When I returned from my 2005 NG Iraq tour, what I met was nothing short of incredible. 1 - I returned as my wife had not yet arrived from her driving +60 min distance and arrival time change. In true NCO fashion, I asked where a flower shop was. A Sgt told me where a shop was, where his jeep was located, and threw me his keys. Of course I got her a dz roses, topped off his low tank, and backed it into the best spot on the parking lot. You can't beat that kind of teamwork.
These videos of returning troops never gets old. Plus they are always a tear jerker.
God bless the United states of America

Wholesome! Beautiful, bless them all
Damn there were a lot of guys that didn't have anyone greeting them...
Yea I noticed that... Pretty sad 😔
@Andy No doubt brother!
I know it's sad, but remember too a lot of their families can't afford to travel to welcome them home. Even my brother's CO in Iraq; who was an excellent officer in the National Guard and who my brother respected as an officer, his family of 5 could not afford the trip. So we need to remember that. If your loved one is coming home and you can't afford to be there how can we, as a community help you to get there?
HOME SAFELY... from UNCLE SAM to BIG BROTHER... to fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers! Husbands and Wives!😌
God bless you all from youre irish friends
The day he comes home I will wait with open arms to him.

What is the name of the song?
American Dad! (Theme song)
Get in step
Imagine being alone there and no one expects you to come home
If you there for somebody else, acknowledge that and give that person a hug as well and take them for a meal. I would do that!
@@claudiamonteiro9699 We did too when my brother came home; we invited every single soldier who seemed to have no one there to welcome them home to dinner. PLUS my bother's MIL went up to each of those soldiers, shook their hands, welcomed them home then hugged them. That's when I started to invited them all to a welcome home dinner. My husband was almost apoplectic but went with it once his heart settled back in his chest. This was at Ft. Riley, and it seemed each craved BBQ, so hats off to Famous Dave's when we showed up with 27 people; we waited a bit but they seated us in the main dining room with a mish mash of tables put together. Let's not talk about the bill, but my sweet husband enjoyed himself tremendously and signed the check! Of course they were all warned about not going all out with food and drink after a year in Iraq and of course not a one listened to that advice. So BBQ and beer it was and I suspect each and every one was as sick as me brother was that night. I'm glad we did it, ginormous bill or not!
It's more a matter of not being able to afford to travel to their homecoming site. I know the families all felt that keenly.

I WANNA BECOME A SOILDER
美军这两部道走的真不咋地,不过战斗力却是世界第一。军人被尊重,被爱戴,他们为了国家和家庭就会奋力作战,然后美国就越来越强大,富裕。
USE ENGLISH !!! LIKE THIS>>> US troops this two-step road go really is not ye, but it is the world's first combat. Soldiers are respected and loved. They fight hard for the country and the family. Then the United States becomes more powerful and wealthier.
thx 4 the translate,ok,i use english: us soldiers are sh*t at walking, but god at fighting.they r respected, loved.so they will fight hard for the country and family.as result,us becomes more stronger and richer!
:) Doing the right thing is not easy... but US tries... and stands strong with allied nations... big or small !!!
well said!
@@tarklee9320 It's the fighting that counts.
But, the walking problem "you see" is "yours", not ours. They walk just fine for us.

American soldier, go home, your relatives are waiting for you. Don't go to other countries to kill other people's families, go home! Kill less, God Jehovah will have mercy on you and bless you. People of all countries will thank you...
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!! Do you REALLY think American soldiers go to war zones to murder civilians???!!! That is SUCH an infantile and, frankly, STUPID idea!!! I know that too many of the conflicts that our politicians have forced our soldiers into have been stupid at best, but to even DARE suggest that my brother, my nephew, or ANY OTHER soldier goes into combat, where others are trying to kill them, just to create mayhem makes my blood boil!!!
Muderers
Shut up snowflake you couldn’t fight for anything
Protectors of our country.
If you have a problem with that...it's your problem, not ours.
