I was feeling so sad for Denis just after the match, and until this moment...now that I have heard his thoughts, I am so pleased that instead of having his confidence knocked, he immediately has a plan on how to proceed with his training. His thoughts on the Internet are absolutely correct. Denis is like many of us; many struggle with the new exposure of the modern world, it isn’t really healthy. But we have to adapt, we have no choice. And knowing Denis, he will manage it with the grace of a true champion. True Power, your videos are wonderful, beautifully shot. Please convey our sentiments to Denis. More than ever we believe in his abilities. After such a long time, and in only two matches in one year, he is already dancing around the pinnacle of the sport. I will watch Denis whenever and where ever he pulls. I don’t remember statistics and titles. I only remember how an athlete carries himself. There is no one in armwrestling better than Denis.

He cant perform most of his training because of his health issues. He cant curl even the same amount of weight he used to curl. He isnt even 80% where he used to be but some people are blind to see this. Even with this Devon couldn't shoulder press him fpr good 6 8 sec tell you that if he recovers the same like his prime then the result will be different.

You can tell, he's a very kind hearted person, also very brave to be able to talk about your own mental weaknesses so openly. The man endures the same exact emotions as the next guy - and he’s extremely honest about it. For an absolute elite athlete to show vulnerability, and humility after defeat…how refreshing is that? What a great sportsman. This is why Denis is a legend. He doesn’t see his loss as a defeat but a necessary experience on where he needs to focus to better himself. Huge level of respect for this great man.
He needs Devon's mentality. This dude never backs down no matter the defeats which he had many. And also, most importantly, he needs to train with Genadi to help him with a title rematch.
He is but to be fair, that's not why he is a legend. He is a legend because he wins so often against the greatest pullers in the world.

Denis is my role model both as an athlete and as a person. He is the reason i started watching armwrestling some long time ago. Your comeback to the sport this year was one of the greatest news i've heard and something i was not expecting. While yesterdays result was not what i wanted its definetely proof that you are back and in time im sure you will claim the n1 spot once again.

Such a wonderful human being. Win or lose. Denis will always have a special spot in armwrestling. Right up there with John, Devon, Levan etc. Nothing will take that away from him ever.

I haven't been able to put it in words, but this is exactly what I felt, I lost myself. He lost fair and square to Devon, I believe he will improve greatly from this loss though.

One of the things I like about Denis is his honesty.. No excuses.. He said that, he felt perfect before/throughout the match and that Larratt is just stronger. No sweaty tryhard drama, he is just wholesome..

Great job Denis, I can tell you did your best to hold Devon back. As a Canadian I respect your dedication to the sport. Really hope to see you rematch Devon at some point! This was the most exciting PPV I've ever paid for. Can't wait to see what's next for the big man.

увы , здесь уже дело в физических кондициях тела. Опыта у Дениса вагон. Но чем вжахался Ларат , что смог такое сделать, это для меня загадка. Сегодня много молодых и заряженных атлетов, против которых очень трудно выстоять. Но Ларату ведь полтиник лет. Кстати у Воеводы был такой же конфуз с Бреснаном.

Просто хочу сказать, это было крутое событие и Денис никого не подвел, а если кто-то считает, что он что-то кому-то должен - это не так. Уверен, что этот этап только сделает Дениса Ивановича сильнее и мастеровитее, главное чтобы здоровье было остальное наладиться. Денис, как профессионал и человек с сильным характером станет намного лучше, как это было после поражения после Брзенка лет 10-15 назад, сегодняшняя история не исключение! It's amazing to me that just minutes after being beaten Denis was able to pin point exactly what his weaknesses were and how he should train next. He has a self-awareness and a humbleness that is very rare to see in athletes, let alone just after their loss. Just like Devon learned from his loss to Kvikvinia and Ermes from his defeat to Devon this match will only make Denis stronger. Can't wait to see his next match!
It does NOT matter what Denis works on Devon will DESTROY him again. Devon is by far the better arm wrestler. PERIOD. I have said it a 1000 times Denis has to stop taking the massive amounts of DRUGS and he is a top 10 wrestler PERIOD! great guy though! I think losing to Devon will fuel Denis to get even stronger than if he won. Denis with Todd Hutching's style could be very dangerous as his static strength would make it near impossible for opponents to regain position.
Denis is easily one of the most loved armwrestling personalities and I hope he continues to climb and compete. I would love to see Denis take on more frequent opponents at a medium level such as Dave Chaffee and Arif Artem so he can adjust his training better the way Devon did.

