I'm a top 5 contestant to get my own show on Travel Channel right now. So if you watch this and like it, go vote for me to be the next "Travel Channel Star" :O
Ok, being stoned as hell out in the Indian sands, the hot sun beating down on you and your camel. Then as you get even more stoned, some lady begins to dance in traditional garb, with some rhythmic sound playing from the background. That had to of been one helluva night !!!
this is the best travel vlog of india i have seen so far, man most travellers sugar coat all india so much, man i love this video, i love this channel.
This is probably my most favourite travel video on India. Your goofy personality adds a certain charm to the whole thing. Specially liked the Agra episode with the rain and everything.
Whats makes india unique in the world is its culture, history, nature, deserts, mountains, ice himalayas, no country has everything, most important is history, you will spend ur whole life in finishing understanding the history it is vast, there are many cities around the world, but u wont see what u see in india.... Enjoy!!
Beautiful. I had gone for a 35 days tour in own vehicle to cover entire India, but after 35 days we could not even finish half. In every 100km, there will some change in language, culture, clothing, or food. Since the country has more than 5000 years of history there are many ancient temples, monuments and history associated with anything and everything which is very overwhelming. If you are in a spiritual journey then there will be more to it and you may have an entire life life not sufficient to explore all of India even for an Indian who has basic understanding of her culture
First time ive come across your videos Ricky but right from the start I couldn't stop laughing! Firstly stuck in the middle of the road, dodging a cow, almost falling off your ped and stacking it down those steps!! great video.
I had so much joy watching your video! I love your sense of humor and curiosity! Definitely much more special than all these typical travel videos! Thank you❤
Great video, thanks for sharing India with us. It looked like you enjoyed it and the you gave it a thums down? I can't wait to go myself. I really did enjoy it. Much appreciated here in Los Angeles Ca. B-) ~Elvis
loved the video.. very ballsy to jump in the Ganges, given it's one of the world's most polluted rivers lol. shame that you did not like the country much, I've been there almost 10 times and it's one of my favorites out of 60 countries i've traveled to :)
Excellent video, so crisp and clear! I myself has been to North India only once in all my life time; Varanasi is a mystic place! I will be your fan Ricky! Also go south when you can.
India is just not like any other country, they call it a sub-continent. Its so diverse in all the ways, say like Europe (i presume a lot more diverse than Europe as well). The culture, food, language, dressing, manners, terrains, changes every 500 kms in India. We have close to 800 languages in India, so you can very well assume how different are we Indians from one another. Say for instance I am from Bihar, 'Angika' is my mother tongue, speak 'Hindi' in general: right now I am staying in Hyderabad, where they speak 'Telugu' - which I don't understand, they eat different food, use different spices, celebrate different festivals. I studied in Manipal, where they speak 'Tulu', which again I dint understand. So you see to be able to see India, and to be able to form an opinion about India - you should travel across all parts of India. In some parts you will come across poverty (like in my state - Bihar, Bengal, Orissa and also in Varanasi), while in Other parts your experiences will be entirely different. If you wish to explore India comprehensively, I suggest plan a trip of more than 2 months. Itinerary - land in Delhi spend 2-3 days there, head to hills (Rishikesh, Kullu, Manali, Dharamshala: 1 week) - then go to Leh-Ladhak (motor bike - hire a bullet: 3 days) and then experience a bit of Punjab (Amritsar and Wagah: 2 days). You will get exhausted after that, so straight away head to GOA (relax, unwind at its beaches, go scuva diving, try some weed, offshore gambling and all: 5 days). Then try Kerala (goto Kochi, Munnar/Coorg/Wayanad : 3-4 days) then you should try Karnataka (Silicon of the East-Bangalore, spend 2 days in Bangalore then visit Mysore/Hampi: 3 days). And if you are coming in Winters then head to Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Pondicherry/Madurai) from Bangalore: 2 days and then goto Andhra Pradesh (Vishakhapatnam:1 day). After that head to Orissa (Bhubaneswar and Puri: 2 days). Visit Bengal from here (Kolkata and Darjelling: 3 days). Explore the North East India (Kyongnosla, Majuli, Mechuka, Dawki, Moirang, Shillong: 10 days). Then come the challenging part try Bihar & Uttar Pradesh (Patna, Gaya, Varanasi, Luckhnow and Agra for Tajmahal: 7 days). Go to Rajasthan from Agra (Jaipur, Jodhpur/Jaiselmer, Udaipur, Pushkar: 1 week) and then head to Gujarat (Ahemdabad, Rann of Kutch, Daman & Diu: 2 days). Finish your Travel in Maharashtra (Ratnagiri, Pune, Mumbai: 5 days). Spend atleast 3 days in Mumbai, experience its night life and Bollywood and then fly back home. Then in you next trip plan for Andaman & Nicobar and Lakhsdweep. Its always advisable to befriend someone of your own age in India for any help, write to me on rakeshchandravanshi@gmail.com for any help if you coming to Hyderabad. Cheers!!
Nice vídeo nice trip. I got really fun. My recomendatios: mark in a map the Place that you visited, this allow us to imagine the distance between places. The Beatle's song that you played is in spanish LOL
Hey Ricky, First I want commend that you made this all alone. Secondly, I was born in Varanasi but now living in Singapore. Thanks for visiting my hometown. I'm not trying to defend but probably if you would had hired local guides they would have help u with nice locations. Sorry to see it rained while in Agra. I wish u all the best for your future endeavours.

Dude shut up, I used to be Hindu, what u see in india is what u get. No one in India will agree on the same things about Hinduism. U got to accept it all, the good, the bad, the ugly and the disgusting. This is Hinduism, don't deny it.
I laughed so hard at watching this miserable trip to India!😂 You are the most coolest and sweetest person. The best part of any trip to India would be you. I'm not signing up for this India party anytime soon!❤️

when persians invaded India they had to cross sindhu river which they pronounced as hindu ..they named India as 'hindustan'
and so the people of India as hindu's..
like people of 'britain' are called british .
people from america as american.
modern India as Indian ..
likewise hindu's from hindustan ..
there are atheist , there are theist .
there are mythological, some are ideological .
some believes in many gods , some believe in only one god.
everybody wins here...
India is known as a sub-continent because of its rich diversity ...
