- @Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of two women who were very confident in their criminal activity that they went into a mall to steal things. One had an ankle monitor on from a criminal case and the other had pending criminal charges.
The two were trying to steal over $2,000 worth of merchandise and even had a getaway car. Bernalillo County Sheriff Deputies were ready for this pair and apprehended them before they could get away.

I realize that Republicans, as a party, don't care about anyone but the rich and don't believe anyone deserves to live if their net worth is below $1 million... unless (and only while) they are an unborn fetus the Republicans can use to criminalize being born a woman (because that's popular with their base). I personally do not feel people should be released from jail until they either complete a functional drug rehab program (not just getting clean because they can't access drugs but actually CHOOSING to get clean while drugs are available to them - forcing sobriety on someone does nothing to help them STAY off drugs) or job training or psychiatric treatment or whatever they need to actually make their lives better. Our prisons do none of that, though. In many cases, they don't even guarantee prisoners a safe place to sleep (because they force prisoners into multi-occupancy cells) or safe access to the bathroom (because they cram too many people inside without enough bathrooms to accommodate them). We need real rehabilitation, not just people warehouses. We need real community-level help for people with severe emotional or psychiatric needs, instead of just dumping them on the streets so local governments can pay ridiculous sums to build a new sports stadium we definitely do not need. We need people to be able to move on with their lives after jail, not a perpetual system of punishment designed to constantly fleece them for any money they earn, thus perpetuating the cycle of crime (because if you're going to get punished whether you commit a crime or not, most would rather commit crimes and possibly enjoy the benefits).
TL;DR - Stop just uttering nonsense political drivel like some mindless bot. This issue has just as much to do with Republican's actively evil governance as it does with Democrats' spineless "roll over and play dead every time a Republican glances at you" governance.

@notme2day I broke my ankle a year ago I actually disconnected my foot from my leg. I had surgery and a plate and seven screws and a cast all the way up to my knee. And I still took a shower for 6 months I had that on there. Yuck. And it was absolutely disgusting when they took the cast off. Finally, I thought I was a snake shedding my skin. It was gross. I can't imagine my body being like that, oh yuck.

My friend many years ago broke her leg, and she would take a bath every night, with a garbage bag taped around the cast. She would prop the cast on the side of the tub to prevent it from getting wet. This woman has a small cast on her arm which is no reason to not shower or bathe.

So never arrested but once when i was speeding (I was passing a truck that was pulling something - had to speed up to get around IN a passing zone so nothing illegal) Anyway as soon as I got around I seen the cop pass me and I was like welp. Fuck. I just went ahead and pulled over. When he got behind me he asked why did I pull over and I said bc I was speeding to pass ole dude and knew he was gonna come after me so whatever lol.
I got off. I was going pretty fast too like 65 in a 45 but had to pass him he was going under 40 and was behind him a good ways, got tired of it and had my chance to pass.

Just for context at least where I worked those testers were counted in inventory at full cost no matter how full they were so technically the same as stealing a brand new bottle.
Exactly 💯 the store has to count them as inventory cause it came from their delivery!!! When I managed a SPEEDWAY GAS STATION and the auditors came in, if I used product as a display, they counted it!! Theft goes against the manager's bonus, which is part of their pay!!! We don't work hourly like everyone else. We are salary employees, and we have to cover EVERY SHIFT that someone else calls off for, so our pay is based on sales AND thefts also!!! 😮
I worked at Macy’s and they gave them away all the time to employees. You can even put your name on a paper to raffle them off. I won like two bottles of Marc Jacobs Daisy once. They definitely didn’t care about testers. Customers also always dropped them and they’d shatter all over the floor. We never cared.