Когда Денис вышел из закулисья, что то во мне екнуло, увидел что неуверен и стал переживать, и как только я увидел , что Ларрат сделал первый рывок за столом понял: похоже это конец, в прямом смысле конец карьеры Дениса, но после этого интервью я очень сильно обрадовался и больше ни о чем не переживаю, как же я рад, думаю что это поражение сделает Дениса только сильнее.

This was a great interview very open and honest plus he knows exactly the errors and what he needs to do to improve. Great job!
My late father always told me when I was first learning to play hockey as a child, “a champion is someone who gets up when they’re down”… Denis, it’s a long way up at the moment but, you are capable, and you’ve been to the top before, ya know how, go again. Go again. Big fan of ya! I watch arm wrestling because of Devon, and I’ll always root for him, but there’s plenty of room to root for you too, come back stronger!
@MdoubleHB.x that might be true-ish. He’s definitely not quite back to his former self, but I don’t think he’s too far from it now. Gotta give Devon some credit here. As Denis said, Devon has made amazing progress, faster and more effective than himself. Denis is probably about 90% of his past self, but Devon is probably exponentially better in all categories when compared to their last match. Denis will need at least 100% to beat him. Probably more.
Denis is a true Gentleman, he inspired us both in his wins and losses, wishing you speedy recovery and you will become no 1 again.
Да все адекватные все понимают! Денису здоровья главное, давно всем все доказано, а дальше если позволит все можно продолжить при наличии мотивации.
Тут правильная фраза попал в ЛОВУШКУ. Ларат все прочухал, понял, что у него с формой все впорядке, поэтому сейчас или никогда пока у Дениса проблемы со здоровьем, травмы, спад, отсутствие соревновательного процесса. Поэтому Ларат нещадно влил в себя фарму и вымутил согласие Дениса, хотя в 2018 сам постоянно тянул кота за яица.
Следуйщий ход Ларата был здесь же, он начал Левана на январь тянуть, хитрожопый он. Он понял, что Леван сейчас на травме и никакой и вот он второй сразу шанс второго хлопнуть и сделать На ХАЛЯВУ из себя супер-пупер чемпиона.

Denis will return stronger! This was a good lesson and I was thinking from the beginning endurance game is not gonna work with Devon. I will always root for Denis, he's got nothing to prove! He is and always will be the best in my eyes. If there were more people like Denis world would be much better place to live ❤️
Слова Дениса после поражения просто вселили в меня надежду. Когда я увидел этот армфайт, подумал что врядли Денис пойдёт дальше. Dennis tried to fix what wasn't broken. That endurance training hurt him.

