@@nunyabeezwax6758 Or at least make him do something if you do destroy a beast, like "draw 2 cards" or something. It's still suck, but it'd suck a little less. Or maybe let him target dragons too?
Cool video, but I think it's unfair to say old cards are forgettable because they're weak when compared no newer cards. Some of the game's most iconic cards are also terrible when compared with more recent ones (Ragnaros, Tirion Fordring, Savannah Highmane, Sludge Beltcher, etc.)
I fear, I asked people for cards they forgot and removed a bunch from my list if they were named, except sea reaver cause that card sucks ass and Dunking on it is funny
The reason that even very boring cards from Classic set and early expansions are not forgotten is they came very early. That time we wasn't so spoiled by new content. Yes, each Perils in Paradise card is obviously more interesting than Fearsome Doomguard, but he was one of the first, so he remains in our memory.
ive played so much arena since i started in karazhan over the years i feel good knowing all of these cards haha. i think there’s more obscure cards than some of these ngl
The voice line "hehe you cant hide forever!" Still haunts my dreams. I played since release, and that card alone made me know i was in for a world of hurt in a second.
It's too funny that I actually was scrolling HS library before this video and knew every card, deadly fork is really such a bad card, i don't know how they could ever print anything like this. Thanks for the content Flare, you're everything i could ask for in a Wild HS youtuber.
Deadly Fork should equip itself immediately after dying. Maybe give it 1 less Attack in weapon form ('cause it got bent mid-combat) if that'd somehow be too much for the power level of its debut (though I sincerely doubt it).
Being a f2p player getting into hearthstone in about 2016 i remembered quite alot of these cards as i had to make a deck with what i had and what seemed fun
Kara Kazham would be much more fun with some keywords added to minions summoned. A teapot and a broom may have Taunt and Rush respectively. And for a candle... Maybe SPD +1 makes some sense.
For the longest time I had no idea Deathaxe Punisher existed. Nowdays I remember it, but when I first saw it, I was baffled that it exists or that it's so bad. I got Mistcaller several times while I was playing Tombs of Terror (as one of Finley's Hero Powers lets you Discover a Battlecry minion from Paladin or Shaman).
Recognized every card in this video except forgotten abomination, which seems to be a new card, and stablemaster, which i legitimately never saw before I played far too much dungeon run to forget deadly fork, which is in the basic rogue deck
W vid, I remember all of these cards because of how niche or downright terrible they were at the time (except Conceal, that was broken). Shame on your discord for forgetting the INSANE value that was Deadly Fork which ended up just being a 6 mana 3/2 weapon 99% of the time. Shoutout to Captain's Parrot, one of the first tutoring cards and randomly needing you to complete a sidequest of owning every pirate to even unlock!
I did not expect to hear music from BTD 6...) The Druid card from the Grand Tournament that discards your hand and gives you 10 mana is the one I truly cannot remember at all. Haven't seen it ever. The others are also forgettable but I saw them in the game at least a few times
I remember playing og Hemet in a spell hunter with Rhok'delar, C'thun and Zul'jin during Darkmoon. So you played Hemet to get to the juicy part by deleting all your cheap spells, play all 4 C'thun spells then 'Jin to replay them and get a secon 'Thun. 🎉🎉
I feel like one night in karazhan is more memorable if you played wow back in The burning crusade, or legion. The original karazhan raid is one of the most popular wow raids
Brother Sherazin was my favourite card for a long time. How much I LOVED playing miracle Rogue in Journey to Ungoro. I even think I remember Hafu (?) playing this deck.
Quite honestly I started playing in sunken city and the only reason I know most of these cards is dungeon run, the karazan adventure, and watching mark
