❤❤❤❤You are the best !!! I watched another video for these cookies. I have lymphoma. I was exhausted and crying because my arms were tired and sore with stirring, (If i had known that it is to be expected like you explained) I would not of felt like a failure! i had cake mix all over the table and floor and me. “Bowl was not big enough.”!! You are the only one that explained it without leaving out all issues. I have stopped crying BECAUSE OF YOU!!! THANK YOU CHRIS!!!
The most realistic video ever for this recipe! No, we did nothing wrong if was to sticky etc..just happens..! 3rd x making these & we did it right! Each time lol
All the critics saying “Why didn’t you...” or “you should have....”. The kitchen is a creative zone. Do it your way. Have a better way? Have at it and then post your experience!
Just mixed up some chocolate and came here because I was not sure about the batter but it looked like yours. Meeting with a group of friends tonight and trying chocolate, lemon, and strawberry. Love that my friends don't mind trying things we make for the first time.
OMG! You are so funny. Couple of suggestions: 1. Smaller scoop, refrigerate/Freeze for 1 minutes before trying to shape, and you may want to use a stand mixer? LOL
Great camera angle! Thanks! I was just wondering... have you made the other cake mix cookies using oil vs. the cool whip? Is there a difference in taste of the cool whip cookies vs. those? No "cake mix" taste?
This looks like a hot mess. I make these all the time and you need to learn to scoop them in smaller sizes and roll them entirely in the powdered sugar. This looks sloppy AF
Chris, I'm an old lady, so forgive me, you're adorable. I plan to make this recipe, but using sugar-free whipped topping, skipping powered sugar, so they may be boring, but I'll be able to eat them!! Thanks for the recipe...keep cooking (& baking). BTW, use 2 spoons to scoop & off load your batter, less messy.
One thing I did not mention in the video was why I chose to place the tray on the rack instead of the cookies. I actually made this recipe before and placed them directly on the rack. They were so soft that it left grid marks on the cookies. Leaving them on the tray was the next best thing and it kept my counter clean. Since aluminum is so poor at retaining heat, they cool in about the same time as if I removed them from they tray.

Hi Chris.

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO USE THE SMALL SCOOP
Just mixed up some chocolate and came here because I was not sure about the batter but it looked like yours. Meeting with a group of friends tonight and trying chocolate, lemon, and strawberry. Love that my friends don't mind trying things we make for the first time.
Can you make this with pound cake mix?
Spray your hands with non stick Spray the roll into a ball
I love Lemon... thanks for the suggestion on trying that version. Mmmmm coasted in confectioner sugar!
You might try putting the powdered sugar on your hands before you roll them into balls.

Lol we make these they are good but we call them shit in the snow.👍😁
If you had rolled the dough in the powdered sugar it would have been a little easier to work with.

Spray your hands with Pam and the batter won't stick....

*when you’re trying to search up a character from a game but gets this*
Sorry

Why didn’t you just drop in powdered sugar without putting them in your hands? After all it’s a ice cream scooper. Not a criticism, just a suggestion.

I agree after you scoop it and place on tray then I'd sprinkle powdered sugar on top
Chris try a cup full of white vinegar!!

Not only use sugar free whipped topping but you can also use sugar free cake mixes!! And they tastes good without the powdered sugar.
Love your recipe. PS putting the cookies out on a cooling rack means the cookies not the tray Lol.
That made me laugh...I don't believe he's much of a "food guy" to not know that.

Sounds good but what is cool Whip? What is the equivalent in England 😇
Double cream and icing sugar beat together. They sell it here in the US for those of us too lazy to make it, like myself. 😂

Welcome !! You got a nice face !! ☺️☺️☺️
I'm sorry but I'm not convinced you should be in a kitchen trying to bake or cook.
