Body cameras should come with the option of real time live streaming or real time cloud storage. If the camera is confiscated by law enforcement or becomes lost stolen or damaged, your stored recordings are lost unless they're uploaded to the internet.
The way they are is the way the government wants them to be so police can delete the video. Also, if they obtain your camera they can delete your video as well. Did you think the video was meant to protect us? It's meant to protect them silly.

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
I wish videos like this would include like bad reviews or like potential cons or problems. I mean because I know they have some, Ive seen one or two of on amazon before and the first thing I do is a check out reviews. I dont trust 95% of reviews that are all 5 stars and super positive feedback.

Sad - I'm looking at body cameras for possible bad cop inetactions. You just never know if you're going to be dealing with a good or bad cop, but either way they all want to protect their fellow cops and it's an us vs them kind of culture.
What makes any of these the best? Seems like you just picked 5 Chinese cameras and said they are best. Unlikely that Axon isn't on the list either when it's clearly one of the best as it's used by about 60% of police agencies. While some of these seem ok I see nothing ground breaking to make them amongst the best.

No Police BWV camera will ever have external or removable storage....... nor will they have high res, nightvision etc,,, the camera needs to replicate the human eye as close as possible to support evidence... High Res and Low Light are great for security staff etc,, but no use at all for policing....
None of these cameras do what I want: live streaming. If a cop decides to beat the shit out of me, then sees that I'm recording him, he can just snatch this from my person and destroy it. But if it's being live streamed, I have that extra protection. Once cops realize enough people are carrying devices such as this, they'll be less incidents of them fucking with people. I'd also like to be able to have it come out through a button hole.

Take a smartphone, put it into a robust case and you have a much better cam at lower cost. Plus - you can upload/stream to a save place!

I have a BLoblov N9 1296P and it takes up to a 256gb card 4 hour charge time and 10 hours recording
