How can they claim they can't determine the intent to kill but only charge him with a traffic violation? Does Japan not have a manslaughter charge? They could charge him with manslaughter now and upgrade it to murder if evidence arises later for when or if he's caught.
It’s insane how that loophole even exists in the traffic law, but not only that but letting a man who very clearly can and has hurt others like that back out into the public. I hope that the family receives justice, the charge is changed to what it really is, and that the criminal caught. That man is very clearly too full of himself to have actually died, that man must be out there somewhere.

It is not just Hatta that killed the victim, it is also the judicial system that killed the victim since the system (or in this case, the judges) that gave the Hatta a suspended sentence. If the system didn't give the suspended sentence, Hatta wouldn't be able to hit the victim and went into hiding.
Too easy for him to escape. It’s possible for him to steal someone’s clothing since Japanese people don’t normally use dryers to dry their clothes. They hang their clothes outside. In his own words, he definitely went into the local Starbucks and stole a couple of purses or phones. Bought a train ticket to a major city and blended in with the locals.

I just came back from Japan, and saw this wanted poster at Hakuba Station. I noticed that among the murderers, this guy Hatta Yoichi had the highest bounty, and his crime? "Road Traffic Law Violation" - so I figured there's probably a backstory to it rather than the obvious "Road Traffic violation is worse than murder in Japan". But it's really funny when you don't know the story. I finally found this video after looking around for the backstory.
Thank you for making this video! I live in Japan and actually like staring at posters along my subway route a lot. Just a few weeks ago, I happened to notice a new photo of a pretty young man placed among the other regular faces on the most wanted list and was really confused. I was wondering just how bad of a thing did he do to even end up there when he looks just about my age (mid 20s)?? Now I know :(
Having the maps and CCTV footage really helps to understand this case even if you are totally unfamiliar with the area. Which I am. Because I have never been to Japan but this sounds scary af. I genuinely had no idea where this was going but this dude sounds seriously dangerous?? How does he not have a lifetime of prior offenses as an adult??
Many people in Japan didn't feel sorry for the victims. Which means the victim is a low ranking school student, so people shouldn't really care. I was absolutely shellshocked that people like this exist. 編集:デマだとほざく日本人達へ。実際にいくつかこのような記事があるから、言い訳を言えば言うほど立場が悪くなるだけ。黙って静観するか、自分で調べてから出直してこい。 迷惑かけんな
We've seen these articles throughout research. Absolutely unacceptable. There is this weird stereotype going around in Japan that the university in which the victim attended is such an easy university to get into, full of delinquent students. I believe this stemmed from the university being known for having one of the largest base of international students in Japan, many of them on a scholarship. So the university might have to accept some students domestically who may not have performed the best academically, but are still willing to pay full tuition. And knowing some faculty members in the university and sometimes hearing their concerns in which they have while teaching, I have to unfortunately admit that there are indeed some domestic students who may not be, let's just say, the most "respectful" during the lectures. But are the majority of the students who attend the university such? I probably have to shout the most resounding "no" to that question if this was a verbal conversation. The vast majority of students from this university are one of the most bright, positive and open-minded students that I've ever come across, including much of the Japanese students. So for some of the internet hermits in Japan (the majority of people in Japan have a large dislike towards them as well) who never stepped a foot into the campus and talked to one of the students to spread such negativity online when the victim literally lost his life and their family, their one and only son, is just beyond heart-boiling. So we understand how shocked you must have felt when you came across such an article, and we wanted to do our part here to let people understand that such negativity around the victim is just completely unfounded, written by a minority number of hermits within country who do not know how things are like outside of their rooms.
Ahahaha I've never seen a comment like that before. Where would you even find it? People with bad intentions are obviously in the minority. If most people were like that, there’s no way a country could be as safe to live in as it is now.
Thses kind of accidents keep happening in india, driver gets arrested n then they pay an amount in court n get bail n roam free 😲😲 But no one keeps a bounty on th driver's head 🙏🙏
i just like to think that they intently doesn't change the violation of the road traffic case into a murder case is just to lure hatta out of his hiding, like what if hatta finally decided to come out of his hiding after 7 years and the police then change the case into a murder case
you know his characteristics. he can endure. left his sleeper and moved near a water area maybe drove a boat to the nearest area from there he walked barefoot and hid somewhere. Maybe at daylight came he changed again location. if he is that narcissistic he'll choose to blend into a crowd and change faces like during an event or something. persons like that are insecure and choose to find a crowd for acceptance. he'll move south or north, south climate can elevate behavior and the north depresses the behavior.
for the sake of preventing future criminals from using that traffic law and local police districts from being cowardly. why doesn't the federal gov enforce a mandatory law that overrules local decisions of whether a case is considered a traffic violation or the other
Their reason of not changing the charge is ridiculous. The interview with jailmate Y made it seem easy to get away from crime in Japan. Anyone who hears it can easily remember it and truly might consider it. Such info in the wrong hands can result in terrible outcomes.
