This game is so amazing. Can't wait for the big update
Have you heard of the South American Dictator mod for this game? ...Bannaner Lords 🍌🍌🍌
Ya know, I was thinking about starting a youtube channel and was trying to settle on a name. My wife always says I tend to overthink things so I figured I could with something like Cranium! That gave me an idea; we could collaborate together exploring games. We could call the segment Exploring Every Nook and Cranny!🤣💜
😎🍻😎
open with a joke ... lol i subed
😂😂 Always That Da @NOOKIUM&ROSS WAY🇮🇲♂️
It's pronounced Ts'why-Ouw. Like "This is why 'ow" in super short. It means two meadows.
15:45 to 15:52, small freeze of several seconds, not sure if its just an editing error
I heard it’s not really 1 person but somebody with subcontractors. They said to check the credits page to see all the listed people but not sure as i dont have the game
There's definately 1 "vision guy", but the credits do have a lot of modelers, concept artists, artists, etc. And music recorded by a real live orchestra according to a clip on UA-cam, iirc. I half recall the Manor Lords dev has an Epic Megagrant and some sort of deal with Nvidia, so got a bunch of cash to outsource work.
"Just one guy" is tehcnically true, but there's been a lot more people pitching in on Manor Lords compared to, say, dotAge, which lists the main guy, a musician and I think one font person or similar.
So while both Manor Lords and dotAge are "solo dev" projects, they are not the same situation. And it would be a bummer if people started expecting Manor Lords-levels of polish from all of the "I made something in my spare time and bought a music track for it" solo dev projects out there.
you are truly a great story teller. But how can you sit for over 3 hours? Special chair or something?
Basically a copy of Lords and Villeins but 3D minus the multi-dimensional families. In Manor Lords, families are not fun, they are no better than a pawn in a board game. One day they are farmers, the next day they are lumberjack... makes no sense for a video game.
The core issue is that citybuilders aren't suitable for that kind of gameplay for a variety of reasons. I'm not defending Manor Lords. I've no interest in buying the game. You'd just need a much more extensive simulation for those mechanics to be super interesting.
3.5 hrs, no thanks.
Bye bye
