Ship Wake : Blender & FlipFluids

Very glad i was able to achieve a ship simulation within blender with the FlipFluids addon. The release of geometry node has been primordial to complete this project.

Hi Archi Craig, Me an 5 of my colleagues in the master programm medical design at Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel (Germany) are designing a future ferry, one of us (Hannes) is working on the wave simulation. I’ve always wondered this: how do you seamlessly blend from the large ocean surface to the smaller flip region? Feels like it should be difficult to hide the rectangle but it always looks seamless.

This is very impressive. Would really love to see a tutorial or fuller explanation. Would love to see how you got geometry nodes to help here. I'm assuming you used geo nodes to merge the fluid sim with the ocean surface? Either way, great work!

Can you please tell what object you chosen as a obstacle in flip fluid and what resolution,and sone other values which aree important to create this effect as i am working on a project but my wake is coming like big water globules
