I really enjoyed watching this Christine thank you so much for doing it, especially the recess zipper. That’s terrific.
Thanks Cyn. I'm so glad you liked it.😁
This is one of the BEST tutorial on lots of elements of bag making!! SEW many things I learned here AND were/are details I was looking for!! I’ve subscribed…. Now to have a gander at what else you’ve got to teach me! 😍. ….. thank you SEW much!

I'm so pleased you like this one. Welcome to the channel😀
Beautiful bag 😍 and that cute little pouch is adorable. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessings always 😊
You are so welcome Anita. Thank you😀
Fantastic bag. Love the recessed zip. Great tutorial.😊
Thanks Janet😀
💚 LOVE the handles! Gonna try on my next bag!
Thanks Heather. Something a little different this time😁
I see how the enclosed recessed zip is attached. It's much like a waste band or collar when sewing clothes. This makes more sense to me than the recessed zip that has the end hanging out with a tab to hold onto. It's simply beautiful! I'm quite partial to butterflies, but the construction is a lot like making a skirt (that has no place for legs)😅. ❤
I prefer this type of recessed zip to the extended tab as well Sharon😀
This design is awesome. Love the pleats at the top. You know I love the metal tag as well. Thanks for sharing.
I do know how you love the metal tags Cynthia, paisley as well if I remember correctly😀
Hi it's Emily. Thank you I learn so much from you
That's wonderful Emily. Thank you😀
Well Christine you have done it again great video and bag easy to follow will be making this one over the weekend if i can find the fabric i want to use also will be putting in another pocket I like extra ones 😁😁😁
Thanks Pamela. You can never have enough pockets😀
Hi Christine love the bag also the pleats , will give it a try sometime and your step by step guide, make it so easy to follow along thanks 😊
Thank you Erica😀
I love how you do the handles like that! Very cute! Love the metal tag as well. The butterfly fabric is very pretty.
Thank you so much Brenda`😀
That is so much nicer than those awful tails hanging out on some bags. Thank you for sharing this tip
You're very welcome Kati. Thank you😁
Did I miss the link to the boxed corner bag tutorial? Love the recessed zipper tutorial, and now to see it inserted in a bag. Nice work!
I forgot to add it Cherie. Here it is😀 ua-cam.com/video/tKiadXzb2VI/v-deo.htmlsi=IsE0m1UyrFtOvIYq
I had no idea what a peeper was! I have certainly never heard of using one in a bag, only in a pillow case, and we don't call them peepers then. American learning Australian here!
It was something I learned when quilting Linda. I had no idea that they were a thing either😁
I use sticky stuff remover on my needle after using zipper tape.
That's a good idea. I place my needles in an acetone solution😀
Absolutely beautiful bag, Christine! Well done.
I notice some of your clips have square ends and some are pointed. Wondering if you have a preference and if so why?
Hugs from Nevada,
Cathy❤
Thanks Cathy. I don't have a preference for the clips. I accidentally ordered the narrow ones years ago, but they've been quite handy😀
❤
Thanks Sheila😀
I kind of hollered when you didn't stitch the handle when topstitching.😅 In my area, the girls that buy my bags like it on their shoulder. Smaller bags I make it more to carry on the wrist area. Again, teens love my itty bitty pouches for everything, lip gloss, feminine hygiene products, lunch money. But, even just a basic lined tote, I have something to put money in for the beach or swimming pool. I love it! ❤ 😊
haha, I've no idea why I didn't think of it then Sharon😀
Hi maam … what brand of feusable stabilizer you use? thank you for sharing your knowledge. God bless.
Hermie, I use Parlan, Pelon or Matilda's Own most of the time, but happy to use what is available😀
🥰🥰💕💕👜👜
Thanks Joy😀
It's lovely, but as you say, a lot of elements. Wouldn't be practical to make to sell, but it's great!
Very true! A nice one to gift perhaps😀
Loved the little pleats and the pouch to attach inside. Lovely bag thanks Christine x
Thanks Christine😀
