- I'm legitimately excited! I think @everyone knows how much I love the Klingons in Star Trek and now I have a new ship in my arsenal. The K'Tinga! The overall strategy to the game is shifting for some players with the Bajoran faction and solo armadas encouraging some players to pick up more ships instead of skipping. How does that work for the efficiency of upgrading your ops? Let's discuss!

We need more faction ships! I agree I love new ships and I miss that feeling in the beginning of the game where we had so many to look forward too

An off subject ? Why doesn't scoring show all with same score as same lvl of award? 4 players with same score shows 10,11,12,13. Scopely won't lose anything giving those 4 the same rewards. I'm
With the inclusion of new enemies and systems for daily hostile grinds it is almost a requirement to have a 4* Uncommon faction ship up to tier 7 with warp upgrade. Once you hit ops 46 you will need to hit 46-49 silent enemies and the warp range required for my K'T'inga is tier 7 + warp upgrade even after the warp range research. I know it is a material drain but you'll need something to hold you over until you build an ops 46 faction ship. K'T'inga is AWESOME!!! (very small dolphin player, not f2p but only buy monthly battlepass).
I've been waiting for this video for ages! I got a K'Tinga this fall, still struggling to find the BEST crews (EDIT: I only have ST Una)

Strike team is the obvious answer, which means I don't have it (just have ST Una)
I took my K'Tinga all the way to T6 right ouf the shipyard. Saved uncommon battleship parts for months in anticipation of getting this awesome ship
I noticed you said you grinded it out.. congrats on that. Thats how I got my Ktinga and Kelvin. They are a grind but sooooo worth it and you aren't burning those faction credits that you will need for the 46s. Well done and enjoy the ship 👍

Congrats Rev) My ktinga is T5 and i love this ship) its really eat many unc ore, but pleasure to play on that ship is much bigger)
For ship collectors and Klingoen lover K'inga is a very lovely beautiful ship. But for the efficiency and long turn use as free to player (I am not Free To play Player) I thing Pilum and Korinar are the better ship to go! I am now OPs 50 player for Ops 46 you have to spend a lot of Ore not only for OPs you also have to spend a lot of ore in all trese warehouse and Vault. If you really want to have this uncommon g4 ships you should grind this uncommon ship 4 in high DS or Sol, Kronos and Romulus, buy in the away mission shop, save this credits for you rare g4 and start tieren up these ships after you have F&E build tier up your Efficient Ship Upgrades Research to tier 10 you get extra ship resource save in total of 46 % and also 4★ Battleship Pure Ore tier 7 give you 14 % discount.
I have all uncommon und two rare g4 ships. I use the k'thinga for solo armada because i did Have the defiant yet. As long it is not strong enough for Bigger armadas. For rep and broken ship parts grinding I us my newton and pilum. I love this ship for ther ship ability you can get more lot.
I will tier up my rare and epic g4 as much as i can. I also will get the epic ships g4. I think for my strategy for g5 I will skip the uncommon go for rare directly and invest the resource in Build and resource and rare epic g4 ships.

I love my K’T’Inga! She’s my primary ship now. The uc parts grind is the worst for sure.
Grats on new ship, also a counter to battle ship strike team is Discovery crew, Georgio as captain, with Burnam, and Tyler. I've done this on a T6 Augar against bigger Augars and won every time at ops level 39.
Have 2 Unc on 42. Since I had not build D4 Kelvin was a must have with a Dora. And boom solo armadas come and make my decision even more perfect!

Thumbs up good video, congrats on the ship. Can't say I agree on the officer advice but you have to experience for yourself what is possible with the Strike Team I think.

Tier 5 is plenty for the unc 4* ships, Thier only really a stop gap until you can build a rare so you need to try and save as much mats as possible because it gets really expensive in the mid 40's
Its a nice ship, still waiting for the Negvar, thought it would get introduced with DS9

The vaults and warehouses delayed me the most for lvl46. But....am there now.

The K'T' is my goto ship for most things. Mines at T5. Looks like there is long term use as I've seen lvl50's using a K'T' for hostile grinding.

