@@SammyandTommy A few recommendations - Singapore Botanical Gardens, if you like plants and gardens. It's spectacular. Singapore Museum of Art (near Clarke Quay, I believe). If you enjoy viewing really spectacular works of art, I would strongly recommend this. The works are well displayed and the collection is spectacular. One thing I'm going to do on my next trip is the visit the nature preserve in the Northwest area. There is a long trail that you can hike and there is also a resident saltwater croc. My fiance and I really love nature and animals so that's on our to do list. I haven't been yet, but the videos look great. All the best in your travels! 😀
I love to hang around inside the airport Changi the greatest in the world and people helpful and kindness. Very comfortable with machines foots massage. Enjoy your trips guys.

@@SammyandTommy the usual must do stuff in SG will be visiting MBS Skypark, Gardens by the bay, Singapore flyer, Esplanade. They are all around the area! Gluttons Bay, which is beside Esplanade, for dinner will allow you to enjoy a plethora of local cuisines (did you know SG is known as a place for gastronomic adventures?). Breakfast I'll recommend Yakun. Top notch butter Kaya bread toast set. The coffee is quite strong too, so just a few sips shall do. Singapore and Malaysia's local coffee uses butter baked/fried robusta beans that is kinda unknown beyond our region. The caffeine level is 2x your usual Arabica beans at Cafe. I personally love the bold taste and many Singaporeans and Malaysians lament not being able to find such coffee beyond our shores haha. Similar brands are toast box, heavenly Wang and kiliney. Some prefer them to Yakun. Also try our BBQ pork from Bee Cheng Hiang or Fragrance! I was told our ambassadors/diplomats will present it to guests and foreign dignitaries as gifts when they go overseas. Not sure how true this is. Haha! But I can totally understand why because it's just so tasty. However prices can easily go 2-3x during the lunar new year period as demand for it surges. Maybe you can consider collaborating with Ghib Ojisan. He's a Japanese globetrotting UA-camr who settled down In Singapore recently as he married a Singaporean :) his content about Singapore is amazing as he explores non touristy areas too
I’ve got 13.5 and 7 hours at Changi, going and coming back from Thailand. Since I’ll be rolling a carryon, no trip through Jewels but probably a terminal train going past the waterfall. Glad to see that your #1 priority in vlogs is not to show lounges. Even with a 13.5 hour stay, I’m not going to get a credit card with a $650 annual fee to use a lounge once a year.

Combination of strong coffee, anxiety of being late to the airport, flying/landing, all that can be really exhausted. Get more sleep, plenty of rest would help. I get sick pretty easily when flying. With vietnamese coffee, space 2 cups at least 6 hours apart, especially the dark concentrated coffee.
I’ve actually had a bout of motion sickness during a protracted and rough landing too. I got nauseous and almost passed out as well. My professor - with whom I was traveling on a business trip - told me I looked pale as a ghost. Afterwards, he treated me with a Sachertorte. It’s a funny story now but I know all too well what Sammy went through. Glad you recovered!
YOu guys already know we love your style. Also love the honesty about some of the less glamorous parts of long term travel. We loved Changi airport but did NOT find the free foot massages...that is now the number thing on our list when we get back there. Much love from us! (oh...and GO DUCKS!)
maybe simple fix since I practice Qi Gong and it has happen to me before. what you do is focus 1.5" inch below the navel , put your finger there and just think about that spot, it will take about a min. to calm the mind & shaking. And take deep breathing slowly. This is what I also do with every patient that is nervous about acupuncture needle.
If your layover is more than 6 hours, they let u go on a tour of the city too. Ours wasn't long enough for that. We were a bit scared to get lost, so we didn't explore other terminals really but ours was nice and the rooftop pool was my highlight. It wasn't free but it wasn't super pricey either, considering you get a very unique view with your dip AND you can shower and change and completely freshen up, as part of it, before the next leg of the journey.

I do not travel much but when i took a 3 hour flight for the first time to go on holiday it was smoother than a bus, it is only a bit loud and the cheap seats are not comfortable. You should try ships lol i use them a lot in Greece if the weather is bad you can't walk straight but it is very fun and safe, new ships can't sink in bad weather.

Chomp Chomp food market ( its in serangoon in the heartlands and open only during the evening ) for hawkers it's reccomended to mix and match from all cultures malay/chinese/Indian dishes. Bak kut teh ( peppery meat soup ) is very popular and around the island ( song fa is one of the popular brands ) they have it at the changi jewel basement but its around singapore. Kaya toast with kopi ( local coffee ) roasted chicken rice with chili and black sauce ! Malay mee rubus !

Reminds me of the time I was in Ho Chi Minh. I usually don't drink much coffee. But on my last day there, I decided to try their coffee. I got nauseous and cold sweat. Thank God it only lasted a few hours. But that was an unpleasant experience.

Is definitely the vietnam coffee that is too strong, it happens to me and feeling exactly the same, dizziness, giddy and very uncomfortable feeling after I drank the coffee in HCMC, drank lots of water to clear it. Welcome to Sg airport, best airport in the world!
Dizzy high chance from the phin coffe it really strong especially in trung Nguyen , you will get dizzy and feel like drunk if you are not strong coffe drinker ( I get dizzy from drinking it first few time )

Ah, now I know why Sammy was sick. She was drunken with filter coffee. Such kind of coffee is very condensed and heavy, and not easy to drink. Such kind of coffee can cause dizzy and heart arrhythmia

It could be a sensitivity to caffeine. It makes my blood pressure drop, my mind cloudy so it is difficult to think, and sometimes makes me physically sick. It may be work having it checked.

5:30 hope you are feeling better after the flight when you almost pass out. The time you almost pass out is the plane you took, if that is so, that is not Singapore plane that’s the BamBoo airways and is not Singapore plane. As you know there are many planes that land in Singapore. Singapore plane are Singapore airline and scoot. I have fly in Singapore plane before and my journey was pleasant. Singapore Changi Airport is pleasant place you could go.

Reminds me of the time I was in Ho Chi Minh. I usually don't drink much coffee. But on my last day there, I decided to try their coffee. I got nauseous and cold sweat. Thank God it only lasted a few hours. But that was an unpleasant experience.
I was transiting through Changi Airport and OMG is it huge!!! I felt like I had been walking for 30 mins between terminals and catching the tram.

Do not drink too much coffee. Some people can take it. I know i cannot. I drink moderately(not everyday) same with tea. Both have caffeine.

Is definitely the vietnam coffee that is too strong, it happens to me and feeling exactly the same, dizziness, giddy and very uncomfortable feeling after I drank the coffee in HCMC, drank lots of water to clear it. Welcome to Sg airport, best airport in the world!
Dizzy high chance from the phin coffe it really strong especially in trung Nguyen , you will get dizzy and feel like drunk if you are not strong coffe drinker ( I get dizzy from drinking it first few time )

Ah, now I know why Sammy was sick. She was drunken with filter coffee. Such kind of coffee is very condensed and heavy, and not easy to drink. Such kind of coffee can cause dizzy and heart arrhythmia
Lesson learned for sure, I don't have caffeine on travel days any more. 💞
Trung Nguyen coffee mixed with filter is very heavy, she is probably drunk with coffee 😁 nausea and stomachache, sometimes weak limbs

It could be a sensitivity to caffeine. It makes my blood pressure drop, my mind cloudy so it is difficult to think, and sometimes makes me physically sick. It may be work having it checked.
