that’s so awesome! This is my second time reading/listening, read it before ROP and after I watched it I got back into it and read it again! Hope you enjoy it so far (despite some of the confusing names 😂)
@Robot.Palmtree no no offense to LOTR of course but it's just me . I've read the silmarillion three times and I'm already thinking about starting it again but I couldn't finish LOTR not even once and I've tried three times I lateral gave up on ( the two towers ) yesterday I'm thinking about rewatching the movies I've only seen them once when I was a kid but I'm not sure
@@Robot.Palmtree For me, I actually read the books before I even watched the films. I remember I was young, and when I told my parents I was reading the books at school, we all sat down and watched the films together. From that moment I’ve always loved lotr
My wife wants to watch the second season. I don’t want o give them the views. But I told her she had to listen to the real story of the forging of the rings before we watch it so she can be as mad as me about what they changed.
@@SkywalkerSamadhijust watch it. I love the books and understand the lore really well. Of course it’s not perfect but I always wanted to see more about the elves and the early ages cause the stories are cooler. Sauron is different but they do a dope job showing him as a deceiver. Watch it with your wife man lol
19:52 The interaction between Eol and Curufin is one of my favourite parts of this book.
Me too
I’ve read this many times. But as I get older it’s easier on my eyes to listen.
