- After the best month exploring the Philippines it's time to move onto our next country. But before that we have a LONGGG layover in one of the biggest airports in the world... SINGAPORE!!! We have 16 hours so let's see what we can get up to!

Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!
We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia!

Changi Airport is like the only airport i know of that people actually like long lay overs just so they can explore the terminals. Same goes for why i check a few hours waaay too early..lol
We definitely fall into the small group of people that love exploring airports 😅 but we knew we wanted even longer for Changi Airport and the time flew by! And a few hours early takes the stress away from travelling and makes that little bit more enjoyable
You two, are so Filipino. Only Filipinos can smile during a disaster. That's why I love you, guys! Some of us unsubscribe after vloggers leave the Philippines. But not me, I'm entertained.

Stay safe though and enjoy Indonesia. My uncle used to work there a ages ago but had long retired.

Thanks! This was a connecting flight, we flew Cebu to Singapore and then on to Jakarta

I think so, I'm not 100% sure but I think that is why we didn't leave
I’m travelling to NZ and have 10 hours in Changi, how much did the lounge cost please? I’m contemplating whether I should book a hotel room. Also did you have to clear immigration to travel between terminals? Thanks and safe travels ✈️😀
Hey! We actually get access to the lounge with our American express card, it only costs a few pounds and its a great addition to out travel day. And we didn't have to go through any immigration which was great, free to roam between the terminals thankfully

Do you think is possible to holiday in Singapore airport so flying from the uk staying in a hotel in Singapore airport then flying back to the uk because airport got everything arcades swimming pool massage places ?
Ehhh I personally wouldn’t fly all the way to Singapore and just stay in the airport because there’s so much to see and do in the actual country. Yes the airport has a lot going on and it’s a great airport but I don’t know if I would recommend that personally …

Ohh I'm not sure about this one, maybe in some of the lounges but I don't think they are just available for anyone to use

Yeah we did know this! It's great if you need a good night's rest before your next flight

Ohh this would be fully dependent on your passport. As Irish citizens we didn’t need a visa but you might be able to!

We don't mind city life it just takes us a while to get used to it again we are both from the countryside at home but we love a good city trip

I am unsure to be honest. We didn’t want to even if we could as we wanted to explore the airport!😂
Yes you can. You just can’t go through to airside past immigration and immediately come back out to Lan side again.
This airport is just the worst!!! We spend 24 hours there in hope to do a lot of the activities that were announced online but none of them was working. We also had to sleep on the floor in T4 and it was so so so cold. Seriously, I don't understand why they call this airport as the best in the world? It's just a huge shopping mall with a hard working air conditioner to keep people cooled down so they don't swet while spending money. I was so so angry because I was so tired and in hope to be able to rest during the night but there was NOTHING for travelers. Zero. Chairs are so fancy there that you can't even sit normally, so you can forget to sleep there. Sorry for the negativity but I was just so angry that night. I like your video and you were still smiling and doing the best out of it. ❤
Oh no!! I’m so raging you had this experience! It’s really unfair to travellers that they don’t get to experience these kind of activities, especially in the bigger airports. The airports should be better at alerting people prior to arriving is the services aren’t operating because you could have tried to leave the airport and have an amazing day exploring Singapore instead of freezing on the T4 floor
Hopefully you’ll get back to experience it properly some day
wouldn't u say tryin' to sleep in that airport is an upgrade from ur accommodations on ur way to siquijor (*after miscalculating the ferry ⛴ haha 😆 ..... )
P.S., ... oh indonesia, thought u guys goin' to vietnam nxt, but have an epic stay over there 'cuz bali is great place for dig. nomads!
Haha it was definitely an upgrade for sure 😂😂 Indonesia is up next so super excited for it but we will be going to Vietnam after that so we can't wait to see what we get up to in the months to follow