You sacrifice power for endurance, and his game is a power game, flash pinning people with ridiculous power. Why he trained 90% of the time in a losing position I'll never understand.
It was clear in the John match that he lost a lot of power, and just won with enough strength n mainly endurance against a weaker opponent. Devon is juiced to the gills, and stem cells are immoral n unfair to take that shit. Recovery is another level with stem cell treatment.
I love Dennis as much as anyone I'm probably saying this coz I'm so upset n frustrated but the way he trained was plainly dumb, everyone says he's so smart, but he's not showing it. If he was smart he would've trained the way he used to.
He's got his arms back shoulders pretty much but hasn't built his chest n lats back and those muscles are crucial for crushing side pressure like he used to have.
He should've been smashing Dips for the chest n especially triceps for the press. And heavy chins.
In all fairness he has done well given he went off gear after John for months. Devon hasn't been off it for 18 months atleast
He was 125 against John n I think 128 against Devon. That's not enough. He should've got to 135 for Devon. It's not hard with muscle memory. It all comes down to how much juice he's having now vs back then. But if he bulked n put on some bodyfat like Levan he'd be monstrous, 160 easy with a bit of a belly, staying so lean hurts your strength. If he could give up his abs n looking pretty he'd be invincible.
Levan is only successful because he knows holding fat is the only way to reach your size n strength potential. I estimate if Dennis put on fat, by eating fat high calories, he could put on at least 25kg of muscle with 10kg of fat. That would put him to 160 - 163 n he would crush everyone. We never saw his potential coz he stayed so ripped, once you get to superheavyweight where there's no weight limit your crazy to stay lean n lighter than you could. Levan Zaur Georgi they know what their doing.
Dennis actually was as strong as them lean b4 getting sick, IMAGINE IF HE BULKED BACK THEN. All his lifts crush Levans pound for pound.👍
Denis' mentality and self-awareness is on the Final Level and why he is the People's Champ. And to understand all that immediately right after his defeat makes him the Champ.

Это же не всё что мы готовим против Девона... Все думали(я точно так думал) что есть какой-то козырь который не освещается.... Я очень надеюсь, что Денис избавится от Бабкена... По сути такие тренировки это его косяк. Он что, не видел, что Ларрат сметает всех подряд и нужно больше силовых? На кой черт вообще выносливость качали, когда Денис в 2018 его вынес тупой силой?
@@blablabla4136 Перестрояться и наверстают)) когда у Рустама Бабаева спросили по поводу его травмы, он ответил что травма ставит рамки. Видимо и Денис был в рамках и не готов был взрываться. Да и сильно грузился победами Ларата и всей ответственностью за предстоящий бой. Хотя я считаю, что Ларат не настолько прибавил, на сколько поумнел, вернее добавил в хитрости и наглости.Просто на его пути стали больше встречаться новые сильные оппоненты,не осознавшие особенностей борьбы с ним. А старые, травмированные чемпионы ещё не оклемались. Поединок Геннадия Квиквиния,тому свидетельство(просто ему вовремя подсказали чем крыть Девона).
Я то думал здоровушка не позволят на взрывную силу. Тогда удержание было бы логичным и основным типом тренировки. А теперь выходит круто лоханулись, и не только Бабкен с Валерой, а сам Цыпленков! За 5 лет все выветрилось?
тренировали только защиту да еще и в раскрытых углах. Борьбу в трицепс, перевод в трицепс на старте, с которым сейчас выигрывается большинство боев, не тренировлаи вообще. Я тоже было подумал что эту тему они просто не освещают. Однако нет.
Охреневаю от слов про то что не тренировали атаку, контратаку, ставили всё на защиту. Ну как так, слов нет. Ну не на спаринг же готовились, почему такая недооценка. Тоже сразу подумал о Тоддзиле и его мгновенных атаках против Кады. Кароче удивлён настолько что слов нет.
Когда они говорили что не всё нам показывают,я был уверен что они именно скрывали атаку, борьбу в трицепс, а оказалось что этого то и не было,на ошибках учимся как говорится,одно радует- теперь у него будет мотивация и цель
Ага, чисто детский лепет. Ожидалось что то вроде не могу (пока) проводить полноценные тренировки, для набора массы/силы. А вместо этого, да я переделывал себя в Ларрата-2, но что то пошло не так

Wonderful interview which explains everything perfectly regarding his physical and mental state given all the pressure. This was a good showing at the highest level for someone just coming back after years of ring rust. He made Devon work hard for it despite the weaknesses.
Look forward to him competing more regularly. Clearly he is already at the top tier of fighters.

