Thank you Scott, great explainer... I stumbled upon your video searching to find a way to generate to do list/Planner tasks out of action items from meeting recap. I am disappointed to know that Microsoft haven't yet thought of the value of this feature and have to do it manually by copying pasting. Copilot/teams premium intelligent recap is a great feature but those follow up tasks will be lost in the flurry of content unless somebody creates those tasks/to dos which can be tracked to closure. Hope someone at Microsoft will take note of this gap and fix it soon :(
I hope so too - I was waiting for my Tasks to appear in Planner and nothing appeared. So I thought quickly adding it into a Loop Task is a quick workaround for now 😊
There’s a couple of ways - there’s a new option in Outlook coming to Follow a meeting, alongside Accept, Reject and Tentative. I’d probably suggest marking it as Tentative and you could set the meeting to automatically record, to ensure a transcript is taken or ask a colleague to enable transcript in the meeting. Then you can pop into the AI notes or ask Copilot Chat, what you missed 😃
hello. thanks for the video. I have 2 questions. 1-after we start trankript, is it for single event or one time all series? I mean do we have to open it in every meeting session or one time in series is enough? 2-this is user based? everyone should enable the trancript? or if meeting organizer opens it, copilot is enabled for every attendees?
Sure, the transcript is just for that single meeting and the meeting organiser can enable the transcript and it then applies to all internal people within the meeting (who have a Copilot 365 License) but external participants will not have access to the Copilot capability 😁
Very useful, thanks so much! Is there a way to correct errors in the recap after the meeting, for example the spelling of names?
Dear Scott, thanks for the informative video, curious to know who can enable this transcript (organizer or attendees or both)
thank you for your continued detailed explanations
You are welcome! 😀

How can we utilise this App when it’s an In-Person meeting?
Sadly, that's a little tricky as it would need to hear the meeting, or have the ability to play back a recording 😟
Try the OneNote transcript feature.
@@CraigArnoldt how?
Thanks for a great video.
How do we set this up so that this works when I cannot join a meeting. What is the setup process for that?

No problem
Hi I don’t see copilot option in Teams meeting
You need Teams Premium or Copilot for Microsoft 365 licence attached to your account.
