Noah's ego when putting himself on the same pedestal as Linus, regarding PC tech and fame, is just pure comedy gold and denial. I was watching them one night on Noah's stream. They were doing a build for MVG Charity for an active duty soldier. Noah had stepped away for a few minutes (might have been getting food, don't remember). Someone in chat asked if this was the build for the veteran. The person in chat was told it was. The person then asked if they could use up all their bit points (this guy had hundreds of thousands of points) and upgrade the CPU. Alan (I think that was Noah's builder) said that he could. Now, if you look at the way someone can use their bits, one of the options was spending 590,000 bits to upgrade the CPU. So, the person spent all their bits (it was way more than 590,000). Noah finally came back in and saw this and his first response was no, you can't spend bits. I think at this point there was a very short discussion between Noah and Alan. Then Noah came back and said, but because it is a build for a veteran, he would allow it. Noah also made some comment about how this person got so many bit points.
Love this for you Kristofer! Thanks for always shedding some light on some of these phony companies shorting CCs and customers alike. Karma is coming for them.

Great video, popped up randomly in my UA-cam Feed. I’ve been a creator for 7 years, I am a Twitch Partner and a small streamer. If a company treats you as “your not good enough because of your numbers” for a giveaway or even to work with you this is a huge red flag. If the company is smart they work with all sizes of creators, it extends their reach exponentially. Work with business as a creator that scale the mutual benefits accordingly. Watch out for companies trying to take advantage. Keep at it creators & much love! ❤️🤘
I've been in IT for over a decade, built dozens and dozens of computers used by Intel and nVidia at events and cons when I was with a very large system builder. Now an enterprise level system admin managing over 30,000 workstations and 5,000 servers and I think I know my stuff. I've watched a few streams and had to correct Noah numerous times. I have a couple buddies who got machines from Artesian and they were poorly built, just trash. Noah thought he was a walking tech wikipedia and wrong about the basics.
As a sys admin myself who manages 30 servers and 200 workstations, and who has built 4 PCs ever, I can tell you that his cable management in the one video I watched bothered the shit out of me.
This is the second video this week I've heard mention thermal paste. Is that shit really that serious? I remember back in the 90s everyone was always trying to sell super mega zinc whatever. It's 2022, shouldn't cpu just be good put the box?
@@Lildoc911 cpus are good to go out of the box. Pre-applied paste is a no-go for a lot of companies because it adds to production cost, is another potential hangup on the qc station, and can potentially get messed up during shipping. Love watching content creators like you who are more than aware of human emotions and cues that alot of people act like they dont exist. Yet again great job kris :)
I actually didn't know much about them until recently when I was job searching and stumbled across them. I followed their UA-cam channel and it seemed pretty cool some of the stuff they were doing and thought it would be cool to work there so I applied. I got the interview and didn't hear back from them. Honestly, seeing everything I'm seeing now I'm really glad I didn't get hired.
Being a small content creator, it is difficult to not judge yourself by every single dislike and comment because I'm able to read and see them all in almost real time. Small content creators don't have the luxury of choosing certain brands, we get we are given and often it is terribly underpaid and not worth even half the effort, but we have nothing we can do. I appreciate your words and I love your take on this, I hope the industry will get better, especially for us small scale creators.
ive been building PC's for a long time, professionally and personally. i can assure anyone considering or interested in buying a PC, you can build it yourself, cheaper, and better than what prebuilt companies charge. i dont care which brand, or company it is, theyre all charging you well beyond cost, and youre getting some less than good components, namely PSU's, Motherboards, and 'lesser' parts. modern PC components are keyed, they fit together like legos its near impossible to do wrong. there is no aspect of PC building you cant do yourself, unless you have a disability like not having use of your hands. it takes 30 minutes starting with an empty case, and in the long run, youre better off doing it yourself since you will have the knowledge to repair and replace down the road & help others. dont sell yourself short, and if you have any doubt you can easily watch a youtube video and get passed it. Then you can pass on your knowledge to friends and family.

I came from Luna's stream. And all I have to say is. Round of Applause!!! Thankyou for spilling the tea, and I am so sorry that you and so many others had to deal with them personally. Also.....the "Hey look Luna, a working PC" clip will never not be hilarious.

Definitely a legal issue when changing the giveaway requirements after starting a giveaway. Love the new studio. Looks very similar to Harris's old studio (stairs, windows, and hallway).
There's a very good chance he managed to transform it into an illegal lottery, which is somewhat frowned upon by both state and federal levels of government.
@KristoferYee I worked with Artesian as a twitch liaison your take on Noah is pretty spot on. The unfortunate fact is, most anyone else in management roles seem to carry the same attitude. There were and are a lot of great people working there. But this is a sinking ship until the whole house is cleaned.
I was ambassador of Artesian Builds, I am ps4 streamer, i have two youtube channels. I would have hated to get picked for winning a PC and get told, more or less, "you don't have enough numbers". I even contacted them shortly after what had happened, a very respectful message and then the terrible apologies came out, I left. Anyways, looking forward for the giveaway Krisofer! Crossing my fingers. Much Love

