My first year, I didn't door knock, i joined a team 2 weeks and they had me door knocking around 20 hours a week and I got my first listing today. This works and it gets easier with time, and I feel my skills improving weekly and I'm learning soo much now.
I door knock once and everyone was so nice. People say because of COVID-19 you should not door knock but people opened their doors more. It was nice getting to know neighbors. Now if they received my mailers they will keep mine and recognize mine. Your ego is blocking you from success!

I sold house painting so not everyone was down for it but I did find people where willing to open their doors and have a good conversation at the least. I sold and produced 8 homes during the pandemic. Door knocking works!

My personal opinion is people say cold calling & door knocking is outdated because their afraid to do it. But there’s always been money in the streets, and cold calling is really effective if you’re focused enough. I specialize in foreclosures at the time when no one was doing them. I would park at Bank Owned, HUD, or VA foreclosure. Preview the house, take lots of note, then leave the house open while I walked the block telling people what good deal of a fixer upper was on their block. Many times I got leads and buyers before I left the area. I would do this all weekend. Some months I sold 5 or more houses. One month I sold 10 houses in December, lol. I still door knock now looking for off market properties. Everything you said absolutely works. I'd walk 10,000 steps a day. Thank you.
I have been a builder/landscaper for 10 years and I can 100% say it helped me break out of my shell and build confidence rapidly just from interacting and dealing with people from all walks of life, it's not as scary as you think; especially when you approach people with confidence they will be interested in hearing what you have to say at the least (always stand proud) I am making a career change into real estate and taking my experience from working in landscaping with me and using it to my advantage. Door knock definitely it all about numbers. I guarantee no realtor is door knocking in your area. I had guy tell me your the first realtor to ever knock on my door, usually solar guys are knocking. 2 leads a week $6k-$10k a week. Make that first step. #annelusrealestate

Hi Bryan, I just got my real estate liscence in Canada and bought your cold calling and listing presentation program. However I just realized the laws in canada dont allow for direct soliciting to FSBOs and Expireds via cold call or door to door so I'm pissed and wanna move to America where I can actually utilize the phone for booking appointments. Mojo leads are also unavailable in Canada and very hard to find through other sources. I bought the mojo Dialer though. I'm considering getting my liscence for LA and renting there to start. Any honest feedback on canada vs america for real estate. Really annoyed as I always envisioned myself using the cold calls to generate business and am very good on the phones due to past outbound sales jobs. Too many rules over here. Late comment, but at 15-20 hours per week of door knocking, I would get 2-3 listing appointment per week.

Governors orders only apply to executive branch of government (government employees). 1st Amendment is law. Freedom of speech.
