- With the Leagues 4 release just two weeks away and teasers coming any day now, I put together a list of 10 useful tips and tricks you can apply to your Old School Runescape Trailblazer Reloaded experience.

Small point: The Medium Combat Achievement Barrows prayer drain perk is only active while wielding the Gommal's Hilt. Otherwise, incredible video as always, SO PUMPT FOR LEAGUE BOIZ. LETS GOOOOOO

I think you're misunderstanding how the shopscape nerf works. It should reset after every purpose, not after closing the interface. That means you can still buy and sell spam. It wasn't actually much of a nerf at all.

You can also set up your mouse wheel to click and menu entry swapper to buy/sell 1/5/10 so you can get Max money back or decide how sweaty you want to be.
Also useful for tzhaar shops for buying onyx/obsidian
Surprised you didn't mention the port shop for Morytania. While many regions have one, it is by far the most useful being the closest one to a furnace and next to the ectofuntus.
Also feel like Mage Training Arena with a minigame buff could be the best early/mid game runes shop in the game. Cosmic runes can already profit in the main game with a high enough spell. Depending on how much of a buff it has, nearly every rune + combination runes may be able to be bought at a profit to get 1,000s of most runes quickly starting from under 10 natures, laws, and cosmics. At minimum it will likely be an infinite supply of natures, laws, and cosmics as they have the best conversion rates.

Mage training arena is the worst content in the game, leagues is supposed to be fun 🤣

Exciting to learn I'll be able to get the Soulreaper Axe, though looking over the Combat Achievements, it seems like almost everything there will be completely meaningless with my area selection: KDZ. The clue scrolls are nice in general, the half imbuing cost is nice at Hard, as is the Bracelets of Slaughter/Expeditious should I decide to use them at all. Also the superior slayer monster rate is nice at Elite.
I don't really do Boss Slayer so I won't see much use from Easy and Medium, and Master+ will be impossible to achieve, not that there'd really be anything worth having from them. Shame I'm skipping Mory this time around.

My question is, since you can alch 'em for money... can you sell it to the shop in the wilderness/shilo for money than alching?
Shopscape nerf, darn. Though we can always do what we did last time and have a 2nd account or person spam the shop to refresh it rapid fire.
It's not as bad as I thought! Definitely still viable, a little click intensive but no need to close and reopen the shop!
I will go Zeah first for the amount of unlocks, then wilderness and then Priff, i really want to try and get the bowfa but i'm terrible at bosses so i will take advantage of the fact i will have relics (i do hope they make one that makes us ignore prayer), i'm afraid of the wilderness so i will make the most out of it now that it's safe
I've been thinking the exact same thing. Really want to learn Wilderness bosses over raids in leagues but we will have access to Chambers of Xeric anyways. I just don't know Priff that well.
@@bobbinsthethird i would never be able to beat the gauntlet normally since i'm bad at reflexes like changing prayer and weapons, so its the perfect moment to try it
i think the starter relics are going to the be usual 3.
better melee.
better ranged.
better mage.
i'm kinda torn between Asgarnia for the ability to just buy knives for early ranged training (as it will be my primary attack style) but then Zeah for the sand crabs, but then again, we get Fossil Island right off the bat fairly sure, so sand crabs galore anyways.
so likely 1st Asgarnia, for early ranged training, then Zeah for all the goodies there, then priff for all the goodies there, Priff will be last since although a good region, not exactly a good region till you can do the high end content it has to offer, meanwhile Asgarnia has Fally, Taverley etc at my disposal (alongside with a dragon bone source)
Zeah has all the different type of content, catacombs for slayer training, then also Skotizo for the good supplies from there (also for the pet chance which is likely a task again for a lot of point)
then we got hosidius with farming, having a disease free farming patch early on is gonna be massive for potions later on. (then also Tithe Farm once you get there, we also likely gonna have that minigame point boost to top it off)
Shayzien obviously has the lizardmen, so a chance at the DWH and it has CoX (endgame content, but it's there)
and then also the dark altar for massive prayer EXP from ensouled heads, since you know that'll be coming, especially if you got last recall+catacombs and then bloodvelds.
and then we get priff for CG and Zulrah. (honestly, this leagues will mainly be my method of learning the harder content in an easier setting, sure i'll be OP, but it's easier going from OP to normal, than it is going from underpowered to normal)
I would like to learn inferno in the leagues
I did Priff 1st unlock in the original and it was an absolute blast. Slightly difficult to get tasks done to unlock the next region but zalcano was awesome at such a low level. I think I did Zulrah by like level 50 or something like that lol.