Абсолютно верные выводы сделал Денис. Правильная параллель наконец-таки проведена (он сказал, что надо было как Хатчинс с Кадыргали бороться). Верно, что на тренировках уклон был на сдерживание атаки Дадикяна, а надо было учиться атаковать. Вы просто посмотрите его поединок 2018 года - вот там была мгновенная атакая с бешенной силой. Поэтому не было шансов. Теперь даже если вернуть атаку, то такой разницы в силе уже не будет. И после успешной атаки нужно будет долго держать кингс мув Ларрата. Я думаю, что Денис через год может спокойно его побороть, при условиии, если наберет массу, востановит силу и вспомнит что такое быстрая атака с бешенной силой.
Да причём тут наберёт массу и силу? Армрестлинг раньше и сейчас совершенно на разных уровнях. Ларратт сейчас на 2-3 головы выше стал по силе, чем в 2018. У него стал бешенный пронатор и движение в бок, которое тот же Чеффи не мог сбить Ты хоть сколько дури имей, не получится всю свою дурь включить если у тебя пронатор просел и отключилась и лучевая с бочиной. Понятное дело, что у Дена дури полно и он Ларратта держал одним бицепсом с выбитой полностью кистью. Никто не мог такого повторить. Ему года полтора надо поработать над ошибками, перестать работать на закисление, держать центр и сделать пронатор с отведением такими, чтобы у соперников кисть отлетала при старте. Уверен, у него все получится.
Согласен, Ден и сам все понял, думаю наберет силу и вес поменяет характер тренировок и тогда сможет выиграть Ларрата

Мне кажется, что лучший вариант для Дениса- чаще участвовать в армфайтах. Всё, вот он проиграл, ничего страшного не случилось, мы продолжим болеть за него дальше. И на АМС он не хотел ехать из-за рандома сетки и опять таки боязни проиграть. Ну и пусть проиграет, зато зарубится с Силаевым, Лалетиным, получит кучу опыта. Будет не в вакууме своих спаррингов.
Ларратт ведь и набрал эту форму через кучу поединков, в том числе проигрышей.
Ну под силой я имел ввиду в том числе движение пронатора. Кстати, кисть вроде не сразу выбил то, а какое-то время Денис держался. Просто Денис явно не ожидал, что Ларрат как Кадыргали начнет раскачивать раз за разом более 10 раз подряд. В теории, ну как мне показалось, одно атакующее мощное атакующее движение в самом начале поединка до прокачки Ларратом - сделало бы свое дело. А так после первого раунда Ларрат ему руку забил и все. Считай, что поединок закончился после первого раунда. @@narius7278
Я помнится еще несколько месяцев назад под каким-то роликом Дениса писал об этом. Много защиты, вся стратегия от нее. Но мало агрессии, нападения, инициативы, взрывной силы, скорости. Еще тогда борьба с Пайзулаевым показала, что на одной защите не выехать, нужно встречать паровоз своим выпадом. Понятно, что я мало в этом понимаю, но чисто на ощущениях...мне кажется с Ларатом нельзя бороться вторым номером, ему нужно навязывать свою борьбу с первых секунд.

Про мужчину согласен, про победителя - не очень. Денис слишком мягкий и скромный. Чтобы быть победителем, нужно быть дерзким и гореть победой. Что бы кто не говорил про Ларрата, этого ему не занимать.
@@The14Some1 Давиду такой подход с Прудником не очень помог... Все упускают тот момент что Ларратта оттавский госпиталь снабжает бесплатными стволовыми клетками, что помогает ему в восстановлении, это сильный допинг. Плюс это только второй поединок Дениса после болезни, плюс он стрессанул сильно из-за давления как Ларратта, так и заведённой толпы, которая была за Ларрата на 90%. Да и ещё Денис походу неправильно подвёлся, много воды слил. Кароче в этот вечер всё было против него.
