You should absolutely do it! I like them, they will protect if I drop the bike on flat surface like asphalt, if I drop it on a dirt-road it might not. In case if I go down riding, (hopefully that won't ever happen) a better protection would be frame sliders. But dont buy any cheap ones from eBay or Amazon they are very likely poor quality and useless.
I put all the crash protectors shown in this video on my 2024 Svartpilen 125 (identical frame as 401, just a smaller engine) although I cheaped out for the front crash protectors and took a punt that the Svartpilen/Vitpilen forks were similar enough that an Ebay Vitpilen 701 front crash bung would fit the new Svartpilens (they were 40% the price of the official ones). They worked fine except I had to cut down the central threaded rod slightly. I dropped the bike the next day lol 🤣and the crash protectors worked perfectly. I did break the threaded mirror mount as the bike fell toward a wall and the mirror caught it while going down, but on flat ground the crash protectors should stop any damage from occuring. Except for some scraping on the handlebar ends, but I count these as crash protectors as well.
Thos are interesting frame protectors. Neat.
Good tips for repairing your Husqvarna 401 🛠️ 👌🏻
Thank you buddy, indeed a good way to prevent high repair cost 👍
Good job done. 👍
Thanks mate🙏
Im from spain. Where u buy a radiator protector?

Still happy with the protectors? I’m looking to order a 401 and was thinking about getting some protectors from the start.
All needed, more needed?

@@GurrasGarage are there any frame sliders available from HQ?
I dont think so. There is a company evotech that might have it, I am not sure for the 2024 model though