@@joshholmes1372 it's not the most "engaging" region, i get that, but i want to learn Zulrah and CG comfortably, so i'll do it during Leagues and then bring their drops over to other pieces of content, i'll have the GWD, Zulrah and CG and then CoX at the end of it, honestly, sounds fun to me.
hmm... soulreaper axe is obtainable? The biggest flaw of the weapon is the ramp up time. But the relic makes it 2t instead of 5t. This lets you reach max stacks in 10t (6s) instead of 25t (15s). The dps on this thing is going to be absurd, I feel. Desert + Kandarin + Asgarnia might just be a really good pick for anyone wanting to play about with 3t godsword and 2t soulreaper axe while having access to a really nice variety of content.
I love how this shit comes out just in time for me to fail finals.

Should be claimable from the "sage" or whatever NPC is used this time around. I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong but it should be in Lumbridge for us to claim when appropriate

Pop those Karamja gloves on before you sell anything, if they're karamja gloves 1 they only work in the Shilo village store & definitely does work - good luck out there

I’d say Zeah first is a rather strong 1st region pick
@@HotLeafJuicer it's literally one of the worst first picks. Fremmy is definitely worse first and Mory is probably worse first.
Nothing in Zeah is great too help you buy onyx/obsidian or get your FC which should be some of your first main goals.
Zeah is probably BiS for slayer but offers probably the worst early upgrades for combat for any region (Sarachnis and shamans are not remotely viable grinds early).
Zeah offers nothing skilling wise that is very good early unless you really want to spam Wintertodt, tithe farm, and WC guild. Early high level grinds are not remotely efficient until you have exp multipliers and appropriate relics. WT rewards only get better when you level other skills and you will likely want some gathering/production relics before doing WT or WC guild.
Artefacts are great exp but mediocre gold and not really BiS. Aerial fishing is very efficient but it gets you no food/loot which you need early.
@@kenshin1368 For a player that doesn't want to do Wintertodt at all, sure I guess. Otherwise it's a very strong pick that gives you 1k league points just from grinding 99 at Wintertodt alone, on top of all the early supplies you get from crates(which you say there's not, but that gives you plenty of early skilling supplies). Which by the time you get there, you'd have 8x xp which will be plenty "efficient" for just 99, directly because of those 1k league points. It's 1.6 million firemaking xp, which is nothing in Leagues. If we're talking efficiency, you're not being optimally efficient by waiting for 12x multiplier and saving not having to do a measly 600k firemaking xp. And you would save a majority of your reward crates for later once you have those somewhat higher levels and better drop rate modifier. You don't have to open all of them all at once.
Not forgetting to mention how I was completely fine playing the entirety of Twisted Leagues early game, you know... a league based around Kourend ONLY because it has so much to do. So I'm not sure what you're smoking if you think it's a bad region for early game. And this time there's going to be even more tasks added to it. Are there better 1st region picks than Kourend? Sure. Is it one of the worst? Far from it.
A fire cape/obsidian should certainly not be one of my main goals as a magic main, maybe if I was going melee.
@@HotLeafJuicer Dunno why I cant see your response here but it has nothing to do with whether you want to do WT, it's that WT gives you better loot later, will benefit from boosted exp, and will likely benefit greatly from gathering/production relics. There are much, much better ways to make money early and Zeah doesn't help at all with early goals of getting decent combat gear and buying onyx/obsidian.
If grinding WC/Farming/Firemaking early in an account was super useful for some reason, Zeah would be a great first pick. But its not, and its not great at getting you early loot/gear/resources.

Why are you so stuck on onyx/obsidian lmao? That's not a standard first priority that a majority of players have, that's just you.
My point still stands, Kourend is a great first pick, far from one of the worst. There's a reason there was an entire League made around it.
