Yes, let's waggle our tiny phalluses. But the Iranian response caused major casualties for 110 US military personnel and Trump folded his cards and declared victory nonetheless. It was a total loss that Trump pretended was a total victory. We should have sent 200 Tomahawks into Iran to take out military targets, missile launch facilities, naval harassment assets, and nuclear "research" facilities. Plus sink every motorboat Iran had in the Persian Gulf. We did absolute zilch. We did zero minus 1000 sacks of balls. So, so far less than zero. Weakness glorified. Nobody in their right mind wants full scale war with Iran. Nobody in their right mind believes that strategic strikes against Iran will lead to full scale war with Iran. Especially, immediately after Iran has bragged about launching dozens of missiles against US troops at a US base in US occupied Iraq, causing 110 US military personnel TBIs (casualties). Trump failed miserably. You can't brag about bagging Soleimani, and then ignore a massive Iranian missile strike against US soldiers, causing 110 casualties. We were told we were gonna have a easy, uneventful deployment, the unit we replaced had maybe one motor attack their entire 9 month deployment. Then we get there and within weeks shit went down hill, from all I mentioned and to include a high probability of a full on assault on our base by a local militia group supported by Iran that we had to somehow repel with a few gun trucks and a aviation unit. (Mechanics, pilots, and other unit personnel.) we were told to hold them off until the 82 unit that was on base got there(a 30 min wait). All the other nations that were there left just leaving the US and some Spain guys. Luckily from what I understand some politics changed in the Iraq government and the commander of that militia group ( who was also a commander somewhere in the Iraq military) was told not to attack us. We kept getting attacked with in-direct fire until the day we close the base up. To include the night before I left. Ended up only spending 7 months in Iraq with the rest of my deployment being in Kuwait, which ended up being extended by only a month due to the unit replacing us was delayed by the Covid. A small detail i remember from the time was how they didn't use an explosive warhead, in the aim of reducing risk of collateral damage. Instead, it was a hellfire missile modified to deploy several "blade"-like armatures moments before impact, turning everything it came into contact with into mince but reducing collateral risk to practically zero
I don't think they used non-explosive warheads. Judging by the aftermath videos and pictures, i can assure you that the bodies burned so bad to a point they needed DNA test to know which body part belongs to who.
@@integraxnine745 most online sources say the R9X hellfire was used, others do not specify, consider the car is full of fuel and the kinetic energy from such a missile and the fuel that may have been left in the missiles itself caused that much damage. also he was identified by the ring on his severed hand

Damn, they failed to killed any US military servicemen at all and ended up gunned down an airliner who had nothing to do at all with the drone strike, talk about bad aim. RIP to those innocent passenger.
The killing of servicemen wasnt in plan. Iran intentionally warned USA and Iraq personnel about this attack to avoid human losses. No kills wasnt a failure, it was a plan. And airliner was downed unintentionally, not as a revenge. At least Iran admit it, apologized for the downing of the plane, and paid compensation. I think trump played directly into Iranian hands. Qasem Soleimani was getting too powerful and could potentially have started a military coup detat to overthrow and replace the supreme leader. Instead Qasem was given orders to provoke the US which then caused the assassination of Qasem. Ali Khemeni (the supreme leader) then not only had his biggest internal threat eliminated, but was given a very public excuse to resume working on his own nuclear weapons. Make no mistake good people, these people are the greatest threat to humanity at this moment. Their backward culture is anywhere between 300 and 600 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to basic human rights and freedoms, especially in the concept of equality. You forgot to highlight the interesting part. The missiles (R9X) used on Soleimani's "convoy" were purely Kinetic and not conventional explosive. Basically as the modified missiles were fired, just before impact, 6 blades pop out and kinetically shred the vehicle.
Shredding anything is a kinetic act therefore you are using redundant word salad copy pasted to imply some claim to knowledge. Do you kinetically slam a door or just slam a door?
They were high explosive hellfire missiles that hit them...Have you not seen the aftermath?? The cars were blown to bits and what was left was on fire.
That was one of the best things that happened that year And that is kind of a lesson of how doom predictions are often exaggerated. Iran is very constrained in its ability to respond.

A small detail i remember from the time was how they didn't use an explosive warhead, in the aim of reducing risk of collateral damage. Instead, it was a hellfire missile modified to deploy several "blade"-like armatures moments before impact, turning everything it came into contact with into mince but reducing collateral risk to practically zero
yep, nice catch of that detail
Yep. Ukraine is using these now.

Some other countries never admitted their mistakes or apologized for shooting down an Iranian Airbus or a Russian Tu-154. RIP to all innocent passengers.

@@erfanian US tried to blame iranians with that iranian airbus much longer and with crazy theories like 'it was going to us with profile of attacking F-14'. @@phillipmartinez9232yeah because America should know better. Trump is a hot headed loser, and he is the reason that airliner was shot down.
I think trump played directly into Iranian hands. Qasem Soleimani was getting too powerful and could potentially have started a military coup detat to overthrow and replace the supreme leader.
