@joe achilles ... @@JoeAchilles1 Thanks mate... although ive already told my dealer, when the new RS6 comes out, Im swapping... heres hoping it handles better than the old one, as to me thats what really makes the RS4 unique...its an RS product that actually handles!

@@pseudonym6642 did you jump to a C8 RS6 or stick with the RS4. I am a coupe fan at heart but will need to go 4/5 door next time so the RS5 Sportback offers something closer to my preference. I reckon the RS6 may be a little too big (and a lot more money)…
phantom2k10 I agree there. I was surprised at how good the Audi did sound though for what it is. What almost got me was that awesome AWD launch ability and Audi fit and finish. The AMG is great too but the consistency with which the RS was able to get grip was very nice. Audi had such a tight well put together interior too. The C63 looks good especially in certain interior colors. The Audi is better buttoned down. But when I pushed the start button in the AMG it reminded me all over again why I bought it.
Kevin Hall I was very interested to read your comments about the RS5 and your C63. Those cars are both on my dream list and I am seriously considering chopping in my MK 7 Golf R for one of these 2 cars soon. I know that nobody buys a C63 and worries too much about fuel economy/running costs but please can you give me an idea of what you get in yours by way of average MPG for normal driving. I’ve seen reviews claiming that 20mpg is easily achievable (UK gallons) and even more than that on a long run. I’ve shortlisted the C43 too, M340i and an F80 M3 Competition MY 2018. My heart says C63 or M3 but my head says M340i or C43.
James Shotbolt James Shotbolt On the somewhat rare occasions that I put the car in comfort mode , I have seen around 17 in the city (a lot of stop and go in my area) and 24 on the highway. They each excel in their own way and have more acceleration than you will ever get bored with. I love my C63 coupe and would absolutely buy it again- especially after putting grippier tires on it which greatly improved traction and acceleration- and I’ve notice even an MPG improvement

Joe, As you know I have the RS5 coupe, managed a 0-60 in 3.6 and 10.9 quarter mile. These were officially timed drag runs. Running completely stock tyres and no mods. As you say incredible packages these cars, which are limited now..
I have to agree that this is a fantastic looking car with perfect proportions. That beautiful shade of green pearlescent paint suits it perfectly too. It's a triumph for Audi.
Great video Joe. Love the head turner shot @06:30. I’m curious to see how popular this is in the UK over RS4 and RS5 Coupe. I have a feeling they will still be a head turner when spotted
Good video mate. One small criticism, we never really got to see the car exterior. Opening shot was you standing in front of it blocking our view. Would be nice to see the car in it’s entirety as the I’m still not sure from the video what it looks like. Otherwise keep up the good work 👍🏻
Great video looking at Replacing my TTS with either a S4 or RS5 can't decide whether to have petrol or diesel S4. Hope you don't mind me asking what make are your sunglasses ?
Thanks Joe, I've watched this a few times and this time I have actually an Ascari Blue 2023 Rs5 Sportback sitting outside 🙂 It is hot and well worth the wait as I progressed up the #audi A5 range front FWD, to Quattro to the RS5 💗 Mines in Carbon Black and whilst I normally disagree with you on the practicality of the RS4 over the RS5, I found out (pre-purchase) I can't put a tow bar on for my Bike rack. It seems Audi didnt want to cut into the Carbon to make way for the towing connections. So you win on that point.....but I still went ahead because I love the style and frameless doors. The wife is now getting a tow bar hooked onto her Q5 😅instead

Man Like JOE!!!! Gorgeous vehicle to cruise down the motorway or to thrash around the B Roads. Practical for the family too. Love the colour as well. Would choose it in that identical spec. They are a bit pricey tho.... M3 Comp still has my vote and rear seat room is better
Had the coupe, spc’d to 90k. Fantastic to drive but needed more space so went for an M5. M5 far better build quality and finish and feels like 90k rather than a 45k car with lots of trim and bits added. M5 also a far better long distance drive (fantastic seats, better ride, solid feel), but for driving pleasure on back lanes the RS every day.
Can’t decide this or maybe the new m3/m4.. it’s so sad cuz I’m a big bmw fan but it seems that they can’t make a really nice 4 doors coupe.. with an elegant touch
I don’t get it, its an S line steering wheel, had an S3. Whats more the gear “stick” is the 2018 one. Have an A5 sportback with the S line package from 2018
Hope when the new m4 or m3 is on the market you will do a comparison or a drag race on carwow with Matt.. and man I love your content really relaxing not that fake overhyped..
Never driven this particular car.. however in the USA I had the chance to drive the a or s7 which is the larger version of this.. My take, people who are @5’ tall would be comfortable with this 5 version as you can see from the video it’s a little cramped and my experience with the 7 absolutely perfect- leg room to stretch out on long drives and the never 3.0 turbo motors is great along with the technological upgrades- not a big fan of the green as I have a brg jaguar x type that I like better. Cheers great video 👍🏻
Horses for courses Saw an all black RS5 in the dealer last week and almost gave in, it was that gorgeous but behind it was a fire red black optics pack RS4 which stole the show it was totally drop dead stunning. Neither for me as I'm about to place an order for the S6 Avant

Rs5 with the v8 rs6 engine would be the play - ideally the v10 r8 engine now I think about it - let’s not forget that it his has happened before - the A6v10 lambo was it not ? Did they have the R8 at that time ? Yup. That’s my vote RS5 V10 lambo✔️
LukeW1090 Massive price difference between the two though. In the US it’s about $50k USD difference. The RS5 is basically a 7/8 scale RS6. RS5 is a lot more fun to drive on a challenging road.
I don't understand the UA-cam obsession with Audi's. Fake vents, huge under steer coupled with numb wheel feel and the RS models struggle to set track times past even a base Cayman. About the only thing they have going for them is a nice engine note and proper rear seats, which for a road car is fantastic but it's the view that they are somehow insane drivers cars that baffles me.