Of all of the laughably underpowered cards, im surprised you didn't mention The Skeleton Knight (6 mana 7/4 undead legendary with deathrattle: joust, if you win return to your hand)
In all of my 6 years of hearthstone I have seen people mention Deathaxe Punisher, but not the Darkspeaker. Literally never seen that card. Not even randomly generated
Arena sees alot of these cycle around. Perhaps standard doesn't have these cards come up though. For me at least most of these aren't rare or forgotten.
So you have to remember we didn’t have powerful cards back then and hearthstones direction was completely different it wasn’t about a strong competitive meta where as it was about crafting and creating new decks and meme decks for fun a lot of the cards you listed yes they were bad but they also had purposes and brought flavor to the expansions and adventure packs like sea reaver for instance that was made for grim patron or to pop divine shield bubbles on minions the cards were never meant to be meta cards just fun cards not one of those cards I could ever forget especially that rogue fork card or doom guard and he would yell Doom For You as he’s randomly summoned
I actually remember the fork cause I play a lot of adventure mode...... And that DAMNED DEMON IS HUNTING ME IN EVERY SINGLE ROGUE RUN I think the deadly fork is in a dalaaram heist initial deck or something, but I don't care man, just please buff this card so I don't scream every time it appears in my initial hand 😢
I fear, I literally saw someone talking about that card on Twitter the other day so I couldn't include it(and it's not funny enough like sea reaver to talk about)
Either I played way too much of this kids' card game or the average hearthstone player has terrible memory, I have never forgotten a single card in this game or ever felt unsure about a card being real lmao - This might be an arena effect though, I've probably played every card in this game 100+ times
Summary : Look this mediocre/bad card seems very bad compare to a top 20 strongest card Hearthstone ever printed usualy which came out 2-3 years later ! How could they do that ! ....
I think you do a poor Job saying cards are forgettable because they got powercrept. Gotta review stuff compared to their time! Most of them, i did remember quite well. :-) Also, don't fordert some cards like fork found a good place as value cards in Arena, which was important for many. Btw, you shouldn't use a card like worgen greaser as comparison when it was buffed twice already! I can kinda see how you wanna make fun of bad designed or weak cards but... better pick them a little bit better. :D
I started in 2017, making a "forgotten cards" video is always just going to be "look at this old card haha" for new players because anyone who has actually been playing / looks at the website daily will remember them
how could i forget hemet jungle hunter, he was played a lot in mechathun warlock, one of my fav decks of all time
The clickbait is working
Big time@@FlareIsGone
Or priest (any mechathun degeneracy so druid too but they don't really NEED to at this point...)
Original Hemet needs to be reduced to a common and buffed to a 3/3 or something...
@@nunyabeezwax6758 Or at least make him do something if you do destroy a beast, like "draw 2 cards" or something. It's still suck, but it'd suck a little less. Or maybe let him target dragons too?
Feel like being an arena player, you see a lot of these "forgotten bad" cards lol. Some times you gotta play what you get
Cool video, but I think it's unfair to say old cards are forgettable because they're weak when compared no newer cards. Some of the game's most iconic cards are also terrible when compared with more recent ones (Ragnaros, Tirion Fordring, Savannah Highmane, Sludge Beltcher, etc.)
It's not unfair, it's just bad analysis
Most of the cards he mentioned were useless when they came out too, he wasn't exaggerating when he said that
the btd6 soundtrack in the background goes so hard
Soundtrack slaps
Can't forget hemet Markmckz still use it
I don’t play that much but I recognize and own every card in this video. There’s definitely some way more obscured cards than this.