I read about this earlier. I'm glad Intel stepped in and pressured them. I'd never heard of the company before and hope to never hear about them again after this shitty display.
I'm paraphrasing but Intel said, "We value inclusivity and we aim to support the gaming community as a whole. We strive towards supporting streamers of all sizes and do not agree with negative comments made directed towards small streamers." They also said they'd be reaching out to both sides and implied that they're revoking their partnership or whatever with Artesian Builds. The full statement is over on the IntelGaming Twitter
like most streamers who start getting the big bucks . They all lose their soul very fast. But they can keep up the charade so well they seem to fool everyone. It's not hard to play el Sympatico in a studio behind a camera. Like linus for instance , he is seriously struggling with his godlike image, hard to keep it up for him now. They all lose in the end.
Hi there, just happened to come across your video here. Very well thought out. I follow Jayztwocents and GamersNexus so I was aware of what went down. Other than stuff on youtube I don't do social media so watching your explanation and the others was very enlightening to say the least. When you showed the live stream of that giveaway it looked like to me that this guy was just going off the cuff. Heck, the tech didn't even look very impressed by what was happening.
touch any of those streamers income and you'll soon realize they are all the same kind of ho for the easy money, i don't care how others perceive them and place them on a platter as if they are gods of IT. It's just ridiculous these amateurs getting a crowd of dummies on youtube makes then think they are the man. there are tens of thousands of enthousiasts out there that never streamed but are way more knowledgeable about pc's then those well known streamers.
This Noah is just typical toxic person that's rampant on the internet scene. Hopefully all this publicity will bring some legal action that will put him in his place. I know Jay actively asked for legal reps to get in on this.

Bought an Artesian to support one of my favorite streamers and because I lived nearby Noah asked me to drive to the townhouse in San Francisco he builds these PCs out of to pick it up to save on shipping costs.
The Asian guy that built the PC's was a very genuine and sweet guy, you can see him cringing thought this entire stream. Sucks he probably lost his job cuz dirtbag over there is such a jackass.
I'd say Jayz2cents is the most professional PC builder on UA-cam, his builds are insanely clean. Old Skunkworks got me into watercooling. Linus, while not as refined, definetely is WAY up there, though. He knows his stuff, he loves it, and you can be damn sure he's honest. Then there's Gamer's Nexus, where Steve is just brutal. He may not be as entertaining as Jayz or Linus, but if you want raw information, he has you covered. Those three are pretty much the PC UA-cam how it should be. And that Noah dude thinks he's better? I typically offer friends and family to do the assembling and installation of software free so long as they're the ones paying for the parts and consulted for compatibility while still staying in budget.

Noah's ego when putting himself on the same pedestal as Linus, regarding PC tech and fame, is just pure comedy gold and denial. How the heck is Linus' LMG not a pc company, he started with pc tech and has been doing this since 2007. Even people who are not that much into PCs have probably heard of Linus and his channels on UA-cam, hardly anyone outside of the pc and tech world allegedly knows or has heard of Noah and his company.
yea but his 80 followers (and declining) know who he is🤣😂... actually maybe they dont even better lol
@@ChefFoxy :D
LMG is a media company. Their business is not making PCs. Therefore LMG is not a PC company.
1. Linus' company, LMG, is a media company that doesn't sell you PC hardware or builds, just some small merch. They are mainly content creators.
2. Linus doesn't pull shit like this - his word is pretty good.
3. Linus, for all his faults, doesn't punch down like this guy did.
@@matasa7463 LMG may not sell parts directly to consumers but via sponsored builds or product reviews he does "sell" a lot of stuff..side note the only time i can think that he actually sold product was during the verified gamer video...
He seems like someone who normally would have started an energy drink company but for whatever reasons started a PC company.
“Drink prime”
Ok, I'm not a guy for drama or videos like this... but this was great! You made this as respectfully as you could while still giving facts without sugar coating. And props for not undeservingly outing the company as a whole but revealing the actual problem within.
To be 100% clear. there were moderators in their stream who were cheering Noah on about rerolling and calling out the same shit. A few actually did ask multiple times for clarification of rules as thats not what they were told, and they were ignored in the chat. idk if they had other options to contact and got ignored there, but they tried while they were live and got ignored. Not all of the people there are in the clear, but a lot are.
A lot of the time, the two or three guys who are actually building live, whom seem to have been there since the early days, are entirely on board with how much of a twisted man Noah is.
@@StellaBorneWatches Toxic people like Noah tend to hire 2 types. Timid people who wont stand up to him on their own, only when united by a stronger leader type. or other toxic ass people.

I revisited this because of old Crystal Clear VODs mentioning this. You are a real treasure Kris!
I don’t even think Noah knows how to build a pc lol
@@samolivier894 He’s like Stefan from The Verge. But even he managed to redeem himself somewhat
Pasting is easy and quick, it's not a big deal so long as you remember to do it.
What’s crazy is that this is now. When UA-camrs actually have enough power to change things. Back then you were probably just screwed with no outlet

these guys should be this guy. the company is good, the creator is not.
I choose to pin the blame solely on Noah's shoulders. HE is the reason Artesian Builds is no more.
I've never even heard of this Noah guy, and I practically live on UA-cam and I also like PC related content.
