Wow. Bit late to the party with watching this one. But made my day. Some very emotional playing on a great sounding guitar by an inspirational guy.. wonderful Jon. Catch you at the next live chat and I promise to be on time 😂😂
Sure thing David..will be seeing you around ✌❤
Congrats Jon, your playing is a dream. I wish I could have your talent and your sensibility ...
You will in time...✌♥
The Aesthetics alone is what got me interested in that tele. Great playing as always!
Thank you ✌♥
I enjoy your demo's, very honest and articulate, really respect your playing technique also so thank you👍
Thank you kindly!
I can spend hours lisening your solos man. You are the BOSS 👌🤘🤘💯😎

It’s. Great guitar ❤. You play beautifully 🎸😎☮️👍
Thank you very much!
beautiful! both the guitar and the music. thanks for sharing
Thank you ✌♥
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Just got my black golden yesterday. It's beautiful can be better at some details but still love it.
Great review and great playing as always my friend. It is odd that this video came up today, I just found one of these Telecasters earlier today and will be picking it up Saturday. Yes I might consider changing pickups to a set of Seymout Duncan. Have a wonderful day and keep forever playing music.
Cool, thanks!
I snagged one for 359 from fender over black friday. What a great guitar. The neck alone is worth the money. If you missed the same it'll be Beck for Xmas.
Cool ❤️✌️
Love how you play!
Thank you kindly ✌🏻❤️
I have the vintage edition of the 40th anniversary telecasters. The neck and everything on it are fantastic. Though the neck pickup is a tiny bit muted. Loved it so much over all I bought two more.
Awesome!
I have a red one. Instead of changing the pups, just take the neck pick up out of the tone circuit to cure the muddiness. I like my 40th anniversary squier a lot.
Nice guitar, and some very tasty playing there Jon!
Thank you ✌♥
kudos to this amazing sound and performance 👏
Thank you ✌♥
Guitar Master Jon. As usual those melodies that flow from your soul are like the melodies that i hear in my head! And most times they wake me up and i go to the computer and record them before the dream escapes. Bluesy and spacey, most beautiful licks i have ever heard. As far as the guitar, you were spot on with your review on this wonderfully crafted instrument and i don't care where it was made! Master craftsmanship is not exclusive to any one country. As with your assessment of the pickups, I totally agree with you, they are not the best as far as clearity and volume. So i did order some better ones. Thank you so much for your review and sharing your knowledge with us. You are much appreciated!
Thank you so much ✌️❤️
Beautiful music❤❤one of my favorite players😊😊🎉🎉
Thank you ❤️
That’s a sweet sounding (and looking) tele and you sure do know how to make it sing!
Thank you kindly
Excellent review! Still in amazement over Squier price increases but that's how it is now a days. ✌
sadly...yes ✌♥
Wow! This is a very nice Squire, it looks and sounds amazing and Johns playing is just fantastic!
Thank you ✌♥
Jon, you produce the best review show there is. your a great guy, your playing ability is off the chart and we can here every tone clearly. what amp and pedals do you use for the show. very sweet and soul full. be blessed.
Thank you Larry ✌♥
Hello @Jon 🎶
From the USA 🇺🇸 I'm new to your channel. Thanks for sharing 🎸 🎶
Welcome to the channel!!✌️❤️
Thanks for the excellent demo and review! I mostly agree with your assessment of this guitar. In my experience, right out of the box, it was stunning visually, ready to play, and just needed minor intonation and a little lower action for my preference. The bridge pickup was great, but the neck pickup was not just "warm" but I found it to be muddy. Both pickups, as you mentioned, are fairly low output. I had this guitar for a year, and played it enough to get a good sense of it. I decided to sell it, because in my estimation, it didn't sound as good as the $150 Squier Bullet Telecaster that I have. It is quite beautiful to look at, though, and it was comfortable to play, but when you have LOTS of guitars, like I do, some don't get played enough. After a year of trying it out, I realized it was never going to be a go-to guitar, so it had to…go!
Ah… thanks for sharing✌️❤️
Thanks for the great video, Sir. One of my guitars is a very nice Squire Tele, that I bought for $250!. Not as beautiful as yours there, but it sounds great. I'm a dual coil guy generally, but for $250, just amazing.
Very nice!✌♥
Wow, what a intro ❤
Thank you brother✌️❤️
I have MIM fender strat, Gibson les Paul special tribute. The budget guitars. And this squire is my fav to strum on.