Who takes off their shirt before suicide, unless you want the world to think you jumped into the bay. If he drowned, why hasn’t a body washed ashore. Have the police even send scuba men to find a body? He did not commit suicide. He’s probably in Osaka or Tokyo and blended into society.
just caught up till 17:00 man why should get an additional charge for providing or giving advice to hatta, lets think this morally. they found a loophole in the justice system and hatta ended up using that. this is really sad to hear how far a criminal that had a chance to get back to society threw it all away for taking 1 life. it makes me angry.
Yo I was overseas in America and saw this face or someone that looks very closely like him on a dating app and didn't think anything of it until I saw his social media photos on here and I'm like wait a minute I know you
I've started to close videos the second "unaliving" is used. Feels great. Like I'm back in high school and I'm walking away from that really "quirky" annoying kid the second they use whacky internet words irl. You get less dragged out information without dramatics and bs if you actually read the stories straight from the source.
@@oshito still, in my opinion, there are plenty of ways to convey someone's life had been taken without these silly charades. I think it's pretty disrespectfull that someone's tragedy would be described as a mere "un-aliving" like they're some kind of joke or a game character.
So was there no CCTV cameras overlooking the harbor? They couldnt pathfind him nor see if he jumped into the harbor in an attempt at suicide etc.. Like this is very odd feeling
Evil guy... I'd like to highlight though that there is a big difference between narcissism and fixing your hair in the mirror and doing skin care... I think this should be made clear.
Hi, thanks for commenting. We believe the reason why Hatta's jail mate T said that he thought that Hatta seemed like a "narcissist" had a large part as to how Hatta was doing them, given the environment where they are at- a jail cell. Hatta, rather than being remorseful while detained in jail for his crime of confining a woman in his house, showed no sense of regret according to T, AND were simultaneously conducting the activities such as the constant push-ups, smearing the oronine on his face, clipping his nails, staring at the mirror for the full length when they were given a short time to brush their teeth, wash their face, etc. We're guessing that T thought that Hatta's tendency to not feel any guilt at his crime while being able to be completely absorbed in self-care in the environment of a jail cell, is what led T to think that Hatta was a bit off, and went onto use the word "narcissist" to describe how he felt about Hatta.
There's always gonna be a tough debate when it comes to following the law wether it is fairly done by the book or in special occasions morally. sadly we don't see much of that morality nowadays.

I was wondering just how bad of a thing did he do to even end up there when he looks just about my age (mid 20s)?? Now I know :(
easy just lure him out with free skincare products
XD
Having the maps and CCTV footage really helps to understand this case even if you are totally unfamiliar with the area. Which I am. Because I have never been to Japan but this sounds scary af. I genuinely had no idea where this was going but this dude sounds seriously dangerous?? How does he not have a lifetime of prior offenses as an adult??
I signed the petition!!!
Many people in Japan didn't feel sorry for the victims.
In fact, a few articles in the internet claimed
"亡くなった方には可哀想かもしれませんが、この程度のレベルの大学に通う学生なんて山ほど居ますし、亡くなったのがこの方で良かったという見方もできるでしょう。人間のValueには優劣があるわけで、これがもし九州大学の学生や大分大学の医学部生だったら本当に目も当てられないところでした"
Which means the victim is a low ranking school student, so people shouldn't really care. I was absolutely shellshocked that people like this exist.

WTF
@@Asianalysis yea, I couldn't believe my eyes. thanks
Ahahaha I've never seen a comment like that before. Where would you even find it? People with bad intentions are obviously in the minority. If most people were like that, there’s no way a country could be as safe to live in as it is now.
I'm Japanese, but I've never seen such an opinion. Don't spread BS
8:04 Illegal confinement…. What was the legal system thinking giving him a probation sentence instead of jail time
great video
Thses kind of accidents keep happening in india, driver gets arrested n then they pay an amount in court n get bail n roam free 😲😲
But no one keeps a bounty on th driver's head 🙏🙏
Very pleasant.
i just like to think that they intently doesn't change the violation of the road traffic case into a murder case is just to lure hatta out of his hiding, like what if hatta finally decided to come out of his hiding after 7 years and the police then change the case into a murder case
you know his characteristics. he can endure. left his sleeper and moved near a water area maybe drove a boat to the nearest area from there he walked barefoot and hid somewhere. Maybe at daylight came he changed again location. if he is that narcissistic he'll choose to blend into a crowd and change faces like during an event or something. persons like that are insecure and choose to find a crowd for acceptance. he'll move south or north, south climate can elevate behavior and the north depresses the behavior.
for the sake of preventing future criminals from using that traffic law and local police districts from being cowardly. why doesn't the federal gov enforce a mandatory law that overrules local decisions of whether a case is considered a traffic violation or the other
My sleepy eye was like. Wait what sykuno is wanted😆😆😆😆
Their reason of not changing the charge is ridiculous. The interview with jailmate Y made it seem easy to get away from crime in Japan.
