Just installed last night. Works okay in our office/bedroom. The light is more downward facing so it does seem a bit dim, even on the highest setting. My only qualm so far is the start up speed when you turn the switch on at the wall. It takes about 2-3 seconds for the light to kick on. Otherwise, we are happy with a ceiling fan in that room for days when the A/C is not worth it to run.

Nothing is mentioned about remote and switch set up?
I have the Fawndale 46 in. Indoor Integrated LED Bronze Ceiling Fan with Light Kit, 5 Reversible Blades and Remote Control. My wife loves this for the bedroom but was wondering if I could wire it so the remote still controls the fan and light but I can also turn the light on with the switch when i walk in (but the fan stays on when we aren't in the room) I know somehow I would have to wire 2 separate switches which is fine but not sure if it is possible with the fans logic. Not even sure if a smart switch could solve the problem
I have a red wire from the ceiling. Where does that connect?
You only need 2 wires, black OR red that comes from the switch, and the 2nd wire is nuetral.
@@juroworkshop I have three wires coming out of the ceiling, black white, and red. I left the red unhooked. Seems to work fine so far.