I could never forget the core cars they may be useless but they have a place in my heart

Broom has rush, pot has taunt, candle has divine shield and make it 4 mana book new broken card
@@FlareIsGone Yep, but Divine Shield is not too warlockish)

I love how most of these cards I know/remember mostly because Yogg summoned them somehow
God im so old seeing all these cards brought back the mems
holy shit i've played all of these. I even remember that vanilla demn's voice line: "apocalypse fooor everyooone!!!"
That one priest legendary for the undead archetype
Could never forget Kara Kazham. Gul'dan says it when you play it with him!
Brother Sherazin was my favourite card for a long time. How much I LOVED playing miracle Rogue in Journey to Ungoro. I even think I remember Hafu (?) playing this deck.
hemet was using in mechacthun warlok in wild in 2020 btw
Quite honestly I started playing in sunken city and the only reason I know most of these cards is dungeon run, the karazan adventure, and watching mark
I just started playing earlier this year and I knew surprisingly many cards from the adventures
Me guessing the Conceal and Captain’s Parrot correctly makes me feel old
I liked the little effects you added throughout the video
I wont ever forget about hemet. He helped out allot with the priest mechathun otk when it wasnt nerfed
Of all of the laughably underpowered cards, im surprised you didn't mention The Skeleton Knight (6 mana 7/4 undead legendary with deathrattle: joust, if you win return to your hand)
I only knew of felguard but I managed to guess the rest by how weak their effect seemed (and card art).
fucked up what you're saying about my boy Deadly Fork, he was always in my N'Zoth rogue deck, tearing up rank 25
Im ashamed to admit i knew the differences between all the classic and legacy cards just because ive been studying the first ever sets
In all of my 6 years of hearthstone I have seen people mention Deathaxe Punisher, but not the Darkspeaker. Literally never seen that card. Not even randomly generated
I sadly decrafted some of these older legendaries recently. Mist caller needed to say bye bye for the dust
3:33 Did I just get weezered?
I may have remembered like all these cards haha..
My favorite forgotten card is salty dog because its such a strange name for a textless card
that btd music is goateddd
Scarlet purifier is one of my favorite cards, nerver played him tho.
Nah i remember all of em. Mostly tnx to my arena runs but y hearthstone (even the mess it is nowdays) has a special place in my hearth.
Arena sees alot of these cycle around. Perhaps standard doesn't have these cards come up though. For me at least most of these aren't rare or forgotten.
How bad is it that i remembered all the cards in this video? 💀

Worgen Greaser was one of the worst cards ever printed at 4 mana 6/3. Then they buffed it to a 6/5 at some point
Great video and editing! Love you!
As a mark viewer i didn't forget about hemet jungle hunter
I never forgot about Hemet. He's great for certain combos
The clickbait is working
I actually remember the fork cause I play a lot of adventure mode...... And that DAMNED DEMON IS HUNTING ME IN EVERY SINGLE ROGUE RUN

legionnaire will forever be the most forgotton card in my heart
I fear, I literally saw someone talking about that card on Twitter the other day so I couldn't include it(and it's not funny enough like sea reaver to talk about)
I only forgot the karazan cards
Man idk what you're on about, I remember and know all these cards and I haven't played Hearthstone at all since DH came out.
Could've sworn aegwynn was from scholomance or stormwind 🤔
I did NOT forget about him because he is degenerate for certain decks who want to nuke their whole deck by X turn just to perform an OTK/combo. lol
The day you fix your mic is the day this channel finally takes off
Spreading plague is STILL annoying.
NO ONE plays protect the king except MAYBE a niche combo deck for paladin taunt.
can you rate class strengths/weaknesses vs actual strength/weaknesses?
I actually did that for a video, where I like redid the "official" strengths and weaknesses as what they actually are
I forgot none of these cards.
I literally crafted hemet yesterday
best vid I've ever watched fr fr
I remember your cards...
Guessed all the classic cards correctly, damn I'm a nerd 😂
If you asked me if conceal was a real card in like 2017 I'd have told you no way
Well jokes on you I know you forgot
Ancient Watcher
do not put cards between PRE-ben brode leaving and POST him leaving, cause the powercreep there was completely fucked after his leave
I think it's more pre and post iksar, the gap between 2019 and 2020 hearthstone is so utterly disgusting and it gets worse every year
Am I cooked if I still remember these? Maybe because I used them
i played hemet today
Clickbait is working 🙏 🤣
Excuse me sir but I actually LIKED Karazhan lol
I think comparing cards that were released way earlier in the game's lifespan to later notable powercreep cards is a bit disingenuous.
Either I played way too much of this kids' card game or the average hearthstone player has terrible memory, I have never forgotten a single card in this game or ever felt unsure about a card being real lmao - This might be an arena effect though, I've probably played every card in this game 100+ times
