I'm just finishing the border but had to comment on this beautiful blanket. First, and very important y'all, follow the instructions to the "T". I modified the width & have had to make adjustments accordingly.
NOW, Dear lady, making this blanket has been pure pleasure. Your verbal and visual instructions are spot on, precise and so easy to follow. I will definitely make this elegant blanket again. Sooo much fun. I love that you repeat each step as you demonstrate it. Mine is white with grey border & pink butterfly. Thank you and keep up the beautiful work.

I made a blanket for my granddaughter being born in December. I actually used the pattern for the blanket from a different video of yours, and used the border from this video. I added two butterflies in two opposite corners, and also added a crocheted letter "T" on one corner, and a flower (the "open" butterfly) on the other corner. I presented it to my daughter in law and son during the baby shower this past Saturday; it was a total hit! My first time making something for a baby. Now working on making the little shoes. Thank you for the tutorial.

I am a BABY GIRL FAN so I made this blanket using the same colors as yours and many baby cardigans in PINK. I waited for the NEW ARRIVAL Guess what!! I had to keep everything with me as it turned out to be a BOY🤣🤣. Finally I gave the blanket to my daughter in law for Christmas last year and kept the cardigans. I swore NEVER to crochet baby clothes in pink or blue. Thanks for all your amazing tutorials, they really keep me busy. Love you 👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆

Seven months ago I made my first one of these...since then I have completed 4 ...lol. I think this one is popular with my Las Vegas moms because it's lighter in weight....and the outside boarder is so beautiful. I made a sunflower blanket for a loved one, and I needed a beautiful boarder and this worked perfectly. The first arch is coffee brown, the separated triples are cream and the last 2 rows are pale yellow and it turned out great. It made everything come together.

Until the very end, I thought the border was layered or ruffled because of how it was folded. Very pretty indeed. Wonder if it could be a 2 layer border if it’s even possible.

Love the blanket, i struggle with the explaination, the english is a bit hard to follow. The content is very good with some nice explainations once you untangle the grammar i had to listen to the explaination for the chain , the first three rows twice to make sure I had the instruction down clearly. The lenght 30 and 31 I never did untangle so decided to go with a stitch count of 145 for the foundation row and stop worrying about the length . Well worth the listen and thank you for the pattern.

I just finished this blanket. Turned out beautifully. I was hoping to send you a picture but this doesn’t look like you can. I put the elephant appliqué. And it’s in a cream and emerald green (pure wool) as didn’t know what baby was. Looks amazing.

Your work is beyond beautiful, however, I always been told that baby blankets should not have holes large enough so baby can get fingers and toes caught. Am I wrong?
I’m going to try and sew a soft material on the main part of the blanket. My mother in law has done this with other patterns and the blankets have lasted many years and washes 😁

I just finished making this beautiful baby blanket. You always make such cute things. The only thing I would do different next time is go down one hook size when making the border. Especially for the shells. I haven't blocked it yet so maybe that will change.

Hi. I’m making the border now and was wondering about something. On the BPDC, it sounds like the instructions are 2 per stitch but I only see her doing one per stitch. Is it one BPDC per stitch or 2? Thanks

@@stephanieweiss8680 I used a 4 ply . The brand is Yatsal baby yarn . It's a beautiful yarn , lovely and soft , and has a nice sheen to it . I have made several baby blankets with it now and have been happy with each of them ☺ 💕. Thank you for your question, I hope this helps
