- Eccentric trip-hop funk from Mark Brydon and co with the irrepressible Róisín Murphy. Live on Sept 3 1996, in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the small Dolce Vita club, the year after their debut album, long before the hits. Btw, the interference lines disappear after a few minutes; and the camera eventually does go close-up, eg during 'Why', 44:45. The tracks are listed in the top, pinned post in the comments - thanks!

Truly interesting to see this time capsule, although the quality is quite bad, it is still worth listening to. You see that Roisin is made for the stage, surprisingly good singing considering her short career. The zombie dance is in action (which Eddie does in future shows) and I suspect that the keyboard players are Mark and Eddie (Stevens). The bass player does a good job working with Mark's line, but Mark is quite better player.
I always has considered Moloko as a live band, their studio albums are too wacky sometimes and probably they are not being critical enough to each other, being a couple at that time. It is symptomatic that Statues is their (in my view) best album, which was written after the end of their relationship. Live they were "forced" to make the music listenable.

You're absolutely right, of course. I put her name in the title, as Moloko are sadly no more, and Roisin continues to perform under her name. Just to catch all in peoples searches - some might not know of her pre-hits era with the band.