Anyone who hears it can easily remember it and truly might consider it. Such info in the wrong hands can result in terrible outcomes.
It is very easy, this topic has been regularly brought up in any kind of media. But this is Japan, nothing is going to change ever
yo i luv these types of vids an especially when it involves asian stuff. lol Supporting u brotha thnks for the content
Rob a bank as an Asian man in America. Flee back to Japan and bam you’re gone Scot free
Japan's Most Wanted Man ❎
Yonko's Of The Japan ✅
This happens every day in NYC.
He does look like a psychopath
he does you know...
Will get this money soon
Who takes off their shirt before suicide, unless you want the world to think you jumped into the bay. If he drowned, why hasn’t a body washed ashore. Have the police even send scuba men to find a body? He did not commit suicide. He’s probably in Osaka or Tokyo and blended into society.
Heart breaking. I signed the petition
just caught up till 17:00 man why should get an additional charge for providing or giving advice to hatta, lets think this morally. they found a loophole in the justice system and hatta ended up using that. this is really sad to hear how far a criminal that had a chance to get back to society threw it all away for taking 1 life. it makes me angry.
Not to be confused with.
Mohammad Hatta
Indonesian first vice-president, a national hero.
(1902-1980)
No one would confuse the two
why did that escalate so quickly 😭🤚
Oooo,.he belongs to the 'fast & furious' species...
I saw him in Bali
Yo guys I actually live there and once a while there will be police asking me questions
I am Japanese and cannot understand English. Is the perpetrator introduced as Japanese in this video?
Japan should work on their policing intelligence. Many murder cases end up in similar scenarios from what i understand.
Miyachi... killer on the mic, confessions only of konbini not of ones of the rap game.
The shirt was so ironic
Isagi yoichi
Narcissists have to have victims. If he's alive, he'll eventually be caught. Rest assured.
Yo I was overseas in America and saw this face or someone that looks very closely like him on a dating app and didn't think anything of it until I saw his social media photos on here and I'm like wait a minute I know you
If this happen In Thailand, the police wouldnt even care to investigate if you are just a normal citizens
Japan most wanted person is like a normal Florida guy
he is just probably at home hiding in the basement or attic
Is there a physical copy of your book available?
*most wanted man in Japan*
*common man in NYC*
Latin Americans would laugh at this case 😂
most unwanted man in Rapa Nui:
It makes me baffled why Japanese law always have statute of limitations ? 😔
i was just a first year student at apu when this happened. tragic
I've started to close videos the second "unaliving" is used. Feels great. Like I'm back in high school and I'm walking away from that really "quirky" annoying kid the second they use whacky internet words irl. You get less dragged out information without dramatics and bs if you actually read the stories straight from the source.
Its to not get the video flagged and get suggested via the algorithm.
@@oshito still, in my opinion, there are plenty of ways to convey someone's life had been taken without these silly charades. I think it's pretty disrespectfull that someone's tragedy would be described as a mere "un-aliving" like they're some kind of joke or a game character.
yall bitch about everything
Blame you tube for that
What the actual duck? That's where I lived for years. The car accident happened 5 mins walk from an apartment I used to live. Unbelievable
Accident? You mean murder
It did seem a bit out of place. A lot of people do skin care and exercise.
@@Asianalysis The exercising part is pretty common though.
You didn't listen well. He used the cream meant for everyone for himself.
Love watching your content❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
So the word "suicide" is frowned upon by the Algorithm.. 🙄
There's always gonna be a tough debate when it comes to following the law wether it is fairly done by the book or in special occasions morally. sadly we don't see much of that morality nowadays.
the irony of his t-shirts print
Shaved hidei kojima without glasses
Hideo Kojima is secretly just Hatta Yoichi with a disguise
Dude, this is december 2024, AND YET THEY STILL CANT EVEN LOCATE HIM??
CORRUPTION IS THE KEY!
Bro i think I saw this guy in shinjuku in august
No way, he was wearing a shirt that said PLEASANT in huge, bold letters whilst acting so unpleasantly.
8 million yen?!
50 thousand dollars , oh
Why is the video now titled (As Of December 13th, 2024) was he caught?
The Bounties are jokes that’s why no one has turned these guys in.
I skipped the video earlier, because I thought that was Trap Lore Ross in the thumbnail…
What a crazy new anime plot * why do his eyes look like that?
