      @@ImnotChuck. Thanks for watching and comment. It’s a great plane for the price . Holds its edge well and is great for end grain. I wouldn’t be without it . Makes difficult grain easy to work. 👍

    Nice video mate. I have sworn off Stanley for a long time now, the quality just isn't there and hasn't been for ages. The old stanley planes are definetly worth a look and as you say, if you don't mind a bit of fettling there are plenty of them on ebay for decent money that will last a lifetime. It's a disgrace that that plane was let out of the factory like that.

    Was it the made in Mexico version you got ? I had one of these hardly used it tho , but ot was perfect , got rid of it on ebay way back last year in new condition .

      Yes made in Mexico now it’s sorted works great . Been using it today for fitting some 3/4” plywood panels it cuts well and holds its edge better than anything I’ve used before on this tough material. Thanks for watching
