Thanks for your work. I decided to go with Kinu Simplicity instead of c40. I'll doing pour over mainly, so I'll take Pour-Over Replacement Burr. I think Kinu suites me better not even because of functions, but the company itself. Easier to get spare parts. European brand I think. And I already have Timemore Nano grinder, so this is going to be something new. No more clicks.

Yeah, ability to set the grind size without clicks it's just something else 😍 seamless grind size change. Though, sometimes I forget that I've brewed Cezve.
Pour over burr is extremely slow just in case. I use it when want the cleanest cup, but on a daily basis, basic one works perfectly fine. Switching between the burrs isn't that hard, always keep it on a shelve

@@wendstudio_coffee Your channel is very good. Wish you luck. By the way I canceled Comandante order for Kinu after watching your video🙂

Thank you!) Will continue to produce some proper content within few weeks. Currently have some insane schedule shooting for channel in local language, but it allows me to collect some experience. And development of interesting episodes with reliable takes time) Review of Kinu (yes, there will be one more video) is still in process, getting used to the settings and want to have the lid produced by the time the script will be ready. One important notice - forgot about RDT (water) since there is no need for it

Do you think the pour over burrs for the Kinu are worth it?

Totally. Even though they're slower, the taste is currently wins. But I'll make side by side comparison in a few weeks. I started to switch the burrs quite often (between Turkish coffee and Pour over)

such aggressive advertising of Kinu is a little alarming 😉

@@wendstudio_coffee And I am grateful to you for that! But, Kinu has a constructive eccentricity (unilateral application of force to a movable millstone) and the notch is not so much cutting as the C40 but closer to "chewing" (like my MHW 3Bomber R3) and I saw the spread tables of grinding - Kinu is not a champion in this sport, alas. Guided by numerous very good reviews and a burning desire to achieve great coffee, I made an order for Kinu, but I'm not sure that I spent the money correctly). Visually, the C40 is a much more correct design in terms of the final result, although the lower adjustment certainly looks archaic.

@thesupermegagood It's not about the particles, it's about the flavor. Quite a few channels try to include some facts that aren't important. I'm judging the cup flavor, not some technical perfection

@@wendstudio_coffee a very sensible approach! The search for indirect signs of the quality of the result is necessary only for blind searches, if I could just compare several coffee grinders live, I would not read anything about them at all. And, I wouldn't write either )

@thesupermegagood I did 100% blind testing on local channel КАВА. Also did a comparison with Q-grader (c60 and Kinu). And the national coffee roasting champion shared his thoughts about the cups as well. So I have the data, not just my experience
