I am 62 year old lady.Mybfasting sugar level is 110 and PP sugar level is 119.Whether I am in prediabetic,and if so what precaution I should take.

I recently had a blood test in India for employment in the gulf. The results showed the issue of liver. Some enzyme problem (SGPT 131 U/L) so I went to my doctor. He prescribed me medicines for the liver which will get normal in a week but he just spoke to me on that sugar level which was showing in the report so he said this is like a pre-diabetic, but take care about it, so as he mentioned that they didn’t highlight anything about my sugar level, but he suggested that just take care about it.
I had gone for the blood test empty stomach in the morning so the result was 108 where it shows the normal range should be 60-100mg/dl
I’m always exercising, no alcohol, but I guess these few days I’ve been having a lot of sweets, icecreams and all and never imagined I’ll have this problem. I’m very conscious about my health and I just want to reverse it and get normal. The sugar level and also my liver treatment which is in process.

45 days pahle Mera Hb1c 9.1 th a Aaj after 47 day it came down 7.9 .pp was 208 and after 47 days after it came 118 . Abhi tak Mai koi medicine nahi le Raha hu sirf diet ( no sugar ) ant no rice. Hope after 90 after Mera Hb1c me normal ho jaye

Mam mera random sugar level 143 hai kya yeh normal hai ya nhi
My husbands hba1c is 6.2,doctor suggested metaform tablet 500 mg after lunch,whereas his pp and fasting sugar was absolutely normal also he is using statins 40 mg,his cholesterol level is absolutely fine,can we use this medicine maam or can we control with diet,if we use this medicine is there will be any chance with controlled diet wr can stop using the tablet,kindly suggest maam
if fasting and pp are normal then its not diabetes ... no need of any medicines. Change your doctor

hb1ac 6 means you have eaten more sugar in last 3 months .... if fasting and pp are normal then nothing to worry
