Never been to Changi Airport, been to Singapore few times, one time by bus from Johor Baru, two times by train from KL for a weekend shopping. Back then in the late 1980s, SD1=RM1.5, now more than 3, and back then, there are not many mega malls in KL like the present time.
@@BingoandBinew Yes, more than half a century, both Malaysia and Singapore have gained independence. Too bad that the fast train project between KL to Singapore has been scrapped off 7 years ago by the previous federal government. 😀

7-11 in Singapore is an expensive shop. Just walk into any shopping centre and go to the basement level and you will find a general Supermarket. For instance at the Jewel, there are two supermarkets at B2 and B1.
@@BingoandBinewActually I know a lot of my friends and other Singaporean that get food and snacks from 7-11 especially the onigiri (it is cheaper than most sushi shop and supermarkets sushi) and sandwich as a quick snack. As it is affordable and east to eat. While for the pre make food, people only get when there are carving for it or the lunch hour is short and there are long queues everywhere. 7-11 is not cheap. Is like whenever I travel to a foreign country, I will always get a bottle of water at the supermarket iso bookstore or a general store. But provided there is one around :) btw, there is a Japanese store Don Don Donki at the basement of Jewel and you can also get a lot of japanese bento boxes and sushi and the the price will be 30 to 40% less after 8ish or 9pm.

The smoking lounge at T3 airside is the most beautiful in the world! Larger than most smoking lounge, air-conditioned, non-smoky with a Zen Garden with rivulets, mini waterfall and fountain with soothing water gushing and music, and you can see the airplanes landing and parking. Super cool!

@doel89 We’re not sure how it works in other countries, but in Canada (where we’re from) and the USA, lounge access is included with certain credit cards. There are various ways to do it, but it would depend on where you’re from and what sort of incentives are offered there. And you can also pay upfront at the lounge but that is usually the most expensive option. We hope that helps! 😊
@@BingoandBinewIf you don't have a credit card with free lounge access or are not a frequent flyer member, you still can buy a single lounge pass.
