Yeah. Even if Denis endurance was better, Devon made it irrelevant. Switching to press is a complete change of muscle groups, then return to rested muscle groups with can opener. Meanwhile, Denis held him with the same muscles throughout, super inefficient.

The fact that in 2018 denis did not humiliate devon ( as he let him win the last round as a sign of respect ), and in this match devon just looking in denis's eyes to terrify him or to show his dominance over him. At 48, he is dominating a monster like Denis. Devon is the GOAT of this era. No disrespect to John. John is definitely the GOAT of the previous era and a pioneer of the sport.
Let me translate what Denis said in the beginning--- " I wont stop and will continue training with a goal to reach my peak, as for Larrat I said already that he was a strong opponent and plus he put psycholigical pressure on me by beating elite wrestlers thus I understood that he is progressed and distanced farther from me so I needed to catch up with him, and that was a difficult task to do
Devon’s so obviously likes Denis but he can’t resist the trash talk to raise the hype for the match. It works, although sadly some fans fall into the trap of believing it’s true and start hating this or that athlete. Both a lot of fun to watch regardless of result.

"Cope" with reality as you love to say. I like both guys and don't care either way who wins but it's obvious how juiced your daddy is 😂
One way to think about it is Devon was obsessed with destroying Dennis that he dared to say it in public to obligate himself to show complete commitment. He couldn't forget the 2018 left arm disaster. Devon showed an unmatched amount of effort that, for the first time in his history, he didn't show his training. He studied every match of Dennis, trained so hard. On the other hand, Dennis was relying on his close circle for his training, and focused on certain positions that are Dadikyan specific. He ignored all the warnings that said he would face troubles with Devon's style, and the fact that he is just back after a serious injury and underestimated Devon. So it's a complete dedication from a fully engaged Devon VS a miscalculation from a post-injury Dennis. However, Dennis, after such a devastating disaster, will wake up to reality and make better adjustments in the right direction. In one year, he will be competing for the spot number 1 again. So ironically, this defeat is the best thing Dennis can actually wish!

Denis looks at least 5 years older than Devon when in reality it's the other way around. That speaks volumes about Devon's good genetics and organic growth unlike many other AWs who treaded the path of gear abuse early on. This match was legendary and proved that Devon is the titan of AW. I hope he's getting his hammer back.
Love the gamesmanship of Devon. He makes this way more entertaining. Plus, whatever he has done for the last few years, has set him at a different level.

As someone who doesnt even know the rules and other names... I can say this guys are the ones who can bring more new people to this sport as fans or competitors 💪 awesome
Considering Dennis can't speak English and devon is only 5 minutes away from retirement your comment doesn't hold much weight. The sport needs young men with strong personalities and good character in order to bring more attention to this criminally underrated sport. I hope it gets better for arm wrestling soon because they have always been struggling for promotion and money and I don't think that's fair when some of these men have revolved their whole lives around this sport that they love so much. Best of luck to everyone who loves arm wrestling. Thanks for reading my comment. God bless 🏴👍🏻

Devon's power is underrated. He has insane shoulder & side pressure. Also, people have notoriously said he's slow. He may not be the absolute fastest, but he's definitely got some explosiveness.
Yeah. He is very fast. There may be not a lot of power behind that speed, but that's why he uses first round to soften his opponents up. In second round his opponents are already sluggish, while he is still fresh and explosive, second round flash pin becomes a pattern.
Nah, listen to the larratt lickers! He didn't hold out nothin...he was DOMINATED. Look at how fckin long it took devon to pin him even in round 3. Just stop licking the guys nuts... seriously.
If you watch older videos of Denis you will see something entirely different. Looking at this video he is just uncomfortable at the table. No change in position no adjustment. Only one failed attack. Devon was at much better shape but Denis is not even mentally where he used to be.
Doesn't matter what he was mentally. His plan was to tire Devon out. On practice Devon got him pumped in the very first round. You can't make many adjustments, when your opponent has superior hand control.

I still remember watching old Devon videos of him talking about Denis. The way he felt about him was so high, I never tough I will see this happening in ever, even with a healthy Denis. And that first pin was the resolution of many years, and you can see it on Jodi's face. This was the end of a big journey
If you think about it, he maximized his efficiency with that approach. He did those surges using his static strength, moving his body, while arm is perfectly locked in place. Meanwhile, Denis had his bicep and cupping flexed dynamically, which is prone to pump and fatigue. Then by switching to press Devon is using different fresh muscle groups. Then by doing can opener he returns to his previous rested muscle groups. Super efficient, meanwhile Denis had to use his bicep and cupping whole time. I still think that Denis' endurance might be as good, especially, back pressure, but it just didn't matter due to lack of efficiency.

The fact that in 2018 denis did not humiliate devon ( as he let him win the last round as a sign of respect ), and in this match devon just looking in denis's eyes to terrify him or to show his dominance over him.

It would be great to see Cyplenkov competing again, but I’m not sure he’ll be able to reach the level he had before getting sick, he’s been away for quite some time, it will be hard to catch up to Michael Todd or Devon larratt.
Incredible match. Looked like Devon was training denis's forearms for hypertrophy. Denis did well. 20 reps full range of motion.and a few partial 0RIR hehe. Mad respect to both
-1RIR, hahaha.
The ppv was definitely worth it. So many awesome matches.
Devon is on another Level right now! Congrats 💪
A forca um dia acaba , mais o denis foi um dos melhores mano eu jamais vi uma forca como essa mano
Real.......
I still remember watching old Devon videos of him talking about Denis. The way he felt about him was so high, I never tough I will see this happening in ever, even with a healthy Denis. And that first pin was the resolution of many years, and you can see it on Jodi's face.
This was the end of a big journey
I have never seen Devon just hell bent go for it like that before. He’s reached such a level of endurance that he can sustain full throttle😳
