charger SXT Plus for a few months now, I personally love it. Keep in mind I jumped from a 2007 base model charger to my current beauty.

@@dogma39-c4j the SRT models never sold bcuz they were way more expensive than a scat pack and offered no actual performance increases. Anyone who even considered spending $50,000 or more on an SRT just upgraded to a hellcat.
I love my charger. Best decision I've ever made, just that I'm going to have to start looking for a part time to support my tire bills cause it's hard to not constantly full send 🛥💨

Nice video, I had a 2013 Daytona 5.7 Hemi, Michigan state police blue, It was cool, now I have a 2018 Daytona 392, octane red pearlcoat, {AWESOME}, yeah, 4dr family car pushing almost 500hp Love driving it.
"So you want a Saturn ion redline." 😔🙁
YES that was my first car and I fuckin loved it
@@rorywagner7215 I own one rn, it's such a blast to drive!!
Finally a video not about JDM or hot hatches
I have a 2013 charger SE, hate my trim level, but love the car!! About to trade it in on a 2019 Charger RT Daytona
5.7L hemi?
11-14 chargers will always be the best 4 DOOR charger, I got an rt myself and I love it way more than the new ones. Way mor aggressive and menacing looking.
YES DO MORE MUSCLE/PONY CARS!!!!
Just got my '19 Charger Daytona with the 5.7. Couldn't be happier!
The V6 isnt terrible I really wanted a R/T but unfortunately my old car did not allow it so I settled witht he GT and am still happy with my purcahse
CHALLENGER NEXT
Parker Abrego not a whole lot of after market support for the challenger aside from the rims and tires. Got bored with my ‘15SRT after a year. Now I got that bmw 328i and this bitch is just a blast
@@StarFoxN69 maybe they've changed some things but I've never been in a fast 328i
The last time I liked Chrysler product was 1973.
Love my 06 6.1L Charger soon to be classic in some more years
Nah bro the 6th gen looks better
@@miguelfigueroa360 nah. 06-10 are timeless
Remember watching this video when it first came out 2 years ago, last Saturday bought a 2012 charger RT as my first car 😁
Congrats homie! What are your plans with it?! -Edgar
@@FitmentIndustries well it’s all black with a red leather interior, so color is fine for now, I’m more looking to do a mid muffler delete, an FBO kit. Possibly forced induction in the future but obviously that’s far down the line of mods
@@FitmentIndustries when I get enough money saved up I’ll defnitely be purchasing from you guys
I love yall!!! Thank you!!!!!
❤️
I loved getting my 18 Dodge Charger Daytona 392. Its stupid fast and so practical for everyday use. Also it breaks necks, so you cant beat it!!!
My Dodge Charger was my very first car that I got about 2 years ago & still have to this very day, and I absolutely love it!! Totally worth the amount of work & money I put in for it..
6:14 Lmao😂😂😂😂😂

I’ve fallen in love with my 2014 R/T AWD and wake up wanting to drive even 4 months after getting it.
How much you got it for and you still enjoy it?
I've owned my RT for a year and a half and its great, plenty of power and sounds good
They're kinda overplayed
But Still cool. Get what you want people not what your friends are getting
Maxxas Crow you should look at the truck scene mostly Chevys. There’s been an influx of fords though.
golf gti is "overplayed". only real overplayed domestic is the mustang
@@diegojimenez6975 I'm actually working on a 94 nissan hardbody build
Built Ka24 hoping to make at least 220hp
RomanceThief really depends where you live, most overplayed car in Vancouver is bmw
Maxxas Crow nice bro
Finally I've been waiting on this one Fitment Fam! 💜
My friend's 2018 Dodge Charger lasted 4000 miles before the transmission went
F
Sadboyz
maybe it was used and abused before he owned.
What in the hell was he doing to that car to kill a ZF 8HP in 4k miles?
....4000??? :(
I have the 09 Charger when Mercedes owned it with the V6
I'm slightly upset you didnt mention the heated and cooled cupholders option. I was dying when i found out i had them
4:50 the hellcat does not have lane keep assist or acc all models bellow have it as an option tho.
Got the 2019 GT six months ago and love it ! Plenty of power for me on my commute to work, while saving gas money and looks so good. currently saving for a house. In a couple years I’ll upgrade to the scat or RT assuming that they remodel it in the next few years
Nope you can’t buy it anymore after next year lol
@@mattayala lol ended up getting an RT last year anyways. Plan to keep it for a long time
I went from a 09 v6 Mustang to a 2015 5.7 Charger and I love it!
This channel needs more subs! I really enjoy how you explain things and every time a new video comes out I get super excited haha
Im glad ypu found someone actually funny and entertaining
Sweet where getting closer to Pontiac GTO!!! 👏👏👏
Want one of those so bad
I have a 2014 Blacktop R/T model, biught new in '14, love it to pieces
Had my 2019 Dodge Charger SXT Plus for a few months now, I personally love it. Keep in mind I jumped from a 2007 base model charger to my current beauty.
Buy what you want, If you want an SXT Get it! GT Get it! RT Get it. Stop worrying what others think live your life the way you want. At the end of the day who pays for those things. 👍
The runescape combat sounds, how nostalgic
Got me with that "town & country" line, good on ya son.
Well, now that the charger is done, I feel like the Challenger twin should be up sometime soon. Pls ❤
Hands down best bang for your buck for having 4 doors, but can still have fun! That's why I got mine! 👍👍🏁
In the Detroit area, every foreign dude and his momma has a scat pack and drives it like an absolute piece of garbage. Getting real sick of these cars
Owen Sharpe SRT>Scat
@@dawg4769 SRT doesn't exist anymore and anyone who gets one over a 19 Scat is an idiot.
@@dogma39-c4j the SRT models never sold bcuz they were way more expensive than a scat pack and offered no actual performance increases. Anyone who even considered spending $50,000 or more on an SRT just upgraded to a hellcat.
@@SRTBOAT True! Plus I didn't want leather or most of the electronic crap...SP let me pick exactly what I wanted.
In NYC too, it’s outrageous
Love the new editing style
I have a 2019 Charger scatpack 🐝 and all i can say is iove it. Cant wait til i get the Hellcat soon if God willin. DOPE VIDEO BY THE WAY
That's the best bang for your buck!!!! A beast in every way .... simply a good, fun, reliable, practical medicine for your heart.
Thank you!!! I’m one of your 13 American Loving fans!!! Domestic > JDM everyday
I love my charger. Best decision I've ever made, just that I'm going to have to start looking for a part time to support my tire bills cause it's hard to not constantly full send 🛥💨