✌️❤️
I have been looking at the new red with black 40th anniversary tele. The red and black looks sharp also. This guitar sounds great.
Cool ✌️❤️
Always great demos! That Tele is beautiful! The only thing that worries me is the headstock finish. I had a black Squier CV 70s Stratocaster with that glossy headstock, and the headstock finish was very brittle. Out of nowhere, there were cracks. I'm pretty soft-handed with my instruments too. So, for now, I went with the satin vintage Tele 40th anniversary model.
✌❤
Great video and terrific guitar , the man playing it is a bit bloody brilliant too ! 😊
Thank you kindly!
👍
It's a beauty!!!
✌♥
Me encanta como tocas la guitarra inspira mucho
Gracias✌️❤️
I own this same model….it has been upgraded with a better switch and TV Jones Starwood pickups….absolutely a phenomenal instrument!
cool!
Beautiful guitar !
Indeed!✌️❤️
Jon has the feeling of his music in his soul , something you can’t learn , you either have it or you don’t, beautiful as usual , another beautiful guitar also
Thank you ✌♥
He is an awesome player with an awesome talent !
I swear, this is right,, I always try to sound soulful with all the speed and technical skills I have..... I end up sounding fast.
But I will sound soulful someday!
Dig it Jon.. you make anything sound worth buying
Awww thanks
Amazing sound
✌♥
This or Sire T7? Great video and your playing was SOOOOO SWEET! Loved it! TY!! ❤
Thank you✌️❤️
Very nice pickups!
I think so too!
This is actually my first electric guitar that I ever bought, I love it, still learning how to play on both acoustic and electric, but the aesthetics were too nice, and when I purchased it fender was having a 40% off sale, so I got it for 349, I could not pass up on the price and it plays beautifully.
Thanks for sharing ✌️❤️
Got my 40th jazzmaster for the same price...gotta love Sweetwater
Hi Jonathan. I love the way you play. And demo your guitars. I have acquired more Harley Bentons. So much so that Mary begged me to quit. I caved in and agreed with her.
Awwww.. Thank you✌️❤️
after seeing this review i said to myself, no way this is still in stock, i go on thomann, and its literally the only 40th anni model of the Telecaster they had left and not only that but also at a reduced price at 330 euros and not a B-stock, either not that i would had minded if it was B-stock in all fairness. I couldnt resist buying it, thanks for the amazing review of this beautiful guitar Jon.
Enjoy!!!✌♥
Your playing is amazing…
Thank you ✌️❤️
Good review. As usual.
Thank you ✌️❤️
If you could put a tuxedo on a guitar, this would be it!
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
You bet!
Great playing bro
Thank you✌️❤️
Love your playing! I would love one of these, but I'm so iffy about the hardware quality and QAing that comes with these squires. I love their style but know it'd be a much better investment to get something like a Sire T series or a g & l model.
✌️❤️❤️
Great tone for an inexpensive guitar, relatively speaking. There is a pronounced hum when you switched to the bridge. Do you think you swap out the pick ups for the Fender Noiseless? Beautiful guitar overall. As per usual, great playing Brother Jon!
Coram Deo
Thank you William! ✌♥
Love it. My wife just put me one on layaway
Nice!!!✌️❤️
good sound excellent value for money
✌️❤️
Just a small note of correction, technically the first instruments to bear the Squier name were made in the 1890s as Jerome and his son Victor Squier were famous fiddlemakers long before the company was sold to Fender. The 40th anniversary refers only to Squier as a guitar manufacturer.
Thanks for sharing✌️❤️
Like i said once before, you make every guitar sound like royalty, ... but this one, fair to say sounds indeed like Gold 🎶👌💖 ... but a block inlay on a Telecaster? 🤔 ... 🤣🤗😏
Thanks! ✌♥
Thanks!
Thank you
Beauty 👍😊
✌❤
Nice jamming
Thanks✌️❤️
sounds good! Is this stock setup? or did you make any adjustments?
Never touch a single thing✌️❤️
I just picked up the non-gold version of this. Cyber Monday got me. But Fender had em for $360 so why not try one out? 😎😎
✌️❤️
Good. As always. John, I'm sorry for the question. But I really want to know from you what kind of chain of effects you are building on your Helix. I really like your light booster sound.
Combination of compressors n amps drive setyings
@@JonIsJustTooLoud This is understandable. The question is which ones.)))
Been trying to talk myself out of buying one. You're not making it easy, Jon! hahaha
lol!! ✌♥
What a fantastic lookin guitar!