Im 10 bps from the Quv'Sompek cant wait! They need to fix 4* ship parts sourcing. Even at level 55 i havent been able to get my 4*s that high.

This is my next ship :) working on getting Feds Rep to 1B, so i'm grinding a bit in Kronos and keep getting BPs for the B'Chor and the K'Tinga and the Korinar...
Go to Ty'gokor. Better fed rep

@@DarthPayne1980 I caught that. I'm pointing out you'd do better in Ty'Gokor. Kronos you're killing 24m power ships for 9,700 rep. Compared to 4.7m power ships for 8k rep. You'd actually get more per hull. 19% of the strength for 82% of the rep

I only took my K'tinga to tier 6. Needed the Ore for my Korinar.
I'm still grinding Valadore prints, Lvl 42 and have only just unlocked the black JF. Hardest part in upgrading these G4 ships seem to be the uncommon ship parts.
I am at 47 and thinking of getting K Tinga to go with my Valdore and Pilum. From this it seems as though it is a good option
I'm 44 and halfway to the 1B lock with Romulans. I'm working on my Pilum but will get all 42 uncommons when I lock Romulans, which shouldn't be very long. Going mono faction has some value....
It struck me watching this that it might be helpful to players to know how long it took you (rev) to hit certain milestones. We all started playing at different times. I can’t tell how far behind I am because our starting points are different. I’m 36 about to go 37. But i also started in 2020. Rev started before me. Am I on track? Am I behind his progression? It’s hard to gauge.
Are you happy where you are? Because any other comparison has too many variables for their to be many legitimate comparisons :)
@@slagdaricus of course I would love to be 60! Like rev, I am lacking on my M number. Only about 60. But I also can’t do rare solos yet as I can’t source the directives. My credit sourcing is sloooowwww so any favors are going to be really slow. So I’m general I want to get to a point where I can do level 40 solo armadas and the rares. Easier to do that with the rewards from lvl40 events.
But I get what you are saying. We can’t all be 60 and to be happy playing at my own pace. But part of playing is progressing. So I wanted to have some way to make a guess at how similar our 2 paths are.
Rev and I are on the same server and we both started right when the game launched back in November of 2018. I am f2p while Rev is not. It took me two years to get to ops 34 and my Enterprise. It took two more years to get to 42, build the ktinga and max the enterprise.
@@robertderamo8943 I set my own goals for short term and long term. I try to not compare to other players. Ofc it's great to see what is possible with what... For example, with a t4 epic ship you can do everything an ops40/41 needs (+maxed 28 ship & cerritos or mantis for solo armadas) if your research is decent
use your dailies as your bar. If you can do them fairly easily you may want to think of going up a ops level. Youll also want to get to 39 as quick as possible camp there for a bit then push to 42 and then to 46. I wasted a bunch of time at 36 when 39 the rewards for events and dailies are much better
Great video, I am going to be getting this ship next August. What do you think of Harrison, McCoy and Marcus with Harrison at level 4, McCoy maxed and Mar us level 3.

Would you ever think of using Cath instead of Chen for the PVE crew?
Really unsure what first G4 ship I should go for. materials push for valdore, but now that explorer strike team is a huge fail it doesn't seem worth it. like the katinga also a lot, but dropping the tygokor grind would be such a huge loss

I missed out on strike force tlaan or laan (the epic one) and feel like Im screwed.. I have the explorer crew and the interceptor crew use them on my Korinor and my Kelvin but that battleship crew wrecks me even with some much much weaker ships

If you have each *4 Lv42 uncommon ship loaded with it’s appropriate strike team, which do you think will perform the best in PVP?
It will come down to battle triangle.
@@rondon8303 it’s three unique ships with 9 unique officers, there’s no way the results are exactly equal. You might beat the ship down triangle and lose to the ship up triangle, but you’ll still have one that performs best overall. That’s what I’m curious about.
It's a great ship but it's impulse is extremely slow

Pike Beverly Chen is not superior. SNW Pike is only better for lvl 52+ hostiles.

42s are unusable until at least T4 ^^
Cause on t4 the get 3 underdecks. As compar Jelly need t6 to have 3 slots, and that’s why it sucks.
