  • Here's another one I used to hear on Atlanta's Jazz Flavours in 1988, from the Mexican group Sacbé and their CD/album "Two Worlds." I absolutely love the Brazilian sound this album has, and the complex, interesting progressions. Nice DX7 chords on this cut. Another one I heard back then from this album is "Ongaku."
    Bass - Enrique Toussaint
    Drums - Fernando Toussaint
    Keyboards - Eugenio Toussaint
    Saxophone, Flute - Jon Crosse

Greetings Sir, I hope you and your family are doing well. I want to say, thank you for all that you do. Your uploads take me back to my teenager days. Listening to Mike Lee Taylor on the new Y102 after dark from Jacksonville, FL.

Hey KC, this is excellent and I'm from Atlanta and 96 Rock would play jazz on Sunday afternoon I was rock and roll teenager and that was my first exposure to fusion. I just found another person that posted the Chateau record, and he put where's the beat on it, it has a snap crackle and pop of a vinyl album because it is , it's still a nice warm analogue recording after all these years

Cool! I remember 96 Rock for sure. 94Q originally aired Jazz Flavours only on Sunday nights, then around 1987 it became a nightly feature. I wonder if that’s what you remember listening to?

    Hello colleagues
Do any of you know if there is a place where you can download music of the styles we listen to here in high resolution formats like FLAC or similar but for free?