Sounds pretty good, as well.
Yup!!✌️❤️
You can sure handle a Tele Little Brother!
I try ✌♥
bravissimo 👏
Grazie Millie!! ❤️
Hey Jon, I'm looking to get one of these 40th Anniversary editions, I already have a Fender American Stratocaster, so I'm still considering the Tele and the Jazzmaster, what would be the best bet? :D
The tele✌️❤️
Good Video. I just bought that exact model, at a very nice discount from Sweetwater in DEC, at $360 total price, $240 OFF. NO brainer! Quick Question ---- what is the red device that you have on or near the first fret while you are using a Slide? Thanks....OH, the reason I bought it was that I ordered a Certano G & B Bender for it, and it's now with a Luthier for installation of that device!
That’s awesome!! That Red thingy is a wrap around string damper✌️❤️
It would make enough sound on my vintage 200 amp fender on wheels
yep ✌♥
I ordered the green one from Thomann and i have to say that was the last time buying a guitar from there. The guitar came with a big cut on the binding next to the 4th fret. Probably done by a screwdriver. I just wonder, Thomann is checking the guitars before sending them? It is very disappointing if fender put them in boxes in such condition. Furthermore i have to ad that compared to the Classic vibe series, the specific one felt more cheap in my hands.
✌❤
I really want this guitar, but I'm torn between the green and black versions.
✌️❤️
Just got it
cool!!!
Love it so i just order one sound much better than thé afinity series
Cool✌️❤️
Im thinking about getting one for christmas, ive read online that getting gold hardwared guitars take a lot of maintaining, is it really that true?
It is if you perspire in your hands✌️❤️
Hi what hotter pickup set or only the neck will you put on ? What brand and model
The hot Tele set from Seymour Duncan
I would like to convert one of these to a nashville config. Does anyone know what the route is like under the pickguard?
😀
I'm in the market for a Tele, would you recommend this guitar over a T7? It sound's extremely thin to my ears, but I'm not really a Tele player maybe it's supposed to sound a bit thin like this?
choose the one that you like...
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I can't. I can only try the Squire. Where i live I would have to order the Sire T7. Which do you like better?
@@varanzmaj get the T7
Im disappointed in the pickups.
Ive got the gold stratocaster
Much better pickups
But..a great candidate for pickup upgrading since it plays great
✌️
How do you compare this guitar to yours Harley Benton TE 70? :D
Different quality
Is the Squier 200$ better than the TE 70?
Go Teles!
✌♥
👍
✌♥
Which do you prefer this or Sire Tele?
The Sire.. ✌♥
@@JonIsJustTooLoud thanks Jon
what is your rig in this video?
Check the description ✌️❤️
Telecaster é Telecaster
✌️❤️
the specs and look are good, but the quality is not as good. with that price point, try to find used fender player/standard.
✌️
Honestly give Jon a tree trunk and some cat gut for strings and it would sound awesome !!!!! 🙂
Lol!! Cat gut!! Ewwwww 🤣
There`s nothing affordable about these 40th Anniversay Squiers. They cost more than the Mexican Fenders used to cost just a few years back and they have the same terribe electronics in them as the Bullets and the Affinities and I belive the same pickups as the Classic Vibes. They seem like fine guitars but at this price there are much better options like the Sires, Harley Benton Fusion or EART or just save a bit more and buy a Mexican Fender with better hardware.
You are right..Its affordable depending on different perspective.
Great demo! You let the guitar breath, in the demo. I’m glad didn’t drench it with distortion
Glad you liked it!✌️❤️
Thank you! I hate it. When they demo a guitar with a ton of distortion!!
Nice jangle
Thanks ✌️❤️
Single ply, five screw pick guard…just like on the early 1950s telecasters!
✌
You make that guitar sound so great
Squier keeps squeaking their prices up, but they’re not moving the quality as much as the price in the same direction. For another $150 you can just buy the actual Fender or grab a used Fender Tellie for even less in excellent condition.
✌♥
...interesting comment. I got a lefty Tele CV50 a few weeks ago...$350 shipped....really nice after you replace tuners and add brass saddles. Getting way more play time than it's price deserves. ;-). Oh, VERY sticky neck...but scotch brite took care of it nicely.
Thanks!
Thank you ! ✌♥
Thanks!
fantastic videos. Fantastic demo's. Fantastic playing. Incredible tones. Thank you !!!!
Thank you so much!!
