That’s why I enjoy scything. I do have issues getting very thin grass to cut as it tends to bend over, especially when dry. I have even peened, then sharpened with a fine grit stone. Even though it was razor sharp, has a good angle, it would require multiple passes on the thin grass. Fescue would cut without issue. Thanks for sharing.
